It is for those who likes old times design and atmosphere, furniture and bathroom with separated hot and cold water taps. But everything is very clean. The view through the window is amazing. The beach is awesome, waves are incredible. No parking space at all, I had to drive 3 circles and finally left the car 7 mins walk away.

O local onde o hotel esta instalado é muito bem localizado mas, o hotel deixa a desejar demais. Não tem elevador, a escada de Madeira oferece perigo devido a ser Em curva e os hóspedes tem que subir até 3 andares carregando suas malas.

The attendant was mad because we arrived at 8pm, he said checkin was until 7pm and he was about to check me as absent. He was extremely rude and made me feel terrible. The information said check in until 12 It’s a great location but there is not parking or elevator

Impossible de se garer, nous étions garés trés loin. Et place payante ,il faut retourner toutes les 3 heure pour remettre un ticket. Chambre éxigué, 3 éme sur ruelle, avec un sabos dans la SDB presque inaccessible voire dangereuse risque de chute, fenêtre donnant sur les fenêtres de l hôtel en face vis à vis de ouf.. , bruyant avec le personnel qui est en permanence dans la ruelle le passage des poubelles à toutes heures. Trés bruyant . Musique jusqu a 2 h du mat insonorisation zéro. Nuit atroce . Et super chère pour la prestation.

They did not clean the room or change towels. The beds are not confortable. Very well located, by the beach. Breakfast ok. Very noisy neighborhood and since there is no air conditioning we have the windows open.

We stayed in a room on the side of the building. An ocean view would have been amazing, but we kept the window open all night and could hear the waves crashing. The room is small, but clean, comfortable, quiet, and we had a great sleep!! This room met all our needs! Very friendly service and we felt welcomed!

The thoughtfulness of the staff was wonderful! I had forgotten that the reception area closed at 6. John called at four to remind me, and when I got lost a few blocks from the hotel, he guided me effortlessly. It is an older hotel, but clean, comfortable and welcoming. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay!

Would have liked it if there was ac or fan in the room so you could close the window to drown out the constant noise of cars scooters and people talking and screaming. The hotel is in the path of people walking home from a club. Very noisy until 4 am. When it is hot you cannot close the window and there is no window coverings to block out the bright street lights. Do not stay unless you are able to sleep through all of these issues.

The shower is unbelievably small & so outdated. The toilet is also really snug in the bathroom & overall needs a lot of updating. There’s tons of noise that comes from the street, no matter if the window is shut or not. Reception was good and welcoming but otherwise probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The staff was excellent.. The man at the reception desk during the day was great and humorous. He was very friendly and helpful. The room 111 was facing the beach with a deck.. the room was great but from the old era, we loved it!! It was close to everything..We recommend it.

This is an older hotel with tons of character. Small basic rooms, gorgeous view, open air windows with wonderful sea breezes. No AC needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a basic breakfast included, but their lunches and dinners were outstanding. John (Joao) was fantastic as our waiter. We loved our stay at Ribamar!

Un seul interet : la vue , la chambre tres vieillotte, avec une porte fenetre qui fermait mal d où un bruit assourdissant des vagues et du vent. De plus en mars, une couverure ridicule pour l été. Nuit tres agitée à avoir froid. Mais la vue...à couper le souffle ( surtout un jour de tempete!!!)

La chambre au-dessus de nous était en rénovation durant notre séjour, forte odeur... Dommage car la localisation est exceptionnelle.

Wonderful stay at Ribamar. The staff is extremely friendly and made our stay enjoyable! Especially Jose, who greated us with great kindness! The room was beautiful, very authentic and clean. We had a corner room on the second floor and enjoyed the beach view splendedly. We will be coming back to Ribamar and stay for longer!

Love this ocean front quaint hotel. Location is perfect and close to the funicular. Great value! My suggestion to the hotel staff would be to clearly post restaurant schedule/availability for your off-season guests (not the same as what is advertised or posted in the room door). Also communicate when the front desk will be staffed and how to reach staff when there is no one at the desk. Great little hotel!

It is for those who likes old times design and atmosphere, furniture and bathroom with separated hot and cold water taps. But everything is very clean. The view through the window is amazing. The beach is awesome, waves are incredible. No parking space at all, I had to drive 3 circles and finally left the car 7 mins walk away.

Besides a leak from the above room that dripped onto my bathroom floor, it was excellent: shampoo, nice towels, firm bed, and the ocean view!!!! Couldn't ask for a better location. Staff are great. Parking for free? A bit of a hike straight uphill (* but i like exploring!)

Would have liked it if there was ac or fan in the room so you could close the window to drown out the constant noise of cars scooters and people talking and screaming. The hotel is in the path of people walking home from a club. Very noisy until 4 am. When it is hot you cannot close the window and there is no window coverings to block out the bright street lights. Do not stay unless you are able to sleep through all of these issues.

Great location opposite beach. Friendly staff. If traveling by car drop off and pickup allowed in reserved spot in front of hotel. Free parking available off site in public carparks. Note: no elevator, if that’s a concern. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.

Emplacement idéal face à la mer et près des activités. Possibilité d’avoir un petit déjeuner mais pas varié: croissances, pain, tranches de jambon et de fromages. Pour un végétarien pas de choix. Très propre mais vieux et pas d’ascenseur. Manque de pression dans l’évier de la salle de bain pour eau chaude.

They did not clean the room or change towels. The beds are not confortable. Very well located, by the beach. Breakfast ok. Very noisy neighborhood and since there is no air conditioning we have the windows open.

This is an older hotel with tons of character. Small basic rooms, gorgeous view, open air windows with wonderful sea breezes. No AC needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. Localização excelente, porém o quarto é bem pequeno, a vita parcial Do mar era irrisória, o banheiro tinha um box que mal dava pra se mexer dentro dele, o chuveiro era péssimo, não tinha ar condicionado, a janela era devassada para o Outro prédio e a cortina não estava funcionando. Outra vantagem era q se vc pedir água eles fornecem gratuitamente porém ninguém avisa. Descobri pq pedi pra comprar e o rapaz me deu dizendo q estava incluída no preço. Fiquei no segundo andar, estava com o pé machucado com bota ortopédica e ninguém pode me ajudar a levar as malas até o apto pq disseram q este serviço não estava incluído na estadia. Café da manhã médio!!!

We stayed in a room on the side of the building. An ocean view would have been amazing, but we kept the window open all night and could hear the waves crashing. The room is small, but clean, comfortable, quiet, and we had a great sleep!! This room met all our needs! Very friendly service and we felt welcomed!

The thoughtfulness of the staff was wonderful! I had forgotten that the reception area closed at 6. John called at four to remind me, and when I got lost a few blocks from the hotel, he guided me effortlessly. It is an older hotel, but clean, comfortable and welcoming. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay!
