La Quinta by Wyndham Lexington South / Hamburg

This hotel was beautiful. Everything was great from the rooms to the heated pool. I have arthritis and usually have to avoid the pools when traveling, but this pool was perfect and I was able to enjoy it along with the rest of my family. The grounds were beautifully maintained as well.

The hotel was clean with only a few details missed. Some of The towels were formed into bunnies which the kids loved. While the hotel was a little dated it was still nice and the breakfast was really good. We enjoyed our stay and the pool was fantastic!

Overall a good experience for our family. Room was large, breakfast was good, and workout equipment was good quality. The only negative was the online pictures show a hot tub and when we got there the tub had been filled in.

Pool was closed

Was decent but there were a couple Stink bugs in the room but that happens everywhere. The bigger issue was we chose this hotel For the hot tub advertised on Expedia and it does not exist. They said they have tried to get that amenity removed from Expedia but it has not happened.

Pool open all night

We always stay at this hotel when we drive between Florida and Michigan. Recently we drove until 1AM in order to reach this hotel for our overnight stay. We got a late start and knew we'd be arriving quite late. So we called ahead and the staff was SO ACCOMADATING and understanding of our late arrival which made our drive to get to the hotel so much less stressful. The staff at this hotel always makes it so easy for us to check in and out. The hotel is pet friendly and yet it is very clean and updated. I really like the way that they are remodeling it right now. The new floors, etc will make it even better when people stay with pets. So much easier for staff to insure that every room is sparkling clean for each guest (with pets or not). The best thing about this hotel is that pets stay free! This fact is a HUGE plus for us! We are not hassled about our pets during our stay and we actually feel that are pets our welcome at this hotel. The only thing that I wish was different at this hotel is the parking. It's very tight. We will continue to stay overnight at this hotel as long as management continues to do all they are doing to make use feel welcome. Special thanks to the staff! We appreciate you!!

The lady at the check-in and check-out was very nice and helpful. The place was really clean, and the room and bathroom were so neat. The pool was warm too, which made swimming much more enjoyable. The breakfast was very good too and had a good variety of options to choose from. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

This property needs more luggage carts

Stopped here for a night on the way home from Florida. Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Fell asleep quickly. The breakfast room was much better than most and the price was great for a hotel of this quality. The staff were friendly too. My only complaint was that the shower pressure was meh. Definitely consider stopping here if you're traveling on I-75. Didn't have time to use the pool or fitness room but they looked very nice too.

This hotel had roaches. That’s all I need to write.

Our room had an unpleasant smell. There were tiny ants all over the counter/ bedside table. Didn't request a handicapped accessible room. Shower got water all over the bathroom floor b/c of poor construction. Bathroom floor was filthy. Blue tape securing parts of the walls in the building. I will NEVER stay in another LaQuinta Inn if this is what I have to expect.⁰

We enjoyed our overnight stay after a long, tiring day on the road. The room was super clean, as was the whole property. Beds were comfortable, and the shower had tremendous water pressure. Good breakfast with several options. Everything seemed new and up-to-date. There are plenty of charging options for electronic devices. Hallways and public areas are very spacious and well-kept. We are definitely making a note of this hotel for future reference.

Super easy checkin. Room was great. Very clean and wonderfully updated.

We went for the pool. Which was heated as expected. However, the facility was very unclean. It is crawling with bedbugs and something else in the bedding that caused a serious rash. We won’t be going back.

We stayed in room 212 and arrived very late. There was a big cockroach that ran down the wall and under the carpet by the AC unit. The receptionist let us know there were no other rooms available and gave us some raid spray and discounted our room. She was very nice and tried her best to help. I was at a loss and couldn’t find another place to stay so late at night with two toddlers. I ended up killing another cockroach after speaking with the receptionist. Other than that everything was ok but it was very hard to sleep peacefully after that.

First room had ants. Second room the bathroom smelled like sewage. Constant door slamming. Bed was not comfortable. Couch was HARD (not comfortable)

Our room smelled really bad. It had not been cleaned as I feel it should have. There was dust on the counter by the window as well as where the tv was. There were roaches in our room that I reported once we saw. Our bedding was not clean, thankfully we always bring our own. I read reviews and was disappointed after arriving.

Room was clean. Dont like the way they did the shower. You cant turn it on and let it warm up without getting wet. Bed was a little hard for me.

Every thing was great except the water pressure in the the shower. 2/10

Hotel is renovating, but it didn't bother us. Our room was quiet and spacious. Comfortable seating. The bed was great!! I often have trouble sleeping on hotel mattresses because they're too firm--this one was just right. Nice selection at breakfast. Easy check in and check out.

We got the 1 bedroom king suite and it was absolutely fantastic. Definitely better than we expected at such a great price. The staff were so nice and welcoming and accommodating. Property was clean and comfortable and felt very safe. Nuce quiet area. The indoor heated pool was absolutely amazing it was nice and warm. I give this hotel 5 stars and will definitely be back soon!!! 10/10 recommend

Very nice hotel. Large room, couch and chair, nice closet, comfy bed, good breakfast, great coffee, and cookies! Pet friendly with big field to walk in.

This is a great hotel! Very clean and well maintained, we had a king room and it was very spacious. The entire hotel looks very new. We will definitely be staying here when we travel. And the price was even better compared to other places.

Our stay was not good we got in late due to traveling only stayed a few hours due to noise. All night long there was thumping people yelling and constant thumping on the walls and floors. None of us got any sleep

We normally say at La Quinta properties on our way down to Florida and this one was a disappointment. The rooms were outdated and stained. There was very little water pressure in the shower and sink.

This hotel was super clean and smelled so good but the room was extremely hot. They didn't have any fans to give us to cool it down. Also, the mattresses have to be from the 1980's. They creek and crack everytime you move and hurt all of our backs. Other than those 2 things it's a great deal for a clean room!

Room heater was noisy to the point of being a sleep disruption.

This is by far the best hotel we have stayed at. The staff are so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They always greet us with a smile. We literally will not stay anywhere else.

Extremely disappointed. I returned because I experienced a great visit the prior week. After I made this reservation I called to request a first floor room. I had my 88 year old father with me along with his dog and a lower level room was needed. I was told by the manager, that he wasn't by the computer but he would note it. When I arrived my request was not noted and there was not any available rooms on the lower level. When the front desk called him he at first denied my call and then said he remembered. He asked her if I had paid yet, she responded yes, paid through Expedia, he then stated if she doesn't like the options given to her give her money back and she can go somewhere else. The manager should ashamed of his behavior and has no business being a manager; Wyndham should find his customer service unacceptable.

Desk clerk was not very friendly. Breakfast wasn't very good.

Super nice hotel and the staff are great we checked in very late and Peggy ( Night Auditer) was awesom and so was the MOD the next morning. Other laquinta is closer to where we need to be but dosent come close to this one and the staff.

The room was renovated, all new, very nice and clean. The staff was kind and helpful. Location of the hotel close to I-75 and easy to reach. I can really recommend this hotel.

Far from central Lexington but freeway convenience.

The property met our expectations of cleanliness and smooth service. It was conveniently located by the soccer complex and the main highways. It was quiet and safe.

Was fine for one night but personally wouldnt want to stay longer than that. Dont get me wrong the front desk was nice and technically the place was clean but it was really dated, the location wasnt great because its really on the outskirts of town and additionally, next door to a gentleman's club. We were staying with our kiddos so not a huge fan. Not horrible tho. Beds not comfortable in my opinion. But clean and did the job for a night.

The breakfast buffets are excellent - - sausage, bacon, toast, waffles, eggs, biscuits with gravy, etc. Also, the hotel is pet friendly with no fee for your pet. Only issue was the room key had to be replaced; had to pull down on the door handle twice each time to get in.

Staff and conditions of property was great. The only cooked item that was good was the waffles and cinnamon rolls that we made.
