Days Inn Lexington SE Hamburg

This property advertised that it had breakfast available: which ended up being yogurt and sausage biscuits you could heat up in a microwave. Not even instant oatmeal or cold cereal available. Also advertised--workout room. Nope: now being converted into a rentable hotel room.

Internet down, had to wait 2 hours to check in.

Not fancy and definitely showing signs of age, but the easy access from/to I75, cleanliness and reasonable price make it a great place for an overnight stay if you're just passing through. Check-in was fast and efficient even at a fairly late hour. The young gentleman at the counter was very friendly and offered information about the Lexington area. Check-in area was clean and tidy and offers a small selection of breakfast beverages, sandwiches and yogurts in the morning. Nothing crazy but enough to get you going. Vending machines outside the lobby door were stocked well but only took coins and $1 or $5 bills, no $10 or $20. The room was clean, which is really my main hope when stopping for an overnighter. Absolutely no issues there - kudos to the Housekeeping staff as it isn't easy to make an older place with transient traffic look good and actually be so clean. The towels were of decent quality and smelled fresh. The refrigerator actually worked, which was a nice surprise as I got my water bottes cold and even frozen for the next day. There didn't seem to be many dining options in the immediate vicinity, just a couple of fast food joints and gas stations but I really didn't venture past the motel.

I needed handicap facilities. The inly handicap thing was a flimsy shower bench. Doors are too narrow, toilet to low.

Good choice for a low budget overnight stay. Easy to find, right off the highway. Staff was very polite and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. No breakfast, no close restaurants, no pool, just a good night sleep for a low price.

Wifi was not working, microwave plate was mismatched, breakfast choices were very poor.

The property was run down and unclean. It was also undergoing repairs. The staff had no access to towels or toilet paper in the early evening, and there was only half a roll when we checked into the room.

Stay here for when traveling for work. Staff is friendly. Enough parking.

Staff was friendly but there were stains on the sheets and cigarette burns. Cleanliness was average.

When I gotten into my room it was dirty, sheets were stained and the room was disgusting

As always… The room was clean, stocked and ready to go. Check in was super easy…less than 5 minutes and I was headed to my room. Super friendly staff

I was laying in bed watching TV and felt itching. I got up and saw bugs in my bed. I got the phone on my flashlight and saw more bugs. I'm not sure if they were dead or not. I was moved to another room but had difficulty sleeping because I was so "creeped" out. My drive home was exhausting. Secondly, when I checked out, I turned in my room key. A child was behind the desk with an adult, but I noticed he took the room key and went into my room. Since I was checked out and nothing of mine was in there, I'm asssuming he was looking for the tip I left for the maid. He appeared to be 8 or 9 years old. I'm not sure if the adult he was with saw what was happening. I would like a refund on this one.

Stained, cigarette hole filled sheets. Stains on ceiling. Door was wide open when we arrived. Bathroom dirty.

Old and rundown. Poor maintenance. Not recommended. Looked like the place had not had any maintenance or upgrades in decades.

Room was very outdated and bug was on wall and burn holes in sheet and blanket. Toilet was slow to flush. Carpet was old. Very small pillows. Lock on inside door was broken.

Room needs updating. Not enough outlets to charge up devices. One outlet didn't work at all.

Room claimed to be non-smoking, but had a strong residual smell. Room did not appear particularly clean and in need of an update. The air conditioner was noisy & ineffective. Walls are thin, so you can hear what your neighbours are up to. We left earlier than planned. I guess you get what you pay for.

Overall it was convenient for us. It’s right off the highway. The AC was not turned on so when we got to our room it was super hot.

Our stay was good the bed was a king size it was comfortable. Staff was friendly the hotel is a little out dated but for the price ita a good clean place to stay.

Unfortunately the air conditioner/fan didn't work in the room so the room remained muggy all night.

- General Manager, Neal, was professional , friendly, helpful, and represented Days Inn at a very high level. - The room and hotel was clean, well kept, and very quiet. All good! - Great location and very affordable price. - I will seek out this hotel the next time I need a room in Lexington.

The staff was very rude and refused to let me speak to the manager. They would not help with any of my complaints. I strongly recommend not staying here.

Customer service is everything. At check in, which was fast and easy, the gentlemen who checked us in provided dinner and shopping recommendations and offered to provide directions. He provided a great room and was very friendly. This is just a quick pass through one night stay but I would happily stay here again,

We paid for 2 rooms for 5 people w/dog. Paid pet rent & $100 deposit/room. 1. Housekeeping harassed us daily (knocking on door w/ donot disturb sign and called us on room phone& cell 2. She c/o trash in bathroom threatening my underage kids that if it was like that again we wouldnt get our deposit back 3. She asked my daughter who the contiental breakfast was for ( made my dgtr feel like she was doing something wrong) 4. C/o her dog allergy and having to clean our room. She said we were going to have to leave bc the dog makes her itch... its a pet friendly motel and we paid for the dog to stay there!!!!!!! 5. C/o 1 dirty washcloth and 1 dirty towel ( we had to wipe our dirty feet constantly bc the floors were dirty)1 sheet with throwup from sick dgtr 6. Did not change bedding after dgtr threwup 7.ask us to leave room so they could clean and they didnt 2 seperate days l 8. They lock linens away and have no access after 3pm 9. Had to take my own trash out 10. She c/o having to vacuum pieces of paper on floor 11. Said we were dirty. 12. I felt like this woman was targeting us especially my kids... it was so WEIRD

I liked it being within a 15 min drive to UK Chandler Hospital. I checked in late about 11pm. The check in was so convenient and just a few stepsfrom my vehicle to the desk and he relocated my room for access reasons for me. What i did not like was the check in area has an alarm pulled out of the wall hanging right above an electric outlet, plug in spot. Looks dangerous to me as a fire hazard. Or electrical shock danger. But thats all.

It's a great location off of 75 and convenient for a rest from driving.

The hotel is slightly dated but in good condition, dinner modern updates have been done. Quiet, clean. Breakfast was coffee, yogurt, and pretty good microwavable mini sausage biscuits. Limited choices but good enough. Staff was extremely friendly. Area felt very safe. Great value for the price, and more than adequate for a good night's rest.

This hotel is a clean, basic bed for the night. We stayed here on a road trip, arriving in the evening. The room was hot as the AC had not been turned on. The TV did not work. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were lumpy. The room/bathroom was clean. Breakfast is “grab n go” pre-packaged microwave biscuits - we stopped at a Waffle House instead. Front desk staff were friendly.

The property was clean and bed comfortable. Not a breakfast. They had a grab and go. Yogurt, juice coffee. Not worth the walk over. The tub drain was not working. They gave me a plunger and i was able to get it going. Ok experience
