Overall it's a nice property with a convenient location near the village. My complaints are 1. AC was out the entire evening until 4am the next day. I had to ask to get some compensation. None was offered unless you asked. 2. They don't take out your trash at least from the kitchen. You have to use the trash chutes for your floor. Had to do this at a timeshare, but never at a hotel. 3. Onsite EV charging rates are criminal, Over 50% more than the cost to use a Tesla Supercharger in Mammoth. The pool areas was. Ice and frequently used. Appreciated the water refilling stations and free morning coffee in the lobby as well.

The hotel staff were warm, welcoming, professional and efficient. The suite was beautiful with 270 degree views of mountains. The resort facilities were also fantastic for exercise and swimming. I look forward to returning in Winter and experiencing the changes in the landscape and nature. I can't fault this hotel it was a joy to stay at and very relaxing with excellent underground parking included

This was such a beautiful place to stay with direct access to the village. Even in the off season the pool and hot tub areas were kept up very nicely. We had an amazing week here and didn’t want to leave :)

I expect the hotel to be more like other properties that you have such us the beaver creek one. The pool was dirty, the bench at the gym was broken. The hostess at the reception they were esucated by seems that they were doing you a favor to attend us when we arrived

Great stay at the Westin. Super convenient in walking distance to Mammoth Village. The Gondola to Canyon Express is just across the street so easy mountain access. Underground parking is also really nice. Ine elevator was not working so there were delays at busy times. Also they have a coffee station in the morning but it comes out kind of late - around 7am. They need to set it up for 6am. Lots of patrons looking for it between 6 and 7 Other than those things we loved our stay at the Westin Mammoth!

The staff was very rude overall, not welcoming. The room was not properly cleaned. Even at the hotel restaurant when they brought my coffee there was a disgusting lipstick mark on the coffee cup (how did they miss that?!) had to send it back. Overall, NOT worth the price at all!!!!

The cleanliness standards and service have decreased significantly. They replaced all pillows at the hotels with some cheap and lumpy ones. We had really hard time sleeping. I asked to replace my set with a newer one, but I had to follow up on my request two more times during the day. Moreover, our bed comforter had a stain prior our arrival, we left a note for the cleaning personnel to replace it, but they didn’t care about the note, we ended up with the same comforter. Also, the restaurant downstairs, even though with good food, had really dirty tables. One hot tub was closed and another didn’t have working jets. Yet, they charged us ~$450 per night. Not really the service of a 4 star hotel, what a shame!!!

Enjoyed the Spacious suite and the price is reasonable. The lack of cleanliness was concerning. Behind the furniture we saw candy wrappers, rotting food and grime. The staff was courteous. Location was nice. The restaurant was very disappointing. Good service but poor quality food and cooking.

Majority of everything was good except my dog found a capsule on the ground next to the bed… Also part of the carpet was wet, the carpets definitely old and quite ragged. Bed was comfortable, the floor we were on was kind of noisy, lots of people coming and going in doors slamming. I do like this Hotel, as well as the staff and how friendly they are. Good blackout blinds, comfortable bed, they even offer dog beds or bowls if needed.

Nice hotel in a great location. Don’t let the pictures fool you. It is not that big. There isn’t really any lobby like you’d expect. The pool is nice but there is no pool bar. Self parking is in the parking garage underneath the hotel. The kitchen inside the room is nice. The beds were wonderful as always

Hotel is beautiful. Very comfortable and spacious with great amenities. Only complaints are the ridiculous dog charge - shouldn’t have to pay $50 a night when paying almost $500 a night for the room; only one elevator was working the entire stay; and the pillows are too tall so we had sore necks (rest of the bedding was AMAZING). Loved being right at the lifts and never having to drive in snow.

I was very disappointed. It started with the hotel room doors not opening. The family had to do multiple trips back to the lobby. I was told to kick the door or slam the door back and forth. Throughout the stay, door was a consistent issue even when opening from the inside the room. A potential safety issue in case of an emergency. Second, be prepare to wait for the elevator. Do not be surprised if you have to wait 4-5 cycles before getting in to the elevator specially during check in/ check out peak time. If you are not with cranky kids or with an elderly, take the stairs, even from the 7th floor, as that might be the fastest way down. 3rd, I believe it was a delivery van that was causing a beeping noises (beeps when commercial vehicles are in reverse). This started around 6am and continued on for more than 30 minutes. Overall, i would pick a different hotel in our next trip.

Love this resort. With that said wifi was down our complete stay and the first night was a bit rough because our AC wasn't cooling but as soon as I called they sent someone and fixed the problem. Clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall great stay.

Thai review is specifically about incorrect room measurements n Expedia , we booked 530sq ft toom but instead got a smaller studio suite that was much smaller . Hotel rooms are clean and kichenettes have utensils and basic stuff to use for families. Pool is decent .

I had a small room issue with a screaming baby in the room next to me. Front end staff, a younger male, very quickly addressed the situation, insisted that they help me move my belongings and gave me a room with a much nicer view. This team member deserves to be recognized for understanding customer service! He truly made me feel like my happiness was important, something very lost in business today. Beyond that the hotel is quite nice, quiet, and I will definitely stay here again.

Very disappointed with this Westin Property. 1) A/C not working in room - was told they have several rooms with same a/c issues. 2) Maintenance visited our room 2X before they gave us a new room - only after we requested a room change at 830PM. 3) Restaurant closes @ 9PM and with a very limited room svc menu thereafter. 4) Reason given for early restaurant closing “all the restaurants in this area close at 9.” 5) Asked for some sort of compensation for these challenges and was told, “I can’t do that as I don’t have authority to do so and one who does, is here.” 6) VERY disappointed in Westin for this experience especially when paying ~$500/night. 7) Best part of our stay? The valet team!! Fun, happy, welcoming people. Thanks guys!!! Westin, you can do better and more importantly, you SHOULD do better.

Great hotel. Clean and quiet. The only problem I had was with staff at front desk. She was not very informative or friendly and seemed put out when I asked questions. Also, was quoted $25 for valet parking online and was told it had changed to $35 at desk. A second staff member rudely chimed in when I tried to explain this and said “well, the price just changed and it is what it is.”

We stayed in a two bedroom suite which had a kitchen. It was a large and attractive suite. The mammoth Village was great too with restaurants and shops open even in the shoulder season. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back. The hiking in the area class

10 stars! Easiest check-in I've ever experienced. I was greeted warmly, checked in immediately, he upgraded my room (I checked in on a Sunday) and he even offered me sparkling wine, all in a five-minute span. The service and room we were given was amazing and I can't wait to return, everything about the resort and immediate area were the best!

The Westin is perfectly located near the Village gondola so it was awesome to just go up to Canyon Lodge without ever driving anywhere. I really liked using the snowboard valet also! What a nice touch! All the hotel staff were very nice, professional and helpful. The studio suite was a great room for my family and with spectacular views of the Village.

The oysters served in the restaurant are smelly, but the waiter said I don't like them! It's so weird! Restaurant service staff have extremely bad attitude! A group of people chatting but didn't bother to prepare water and drinks for the guests (ordered coffee without spoon and milk...) This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!

Location is great. Right next to the main little town center and gondolas. Not many options for dining inside resort. Only one restaurant with poor service and quality and overpriced menu. Lots of dogs inside resort given it’s a dog friendly resorts. Avoid if no dog or allergic to dogs.

I liked that the property was near the town. I didn’t think the property was kept well. The room had handprints everywhere which obviously was cleaned well. It seemed dated for the price. The restaurant in the hotel was awful. The food was terrible, the customer service was terrible, the prices were ridiculous compared to the quality of the food and service. The check in process was terrible. She zipped through everything and left me overwhelmed. I forgot to ask some questions I had. Seemed like she just wanted to get it over with and didn’t care about the customer experience.

This is a great property to explore the Mammoth Lakes Region. Everyone was kind and helpful. The restaurant had good breakfast and dinner choices as well as cocktails and wine. It is right next to the village that has some shops and dining as well.
