Great facility—as long as you don’t mind paying $265 to sleep for 6 hours (including your fur babies—$75 charge) We left early the following morning, so weren’t able to take advantage of the free breakfast.

The front desk staff was great, but unfortunately our room was not cleaned properly. The bedding had what appeared to be blood stains on the sheet. The pillows were creased like someone had slept on them and there were clumps of hair on the sheets under the pillows. The front desk staff immediately moved us to another room but it was such a hassle. We were already unpacked with a young child and baby in a crib and had to pack it all up and shuffle down the hall to a clean room. Had it not been for that situation, we would’ve otherwise given 5 stars.

Easy peasy. So quick to check in and the room was perfect. The beds were great and had the best sleep in a long time. Everything was very clean all the way from the check in counters to the dining area.

Noisy air conditioner. No housekeeping after the first day. They gave all the housekeepers off Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We had to take our towels to the desk to exchange for new towels. The pillows were not comfortable. The bed was not comfortable. We had to get trash bags for our trash and we used a roll of toilet paper we brought with us because we were sick of having to ask for things we should not have to ask for and should have been provided for our stay. If we wanted sheets changed the note on the door said to go get sheets at the front desk. Did not seem like a holiday vacation.

While we stayed at the Hampton Inn we observed many good things. Staff greeted with friendly faces, constantly cleaning/sanitizing, building overall seemed very clean. While in our room for 2 people we had a seemingly new king bed which was quite comfortable, TV with good channels and it was spacious. The bathroom had 2 sets of towels per person and room service was fine with us not utilizing their service in our 4 day stay. The carpet in the room was slightly uncomfortable for sensitive feet but it was nothing socks couldn’t fix. Each morning we went to breakfast. Each day the breakfast was slightly different. However breads, cereal, and waffles were available each morning. The price was also quite reasonable considering it was during the holiday season. We would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near Birmingham. Only a little drive to Birmingham areas.

Easy check-in. Room was very clean and comfortable. Amazed how quiet it was, slept very well. Nice to have cooked breakfast, alot of variety to chose from. Entire staff was very friendly and eager to make sure that my stay was pleasant. You can tell that the employees take pride in this hotel. Definitely will be back!! Awesome job to all the staff!!

My overall stay was good until check out. We were all ready to leave the room as check out was at 11am. We had a knock on the door and the worker asked if we were doing a late check out. ( It was 11am on the dot). I said no. We are coming out now. As my guest and I left the room it seemed as if they had the entire management squad in the hallway as if they were expecting a problem or something. Of all my years of hotel stays I’ve never ever experienced this. It was quite odd and embarrassing. Their was actually no need for them to do that. None what so ever.
