Miramar Hotel Spa & Apartments

Accueil très agréable même avec une arrivée très tardive, petit déjeuner copieux et varié , chambre, draps et linge de toilette propres, SPA et piscine agréable , Cependant l équipement est un peu vieillissant..et l'absence de parking est tout de même très ennuyeux...

Hotel is in a bad location, spa is “under construction” which was not disclosed until check in. Room smells terrible, like mould or mildew,the shower head was spraying out the handle and the pool was dirty. I’m not a complainer, this was just a very below average hotel.

Les installations sont très très vieilles. La piscine pas très propre mais bon des enfants qui jouent a se jeter leurs claquettes de plage n'aide pas trop. Pas de sécurité de l'hôtel pour rappeler les règles du savoir vivre et des parents qui s'en fiche. Meubles non conforme à un 4 étoile, poubelle des toilettes rouillé. Hôtel assez loin de la plage avec un service d'uniquement 4 navettes par jour, pas assez. Le petit déjeuner est simplement pas bon, jus de fruit horrible loin d'être naturel ou de bonne qualité. J'ai que carrément déçue de cet hôtel. La piscine intérieure c'est aussi payant! C'est dommage.

The view of the lighthouse was great! The restaurant inside is the only restaurant in several blocks and had great food. The parking lot is a block away (private hotel lot) and hope you have a small car cause most streets are one way and very narrow. The neighborhood is very quiet and staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and good quality furniture and beds. The pool pic is from the spa and only 7.50 euros to use and recommended. Hope this helps!

Bémol: - pour le stationnement car peu de places au alentour de l'hôtel - pour le SPA et les douches qui mériterait une bonne rénovation. Le hammam ne fonctionne pas tous les jours, l'eau de la piscine et du jacuzzi est à peine chaude et dans la pièce solarium le plafond est en piteux état. Toutefois l'aces en illimité de 10h à 21h et sans supplément est un réel atout pour cet espace SPA. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

The hotel is a lovely place except I disagree about the car parking. It’s a little bit difficulty to park in the car.😔

Very quiet property with friendly staff. Note, if you drive yourself, you will have to find street parking in very narrow alleys. Beautiful views!

Auch die Getränke in der Minibar völlig überteuert 3,50€ für ein 0.2l Wasser. Kaum Parkplätze in der Nähe. Das positive an dem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter. Die waren alle super lieb und hilfsbereit.

The views are wonderful. The property is dated and needs a refresh. The room was musty. The first time I took a shower, water flooded the room - the shower, toilet and sink set up bwas weird.

Péssima!!! Tenho fotografias da janela do quarto estragada por onde entrava muito frio. Não recebi o quarto que solicitei. E o cheiro do hotel é péssimo. Os funcionários pouco atenciosos.

This property is more in line with a Super 8 hotel than a spa/resort. It appears it has not been updated in 30 years. The carpet is stained and dirty. The walls are dirty. The furnishings in the room are something you would find in the 80's. All of this would be fine if that is how you would describe the hotel but it is advertised as a spa/resort. This was a very disappointing experience.

Das Miramar Hotel& Spa in Nazare hat definitiv bessere Zeiten gesehen. Schon von außen fällt die ungepflegte Fassade auf. Die Flure zu den Zimmern in Holzoptik sind sehr dunkel. Die in den Fluren vorhandenen Teppiche sind schmutzig und fleckig. Die Zimmer sind heruntergekommen, Möbel abgestoßen, nur mäßig geputzt, das Fenster ließ sich nur unter größeren Anstrengungen öffnen. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls in die Jahre gekommen, an einigen Stellen zeigten sich erste Schimmelflecken. Haarshampoo und Duschgel waren nur in kleinen Einmalfläschchen vorhanden. Der im Spa vorhandene Indoor Pool hättet nur gegen extra Gebühr besucht werden können. Im Zimmer stand am ersten Tag eine Karaffe mit Wasser, die leider am zweiten Tag nicht erneut aufgefüllt wurde. Statt Gläsern gab es in Plastik eingepackte Papierbecher für das Trinkwasser. Der Pool, dessen Lage mit Blick auf den Atlantik wirklcih schön ist, war verschmutzt und hätte einer dringenden Reinigung bedurft. Die Liegen, Handtücher konnten an der Rezeption abgeholt werden, waren teilweise sehr alt. Alle Liege zeigten große Flecken von Vogelkot, der offensichtlich nie entfernt und abgeputzt wurde. Frühstück im fensterlosen Raum war in Ordnung aber eher lieblos. Auch hier viel Einzelverpackungen (Marmelade, Honig, Nutella, Butter), das einzige von sieben Unterkünften (inklusive Gästehäusern) in einem zweiwöchigen Rundtrip) ohne frischgepressten O-Saft! Personal geschäftsmäßig freundlich ohne besonderes Interesse an den Gästen. W

The bed was hard as a rock, and the room was dingy, and our window looked out right to the entrance so wecould hear every car that pulled up in every person that got out. Then early in the morning they started unloading trucks about 3 feet from our window. Also, the location is is away from the beacha long ways, we are hikers, but it’s really not conducive to walking..

This property is just old. Nothing bad to say about the staff or cleanliness, I'm sure it's as clean as they can get it but it's an old property and very outdated decor etc. I was just expecting more comfort from the rating and reviews I read. Breakfast was good.

Our stay at Miramar was okay. If you are looking to book this property look at the price, not the star rating. While it's a 4-star hotel, there were corners cut (and in some odd places too), but knowing the low price we paid it is understandable. The restaurant looked fancy, staff was well-dressed, but the food was just mediocre. The bathroom had a high-pressure shower, but a tiny shower curtain so water got everywhere. While these small details aren't deal breakers, if you're expecting a high-end hotel experience you may be left feeling jilted.

I stayed for the view. The furniture makes IKEA look good. Super inconvenient location and no parking, but was able park on street.

It was a very nice experience. Vies are breathtaking. Service is excellent. Very clean and safe.

No parking! Had to scramble on tight streets for a spot! I stayed in apartment. I have a bad hip! No help with luggage! I had to struggle with suitcases over cobblestone streets to get to apartment I rented! Then had to lug my suitcases up a long flight of steps on my own!!!!!! These issues aside… the room was WONDERFUL, second only to the SPECTACULAR million dollar view. I could stayed there for ever!!!!!!!! I loved, loved, loved the room!

Friendly and very helpful staff. We had a problem with our rental car, that had nothing to do with the hotel and the staff and transport driver were extremely helpful and very accommodating, going far beyond their jobs, in helping us navigate our rental car problem. We highly recommended this hotel & spa for its great customer service!! Dinner at the property, while the sun was setting was excellent. Their wait staff was very attentive. Brunch in the morning was delicious! We will be back!

Concierge not professional very limited never explained about the spa always busy on the phone. The room was old and very basic a bottle of water only the first day then if you want water smother one in your room you have to pay 3 euros. Carpet in the hallways were dirty with stains and wood walls in a very bad shape. The shower gel bump did not work for 2 days never fixed.Finally the 3rd day gave me another bottle.The restaurant has a very nice view. Hotel is far from the center and the beach.I don’t think this is a 4 star hotel.

The property was good. Located far from the center and one has to depend on Uber. Hotel restaurant has some excellent views. Front desk staff are relatively inexperienced and wanting in courtesy, which is vital in a hospitality industry.

The staff Peter was unresponsive and rude. We got out of there as quick as we could. Parking was a nightmare and quite he was also

I chose this hotel for proximity to Fatima Shrine and of course the spectacular Nazare coastline. The view from the hotel is AMAZING. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Receptionist was amazing and the whole staff was very service oriented. The training room is just 4 old machines, so dont get your hopes up for a training. Outdoor Pool was super nice 😊 We didn’t use the restaurant but seemed nice. The sunset from the swing was magical.

Great hotel and staff!! Nice pool and great view of Nazaré. Restaurant was excellent and drinks were great too!! Word of caution though…it’s at least a 15 minute walk to the beach on the downhill and 25 on the return uphill!!

It is an excellent hotel with great amenities and a breathtaking view of the ocean. The service was great. The room was large, the food and service at the restaurant was wonderful and they were very helpful with local recommendations.

The views from the grounds and restaurant were spectacular. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Staff were friendly.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und abgenützt. Das Frühstück mit kleiner Auswahl wird in einem fensterlosen Saal eingenommen. Das dazugehörige Restaurant ist schmuddelig und die Karte weist eine Auswahl von 4 Hauptgerichten auf. Die Aussicht aber ist unbezahlbar! Das Hotel hat nicht mehr als 2-3 Sterne verdient.

The best and only thing that is really nice about this property is the view. Property has limited service, no help with luggage. Breakfast is mediocre at best and served in a no view location. So instead of enjoying the amazing view you sit in a windowless space. Pool is old and my kids left after 5min saying there was so much chlorine in the water that they could not handle it.
