Das Hotel gibt sich als 4 Sterne Haus aus. Warum sind denn meheitlich alle Möbel zerkratzt. Türen die Klemen. Fenster die undicht sind. Schade Lage und Architektur wären gut. Bar und Restaurant im 4. Stock glänzen durch die Aussicht aber nicht durch ein gemütliches Ambiente.

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and tidy. The areas outside the hotel were in need of a little love. Weeds growing on paths. The pool didn’t look very clear and needed clean. There is a gap between the deck on the pool where it drops several feet that looks like a serious accident waiting to happen. Pool beds have seen better days. The rooms were a great size as was the bathroom. The views were fantastic. Breakfast was buffet, 3 hot items, selection of meat,cheese, fruit, breads, cakes and cereal. Several drinks machines. The road to the hotel is not great, it is tarmac’d but is littered with some very serious potholes. I blew a tyre one night. The hotel has a generator and was not affected by the recent power outage. Everything said, we enjoyed our time in the hotel and would stay here again.

Malgré une arrivée tardive le personnel a fait le necessaire pour nous permettre de diner. Tres belle vue des chambres et de la salle à manger. Petit dejeuner tres correct. Parking sans probleme dans et devant l hôtel. Seul bemol un peu loin du centre ville mais il existe une navette gratuite.

Directions to hotel were difficult, parking was limited, room had no available outlet for coffee/hot water carafe or desk lamp and bar menu/food was terrible. Otherwise, hotel was attractive with beautiful views and friendly staff.

Pros -Very clean, easy parking. Cons - No outlet in the bathroom. No free outlets in the entire room. Couldn't hear the tv. A wonderful restaurant was advertised but only thing that was served was a bad buffet for 25 eu that did not incude drinks. The second night we ate at the pool bar, but had a very limited menu and they closed at 2000hrs. We were looking forward to the restaurant, but since the only thing available is a buffet, we will not stay here again. We will stay at hotels with a restaurant or at least within walking distance. This hotel is not in walking distance to anything.

Set above Nazaré with lovely views. Rooms are big and modern as is hotel. Nice pool area and roof terrace. All rooms have a balcony and sea view due to being up high. It’s about 40 min walk into town and I did it a lot, it’s really straightforward or there is a free shuttle bus if you don’t want to walk. There was a mini bar which was great, but as the fridge goes off when you take the keys out drinks are never cold. I asked for some ice to chill my wine and was told they had to charge, but would make an exception. I find that odd for a 4 star hotel that you can’t have some ice for free? It was out of season which maybe why the pool area was a little shabby. Lots of weeds between the paving slabs and pool wasn’t clean, pool bar was also shut. Breakfast was functional but a welcome start to the day. If it’s not in your room rate I wouldn’t pay for it though.

O quarto tinha linda vista do mar com varanda, pequeno almoço variado e bem preparado, bela decoração e pátio de estacionamento. Uma agradável piscina aquecida que requer que você compre uma touca de 3€, outra coisa muito estranha lhe cobram 7,50€ por taça emprestada no quarto! E se dizem 4 estrelas, imperdoável. Preferi comprar taças de vinho no mercado por 1,50€ cada. Estava comemorando meu aniversário de casamento. Uma lástima!

Wir waren 1 Nacht im Miramar. Frühstück sehr gut, vielfältig. Distanz zum Strand 30-40 Minuten zu Fuss. Poollandschaft sehr schön. Zimmer war sehr sauber, etwas in die Jahre gekommen! Aber alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt auf der Höhe in Nazaré 😊

Bed are hard and old, pillows are very flat, no handles for the towels in the bathroom, the electrical cord for the kettle was very short to connect to the outlet so it was impossible to prepare coffee, the entrainment channels on the TV are less than 10, they only gave us 1 key for the room and the light of the room was always connected to the key meaning that I had to wake up or stand up to turn off the lights , AC unit was blowing ONLY hot air. Please don't go there. That hotel is not a 4 star. I will give them 2 stars only. In Location- 1 star. Bad decision

The hotel had a beautiful view of Nazare from the hillside. We were given an upgrade which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious with a nice deck. We enjoyed the breakfast.

Staff was super friendly but several negative points stand out. Buffet at supper was overpriced and everything was cold, even the soup (fyi we arrived at opening time). No towels left after cleaning only to be dropped off later in the afternoon but small hand towels not shower towels. Finally the mattress was very hard, uncomfortable for my liking.

Les chambres sont confortables, néanmoins la climatisation est très bruyante. La salle de restaurant et le bar manquent de chaleur, spécialement la nuit. Les éclairages sont fades. 13€ pour un bonnet de bain obligatoire, c’est rendre la piscine payante.

The hotel staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The room that we had was stunning and overlooked not only the pool but Nazare beach and town. We went to to the hotel restaurant for dinner which was a buffet including wine, beer or San Gria. The food and drink was outstanding and the maître de Luis Monteiro was efficient and friendly. When we arrived at the hotel they sent to our room a fruit basket, two mini bottles of port and tarts. Very impressed with their presentation to new guests. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Nazare.

Staff was super friendly but several negative points stand out. Buffet at supper was overpriced and everything was cold, even the soup (fyi we arrived at opening time). No towels left after cleaning only to be dropped off later in the afternoon but small hand towels not shower towels. Finally the mattress was very hard, uncomfortable for my liking.

Set above Nazaré with lovely views. Rooms are big and modern as is hotel. Nice pool area and roof terrace. All rooms have a balcony and sea view due to being up high. It’s about 40 min walk into town and I did it a lot, it’s really straightforward or there is a free shuttle bus if you don’t want to walk. There was a mini bar which was great, but as the fridge goes off when you take the keys out drinks are never cold. I asked for some ice to chill my wine and was told they had to charge, but would make an exception. I find that odd for a 4 star hotel that you can’t have some ice for free? It was out of season which maybe why the pool area was a little shabby. Lots of weeds between the paving slabs and pool wasn’t clean, pool bar was also shut. Breakfast was functional but a welcome start to the day. If it’s not in your room rate I wouldn’t pay for it though.

Fairly dated hotel, location is quite far from the city (car is a necessity). We had a nice, big room and the pool has a fantastic view over Nazaré. Breakfast was great with lots of fresh fruit and bread. Wouldn’t stay here again due to the location.

Nice clean large rooms. Took too long to figure out the air conditioning system so the room was extremely hot for some time. The buffet dinner was average. The 3 nights saty at Miramar Sul were part of a 15 days vacation within Portugal. The hotel has a nice view, it is clean, people are friendly and professional. What was a bit disappointing was the buffet supper at the hotel, we enjoyed more the bar with Manuel. Also, you need a car to go around, it is not at walking distance from the main attractions. However, it is worth to stay here, we will stay again in the future

Pros -Very clean, easy parking. Cons - No outlet in the bathroom. No free outlets in the entire room. Couldn't hear the tv. A wonderful restaurant was advertised but only thing that was served was a bad buffet for 25 eu that did not incude drinks. The second night we ate at the pool bar, but had a very limited menu and they closed at 2000hrs. We were looking forward to the restaurant, but since the only thing available is a buffet, we will not stay here again. We will stay at hotels with a restaurant or at least within walking distance. This hotel is not in walking distance to anything.

Très satisfait de l'ensemble. Le personnel poli et agréable. Le déjeuner très bon, frais et varié. Le souper également surtout avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. On a pu prendre de bonnes marches à l'air frais à l'extérieur. Un endroit qui nous semble très sécuritaire. Je recommande cet hôtel. Les prix nous semblaient très adéquats.

What a stay!! We travel Europe and USA extensively. I have to say this was the most comfortable stay we have ever experienced. The Lobby was comfortable and the staff welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable. The view from the room was second to none. The restaurant staff was first class. I could go on and on but you get the idea. We really hated to leave. The hotel management and staff should be very proud of themselves.

Unfortunately not very well maintained property. It has great views of the beach but amenities were falling apart. It is also a bit isolated from the rest of the town, so driving is your best option if you are staying here. In the positive side, there is parking onsite and free breakfast that was half decent.
