Hotel Praia

I paid extra for a room with a balcony and the balcony basically ended up being on a rooftop where all you could see was garbage/back of other buildings. Got switched to a smaller room with a nice view thanks to staff but the other balcony view should be on expedias listing so people are aware of what they could get. Also, you need to have a swim cap for the pool so make sure to bring one because it’s 4 euros per swim cap there.

Great, clean, spacious room. The bed was comfortable and we liked how there were doors to separate the spaces for privacy. The buffet breakfast has many delicious options. We didn't like that to use the pool we were required to buy swimming caps for each person at 4.5 euros each.

Zentral gelegen. Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück. Parkhaus ist allerdings eher für kleine Autos gedacht, da es sehr eng ist.

Excellent location, great breakfast, and very friendly staff. The hotel offers on-site parking (for a fee), but spaces can be limited and parking may require some maneuvering, especially if you have a larger vehicle.

Definitely a "beach" motel with easy access to the ocean and a 20-minute walk into the old, walled town. A very functional hotel with expansive outdoor spaces. No in-room coffee maker or microwave but has a small fridge. The restaurant was good if a bit pricey. Rooftop lounge offers stunning views. The pool was over-chlorinated: wear some swim goggles if you use it.

Clean and modern room. Nice breakfast and the hotel has underground parking for 5 Euros a day which is convenient. Lots of restaurants and souvenir shops all around. Very close to the beach. Improvements: no iron/ironing board, update hair dryer, pool opens at 10 am - should open earlier for morning swims, need to wear a swim cap to use pool

Great location, beautiful hotel with an awesome rooftop pool. Market across the street with local meats, cheese, breads and fruit. Loved Nazare!

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und hatte bequeme Betten. Genügend Auswahl beim Frühstück. Es wurde stets nachgefüllt. Sehr schöne Dachterrasse mit Pool (den man nur mit Badehaube benutzen darf). Für 5€ pro Nacht kann das Parkhaus benutzt werden (spannend mit größeren Fahrzeugen, da sehr eng). Wir kommen gerne wieder ...

Good location, friendly staff, morning breakfast has a gluten free section. Stayed in a suite a few floors up and it was very quiet. Pool was heated and nice as well.

Parking is on-site and convenient for 7€ per day. The garage is tight but there are levels. Check-in was quick and smooth. We were given info about the hotel, and also told our room was one of the best, so we were eager to see it. We were on the 5th floor where the sun deck and swimming pool are located. Unfortunately, our keycard wouldn’t work for our room, so a nice Housekeeper let us in when I showed her our room assignment. The room seemed very clean and bright with a great view of the ocean from the balcony, but we couldn’t ignore that there was a strong odour that smelled like mouldy water or vomit coming from the carpet/flooring. It also smelled like vanilla perfume or essential oil was sprayed next to the entrance in an attempt to mask the smell, but we were so tired and hungry from the drive that we decided to eat first and address the room later. When we returned from lunch, the Manager re-programmed our keycard, which still didn’t work, so my partner went back down to reception to ask for a completely new card and also complain about the smell in the room, which they then sent a Concierge up with him to test the key and confirm the smell. Inez (Concierge) was very sweet and confirmed her card worked but ours didn’t, and once she smelled the room, she advised she would have another room ready for us whenever we wanted. We went back out for dinner and upon our return, Inez had keys for the new room already prepared. She was amazing! Breakfast was great as well.

Great location and quiet. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We have stayed at this hotel twice now and it will be our hotel of choice when we visit Nazaré!

Everything is very nice here. Very much a beach property…. Meaning, it is hard to keep a beach property super clean and nice, and they really do a good job. It’s very nice, but the shower leaked all over the floors and got our things wet.

Best thing about this hotel is the location. 2 minute walk to the beach and lots of restaurants close by. The onsite underground parking is also a plus. The staff are very nice as well. The rooms themselves are unremarkable. Spacious and clean but, very average. The common areas were not quite as clean. The staircase I used to go up and down to our floor had the same dirt and hair on it for the whole two day stay. I wouldn't call this a 4 star hotel. 3 at best.

Bon hôtel dans l’ensemble. La chambre se détériore un peu: le tapis de la chambre est plutot laid et taché, le pommeau de douche était décollé à notre arrivée. Mais le service était accueillant et rapide . Le lit était confortable et l’air climatisé fonctionnait bien. Le déjeuner était assez bien.

Stort ljust rum med fin utsikt. Komfortabla sängar. Nespressomaskinen på rummet gav ljummen dryck. Wifin fungerade inte på rummet. Hade önskat möjlighet att torka handdukarna. Fin frukt vid frukosten och bra kaffe på närliggande cafe. Hotellet bra läge o prisvärt!

The rooms do need some updating. TV was so small. No water pressure. No plug for a phone on the night stand. In all it was fine. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were super nice.

Basic and sparsely decorated room, but spacious. Typical tour group hotel in perfect location right at the beach. Excellent breakfast. Big let down: the pool. Though the feature photo the roof was dirty and inside heated up like a greenhouse. And don't bring anything but a compact car. The garage is very tricky to navigate without damage to the vehicle. Overall a pleasant stay, better than the initial impression.

Our room was clean and spacious. Fun beach themed decor. Loved our balcony overlooking the street and a view of the ocean. Enjoyed wine and snacks on the balcony in the evening. Great buffet breakfast included. 1 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach!!

Staff was super. Especially the gentleman in charge of the bar and breakfast.

The property and room was exceptional. Upon arrival, Julicia at the front desk was a breath of fresh air and quite accommodating. She is the reason people come back to properties. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Even though I missed breakfast in the morning, they were accommodating to provide me coffee and pastries my sister and I look forward to returning next year.

Friendly staff and the most comfortable beds to sleep in at this establishment. Room is cozy and quiet, so with the outside noise going on during Carnival I was still able to sleep soundly. Will book again next time I’m here. Thank you Hotel Praia!

Under staff costumer service with busy phone line making you wait wait for everything. WARNING: If you have kids and they want to use swimming pool, please bring swimming caps otherwise you will be forced to buy at front desk 4.5 euros each, surprised? Us too! Upon ask where hotel website disclosed info, they decided to give us for free, thank you! Parking? Underground and tiny spots make it nightmare. Also, don’t remember seeing charges for parking but there is 5 euros per nite. Last, we were not lucky and someone or some house outside our room walls were doing construction and for the whole day, the noise killed our mood. We spoke to the front desk about it but they simple said: “it’s not us” deal with it. Good luck with you trip

Excellent location 1 block from beach. Very nice staff that go above & beyond. Fabulous buffet breakfast, with super helpful waiter who will make omelette on demand, show you how to use the espresso machines, etc.

We loved Nazare !! It was our favorite stop in all of Portugal! And this hotel is the absolute BEST EVER !! Parking is only $7.00 a night which is awesome because parking in Nazare can be difficult... breakfast was delicious! The rooftop deck was wonderful with a great view and relaxing sun chairs...but most if all...the staff was absolutely amazing here !! Would definitely go back !

We have stayed for 9 dias at Hotel Praia. We got very good service since the first day. When we got there late at night the front desk officer helped us to get a "diner" from the restaurant which was almost closing. The other front desk officer (lady) was very helpfull to guide us how to buy tickets and how to get to the busstation. We took the bus to both Lisbon and Porto. The staff of the Breakfast area were very kind & friendly. Jose was friendly and gives us some good tips. :-) The room was very clean and comfortable. We could walk in 3 minutes from the hotel to the beach area. We are glad we stayed in Nazare. A quiet and safe place.

Great location one half block from the Nazarè beach. Lots of great restaurants and shopping. Modern hotel. Parking garage is very tight. Would not recommend for a large car. Excellent and friendly check in.

This hotel is wonderful! The staff was so helpful. The location is great and the roof top has beautiful views of the ocean and surrounded areas. The rooms were spacious with enough outlets for electronics. The delicious breakfast and parking were included in a very reasonable rate. We highly recommend Hotel Praia.

Perfekt läge,mycket rent. Fantastiskt god och fresh frukost med massor av färsk frukt.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen.Besonders gut die Super Kaffeemaschinen die keine Wünsche offen ließen.
