We absolutely loved this hotel and will stay again. Great location, great pool, great breakfast, great staff, great parking. The only issue was with the elevators. There are only 3 of them and one was out of service the entire stay. Lines to take an elevator could get very long at times.

Our stay was great, friendly staff, they asked when we wanted room service and we chose every other day. It was clean and convenient. We stayed for a family vacation, our kids loved that we were right on the beach and loved the indoor pool in the evenings. The breakfast was great and the amount of seating they have is amazing. The hotel is so conveniently located that we were able to walk almost everywhere we went. My husband and I love that the hotel has a private garage too, it was a very safe feel and very clean also. We will be staying here again.

The hotel was very clean, and staff welcoming. The views are amazing, dolphins right outside our balcony almost every morning. There is both an indoor and outdoor pool, while a little chilly, very clean and beautiful. The outdoor hot tub was great, there was not one inside. The bar by the outside pool had amazing drinks, and the bar tender Justin, was superb. He was very attentive and always smiling. Would definitely stay again!

Staff was excellent. The outdoor pool and hot tub being connected to the hotel next door was weird. The fan in the bathroom was super loud. All in all, a good experience. I'd stay there again.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last 5 years and they are continuously improving the facility. Our only complaint is that the outdoor pool is freezing cold even in June and the hot tub is often broken.

The amenities was good but when I got my room for 3 days on April 18- 21th. The cleaning service in the room was terrible the tub was not that clean. I left very upset that they did not clean my room all 3 days I was there. I did asked them several times to clean and when they gave us towels it was given to us in trash bags on the door when we asked for it. I am very upset about the cleaning service in the end I got very sick with upper respiratory infection because it was not sanitary..

Haley accommodated our request for early check in with no issue. She was very kind, courteous, and helpful. We even received an upgraded room with a huge spacious private patio with lounge chairs and an outdoor dining table. Room was just as spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had plenty of delicious options, and was well attended by the very kind and kery courteous breakfast staff. All the staff in the hotel were very kind and delightful. The only negatives were the roaches that came out on the patio once it got dark and quiet. The elevators were often too busy, but it was no issue taking the stairs up/down. And also the indoor pool water could've been clearer. Overall, we had a delightful stay. Thank you Haley for our delightful accommodation.

Room was advertised with a balcony including chairs, loungers and tables and we didn’t have that. Housekeeping missed our room so we had to ask twice for new towels, toilet paper and to have trash taken out. Indoor pool smelled so bad. Filthy floor. Indoor pool was supposed to be heated and it was cold. Pool water was so foggy, couldn’t see your legs.

Overall our stay was pretty good! We loved having a spacious room for the 4 of us to spread out. The pullout couch was convenient but not comfortable (it does not come premade with sheets). The balcony gave us a fantastic view, however the hot air blowing from the air conditioner vent made it extra warm. Housekeeping comes every other day but when we requested items we got them almost immediately! The shower temperature always fluctuated, either too hot or too cold. The outdoor pool was great, loved the bar and the food options. Parking was also great, 4 floor parking garage. We always found a spot. Breakfast was good, I do wish the options would of changed up a little bit though. The WIFI was the only big gripe for us, it never worked. We asked the front desk and they couldn't do anything to fix it. This hotel is in a perfect spot, lots of shops. The volleyball nets are set up right on the beach in front of the hotel, its fun to watch everyone play. Besides the small inconveniences, this hotel was a good stay!

The staff was extremely friendly and customer service was excellent. I only have a few suggestions for improvement. Wi-Fi here is terrible. The lobby WiFi only works in the lobby. It doesn’t work in the exercise room or the pool area and it runs very slow. The room WiFi was nearly nonexistent. Our room was the last room in the hallway and we were rarely able to pick up a signal. This was inconvenient as I regularly need WiFi for my business. While we were there the door hinge on the main exit to the beach broke on our second day. By our 10th day there it still wasn’t fixed. This was inconvenient as we had to use a more distant door. I hope these issues are addressed by next year as my wife and I discussed staying here again.

This is our second stay here and this time was even better! Our room was updated since last year with an AWESOME West Elm daybed convertible bed for our daughter, and the room was super spacious. Couldn’t hear ANYTHING from other rooms. Bathrooms clean, sheets/etc all clean. Only issue was the third elevator wasn’t working, so getting up and down was a bit annoying. But that’s literally it. Fantastic hotel, great location away from all the nonsense/loud noises/people and close to the best pizza restaurant there (planet pizza). Def recommend!

The oceanfront views were unbeatable! It was so nice to just be able to walk right out and be on the beach. Breakfast was great and we really enjoyed our room. Our suite was big enough for 5 adults and one child. It was perfect!!

We had an amazing stay at SpringHill Suites! The accommodations were spotless, recently updated, and spacious (with two equally sized rooms available as a one-bedroom suite), making it ideal for our family during spring break. We loved the oceanfront balcony and the convenient beach access. Additionally, there were bike lanes and boardwalks nearby for us to explore. The kids really enjoyed the breakfast choices, which added fun to each morning.

We loved being oceanfront! It was a nice, easy walk to the beach! The indoor pool was good for the kids for the first couple days, then it became cloudy, but that was ok! The only complaint we had was that the air conditioner was VERY loud in the bedroom, it made for some difficult nights of sleeping. It was also very loud on the balcony, and it wasn’t very relaxing. I also assumed that I paid for a walk out balcony, as that was advertised in the pictures of the room. Overall, we had a great vacation minus the minor inconvenience!

The GOOD: the room was good, oceanfront, nice view, well appointed. Response to one room problem at check-in was lightning-fast. The BAD #1: the building is 13 floors; with only 2 of 3 elevators working, delays were long at breakfast and check-out. Carrying bags to/from the room was painful and confusing: parking elevator only goes from garage levels to 1st floor interior; so grab a luggage cart inside, take outside elevator to your car, ride back to 1st, take inside elevator to your room floor. You get the picture. Similar for leaving/returning to the hotel during the stay. The BAD #2: HVAC temperature varies widely. The vent blows right onto the bed, freezes you while it's cycled on, cycles off, then waits until stuffy warm to cycle back on. (we were there in July; it's presumably the reverse in winter) The BAD #3: Marijuana is legal in VA. We smelled it coming from some nearby balcony, we smelled it walking around the shops on the street, and lots of other places around town. I don't mind other people indulging, just don't want to smell their "skunk."

Front desk poor service. Fromt desk gave another guest my room key. Rented to another guest while we were stil there.stranger walked right in on us. Not there fault. No apologies from staff.

Anything marked by its consistency and reliability for delivering on expectations needs widespread recognition. All rooms face the ocean and are spacious and clean with no frills but all the necessities. Location is good if you want easy access to shops and restaurants but do not want to be in the thick of it. The staff (housekeeping, front desk, breakfast hosts, facilities, etc.) are professional and friendly. They genuinely appear happy all the time. Breakfast is one of the best we have experienced in the US. Gym and pool are satisfactory. Parking is convenient--access to multi-level garage from lobby. This is our second stay within the past two months. We plan on making this our go-to place when we visit family in the area. I am a native to this city and have stayed in nearly every highly rated hotel at the beach over the past three decades.

Stayed at this multiple times and hotel and room always clean. This most recent time we had a major scare in the elevator closest to the lobby after letting passengers off at the 4th floor and we only had to go up the 5th floor, the elevator dropped a good amount to scare the hell out of all of us and we were stuck in there in there for a good 10 minutes until it finally go up to the 5 the floor. Told the front desk and they could have responded with a lil more compassion about the situation.

There was a country festival nearby. We were not there for that reason. Throughout the craziness and increased security, our trip was not affected. The people at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We had a few requests and the fact that they were at full capacity didn’t hurt their welcoming hospitality.

The check in was challenging due to calling ahead to confirm joining rooms but another front desk staff member took the room off block to give to someone else. When another front desk member saw the issue on the computer he corrected the matter appropriately and we appreciate how it was corrected.

This is a well maintained oceanfront hotel. Our suite was clean, spacious and appealing on arrival. The space is definitely designed with families in mind (access to bathroom via bedroom AND living room). Would appreciate more hooks in the space for wet beach gear. Beds were fairly comfortable. Balcony is small, but nice to have. Service was all around poor. Cleo, at the front desk, was incredibly rude. Not sure how someone that rude is still employed in a customer service capacity. Room refresh is completed every other day. This isn’t enough for beach-going families with children. We also only received one room refresh for our entire 5 day stay. Requested fresh towels 7 pm one evening, never received, even by the next morning (was told they would be “right up.”) The water pressure in the shower was very, very bad. There wasn’t enough pressure to even knock the loose sand that fell from our suits, down the drain. Not sure if we would stay again.

The hotel is really nice. Breakfast options are great but the lady running the breakfast stand has an attitude and is irritated by people crowding the area. I requested everyday housekeeping (upon request) as I was traveling with children and even went to the front desk on our way out but was not done, had to go back to them for towels and toilet paper.

Property is in a good location with lots of good dining options within walking distance. This seemed to be a quiter area of the boardwalk which we liked. We had a great experience. My family and I stayed for four days. The staff was helpful, friendly, patient and polite. The breakfast was fresh each day. The food at Dunes restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious. Parking was free and available. Shopping, outside restaurants and the beach was only a few steps away. Sahara, Crystal and Q made us feel right at home while addressing any concerns or questions. Crystal addressed questions about parking weeks before we arrived. She also changed our room when our bathroom has issues. Sahara was the best part of our dinner experience each evening with her delightful personality. Q was insightful and helped me understand how Marriott Membership works. We will come back again. The only areas of opportunity were the grits were under cooked and the oatmeal was watery. Other than that five stars for me.
