Excellent hotel and location walking distance to everything. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative is the parking. If you are driving make a parking reservation with the hotel. Otherwise you will be parking, possibly a couple of miles away. We were visiting during August it was very busy. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Breakfast was very good. Lots to do in Nazaré.

Bel hôtel, très bien placé, bien décoré dans le hall. Les chambres sont agréables. Le petit déjeuner est bon et l’amplitude horaire est appréciable. Le parking est gratuit. Deux bémols : découvrir que le parking est assez éloigné et au bout d’une côte (aucun souci pour nous mais peut-être serait il adapté de prévenir car tout le monde ne peut pas grimper une telle côte). Par ailleurs, les chambres sont assez mal insonorisées. On sera ravis de venir malgré ces deux points.

Super hôtel, très très bien situé.Les chambres sont un peu petites mais très correct. Tout était parfait sauf que pour le stationnement c'est vraiment décevant car il est à presque 1km et en Monté alors pour aller chercher la voiture le lendemain c'est tout un périple.

Great location. If you want to be in an area around the beach, shopping and many restaurants this is a great choice. Parking provided is not located close to hotel. Staff are great and accommodated our requests. Would rate it a 3 star, however, but that does not mean i would not stay there again.

The hotel itself is fine, but the parking situation was terrible. Closest parking we could fine was a 15 minute walk from the hotel. I would not stay here again for this reason.

We stayed here for the second time and it was lovely. It’s a lovely hotel in the heart of Nazare. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. Views from the balconies is so beautiful. Also, if you’re driving in, they have parking available at a lot close by. Would definitely visit again!

We loved the location of this hotel, and its walkability and proximity to all the local attractions and beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the morning breakfast was tasty. The only negative is the fact that the bed was a double mattress and felt very small.

The Hotel Mare was in an excellent location to everything, except their parking lot which was a considerable walk up the hill, about 1/2 km or more. The hotel was modern and the room large with a great balcony overlooking the main town square. The only drawback was the functionality of the room. Not a lot of thought had gone into the comfort for the guest. While the beds were good there was no space for any clothing. No place to put anything except on the floor. The bathroom was even worse. A sink with a 6" counter around the edge. No shelves for toiletries or anything. Basically we had to either dump everything on the floor or live out of our suitcase for our whole stay. They need to add a dresser with drawers and night table and some space in the bathroom with shelves or something. If they had these simple things in place then it would be very good. The staff were good but especially the ladies that took care of breakfast who were outstanding.

Extremely nice and helpful staff, location is a very good one too. The only disappointment is that on the days prior to new years eve the bars in the area are allowed to be open till 0300 hrs with loud blaring music, making it impossible to sleep ! Totally unacceptable for the Major to allow this !

The staff were amazing. The location was perfect, off the bustle of the beach, but so close to walk to it. Lots of good food nearby, and a great breakfast at the hotel every morning. Will stay here again.

Local streets were cloed due to emergency construction but the hotel went out of its way to make sure that we were able to get to a location even though we had some difficulty navigating the area. Front desk personnel went over and above.

This is a great place to stay for an introduction to Nazare. Lots of dining options and cocktail bars in walking distance. It is also a short walk to the funicular that takes you to the top of the cliffs to see the church and lighthouse.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Nazare with an excellent location next to the beautiful central town square and a one minute walk from the beach. Our favourite part was the amazing breakfast room on the top floor with glass walls giving you a nearly 360 degree view of the town and ocean below and the cliffs to the one side. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

Hotel Mare was great. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was fine & the balcony a real plus. Best of all was the bountiful and tasty breakfast included. We recommend Hotel Mare without reservation!

We loved the location of this hotel, and its walkability and proximity to all the local attractions and beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the morning breakfast was tasty. The only negative is the fact that the bed was a double mattress and felt very small.

Hotel a due passi dal mare, quindi comodissimo. Camera dignitosa, ma con piccolo terrazzino. Posizione strategica, sia dalla spiaggia che dai ristoranti. Considerato che parcheggiare a Nazare’ e’ davvero difficoltoso, il parcheggio disponibile è stato un di più molto apprezzato. Il personale molto cordiale e disponibile. La colazione viene servita all’ultimo piano dove si gode della vista sul mare … Bel soggiorno

The staff were amazing. The location was perfect, off the bustle of the beach, but so close to walk to it. Lots of good food nearby, and a great breakfast at the hotel every morning. Will stay here again.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Nazare with an excellent location next to the beautiful central town square and a one minute walk from the beach. Our favourite part was the amazing breakfast room on the top floor with glass walls giving you a nearly 360 degree view of the town and ocean below and the cliffs to the one side. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

Bel hôtel, très bien placé, bien décoré dans le hall. Les chambres sont agréables. Le petit déjeuner est bon et l’amplitude horaire est appréciable. Le parking est gratuit. Deux bémols : découvrir que le parking est assez éloigné et au bout d’une côte (aucun souci pour nous mais peut-être serait il adapté de prévenir car tout le monde ne peut pas grimper une telle côte). Par ailleurs, les chambres sont assez mal insonorisées. On sera ravis de venir malgré ces deux points.

Bring earplugs if you stay on a weekend... There was loud club music until 2am. Also, our room had a broken balcony door, so the door would not fully shut, which they made no effort to fix.
