Someone had either thrown up or out the other end onto the wall that wasn’t cleaned up. The toilet tub and sink were clean but hair and dust on edges of floor and onboards along with tags from items left by a previous guest and the carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed. The bed was super comfortable and clean. The pool was chilly but clean and lots of towels. Staff and breakfast options were great.

The room was very nice. But trying to go swimming was a big disappointment. We purchased this hotel for the purpose of the pool. But it wasn't worth risking my child's safety to go swimming. A lot of unattended children in the pool and my child left crying due to having to leave the pool area. We had to leave because the other children were running my kids over and knocking into my child while he was on the stairs.

We'd stayed at another Marriott extended-stay property just before this one with excellent evals. This property was not quite as roomy although still adequate. The other property's kitchenette was fully equipped. This one had a couple plates and cups, no glasses, no knives / forks / spoons, no cooking utensils. Staff indicated they were trying to get corporate approval to order more. Gas grill on patio outside pool was nice.

Not too impressed but it was okay. They dont do full cleaning everyday. Its always every other day unless you make a request for it to be done everyday. Otherwise its just taking garbage out everyday. The renovation is overdue for sure! The spring bed was almost broken but I survived! Kitchen was fully operational which is what I needed the most. Both Elevators were out of the service for the whole week and im sure they still have mot fixed them yet! I specifically looked for bwd bugs did not find any to my surprise otherwise it would have been a disaster and I would have checked out immediately. Can not rule out checking for bed bugs given its current condition.

The place is very moldy. Room 132 constant runny nose headache had a bug crawl on me the bathrooms were gross. Long Hair strands everywhere we transferred to another room and the bathroom was extremely unhealthy the tub was so grimey again very long black strands of hair all over the floor in bathroom and counter. When you leave and come back in the room its so musty the carpets were gross too. A lot of vagrants hanging around the outside of the building. The staff was mostly helpful and friendly but this place needs a complete overhaul in cleaning. We never got to use the swimming pool it was closed because some pooped in it.

Fleas in the bed, torn curtains, elevators stopped working, dead batteries on door locks, clogged bathroom drain, clogged air conditioner filters and computer system was down. Could not get receipt for stay and had to call twice to get one sent via email. Overall very disappointed and would not recommend. Not the type of hotel you expect with the Marriott name.

Both yeah cans were unlined and full. The bathroom particularly unsanitary filled with used feminine products. Towel rack broken and under the sink, kitchen virtually empty but the dishwasher filled with dishes. Ice had hairs in it as did the carpet, long blonde ones, neither of us are blonde. Drawer handles in the kitchen were broken, couch soiled. I booked last minute traveling to Chicago and we were too tired to keep driving. I would rather have slept in the car. Front desk gentleman and cleaning person were quick to respond, but they need more help, room was in disrepair and dirty (beds were ok). Hire maintenance and cleaning crews to fix the easy stuff and return the rooms to a state fit for human inhabitants.

The pool had no towels, we were told they are bringing and they never did. The sheets were dirty, the chair in the room looked like someone threw up there. Not a fan on the breakfast either. Wouldn't go there again.

We reserved a suite. The room was ample and that was it. The floors were very dirty. There were hairs on the floor and on the sheets. There were also open containers of cookies in the drawers. The dishwasher had dishes in it. There was no detergent provided for the dishwasher. The extra pillows in the closets had brown stains all over them. Not sure if it was from smokers in the room. The overall cleanliness was really bad. There were potato chips on the floor by the chairs. For what they charge, I would expect it, at least, to be clean. The elevator was dirty and so were the hallways. Marriott needs to pay attention to that hotel and fix things. This is not what I expect from a Marriott hotel.

The room seemed clean but a little outdated. There was no towels only 3 wash clothes. When we called to request some they told us they would be up in 5 minutes. After 30min we called again and they told us we'd have to come down. The room smelled of cheap old man cologne, bed was hard, and there was a stained yellow pillow in the closet. I was afraid to even look at the pillows on the bed.

This was a convenient stay for our qeekend hockey tournament. The AC only ran some of the time amd we would wake in the middle of the night sweaty because the unit wouldnt run to maintain the set temperature. Rooms could use some updating, tvs are small, bathrooms could use some TLC, flooring is stained amd lookong run-down.

Hotel staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming - nice upgrades in the rooms. TVs could be larger, and mattresses feel old/worn. Also there needs to be a ‘constant fan’ on HVAC system. Otherwise it gets deathly quiet

We came for family weekend at WMU and stayed two nights. It was perfect for what we needed. We loved having a full size refrigerator and a kitchen. The hotel is older but still in great shape. We will definitely be back!

Very expensive. We were in a suite; layout nice. However, no ice bucket in our room, when asked at the desk, we were given a zip lock baggie. No cups in the room either; when requested, given paper coffee cup. There was an ironing board, but no iron. Carpet was ripped in center. Very disappointed in amenities; none!

I would like to say this stay was wonderful. Your staff member, Punkin, truly make an impression with us. She was incredible and went above and beyond with her customer service. We stayed in room 104 and 108 and she was amazing for us. We did have to move to room 108 as there was a tv issue but she quickly took care of us. Not to mention best breakfast ever at a hotel. We were very pleased with our stay.

I expected more from the Marriot brand. Our first room was dirty and smelled like smoke. Broken TV, stained couch, grease on the stove, broken furniture. They moved us and the second room was better, but we will not stay again. Experience with staffseemed to change with shift change. Again the stat did improve from the first impression, but I'd expect this from a low budget hotel chain.

Nice property with comfortable well laid out rooms. Tons of storage space. Staff however need some training. Very few times did we see front desk staff, and they actively refused to clean the room on a multi night stay. We have always trusted the Marriott brand to provide a good product and great service, unfortunately we received poor service at this property.

Very old and very poor upkeep. The rooms had cracked and worn out moulding. We requested daily housekeeping on two separate days and had none. We are paying for a clean room every day. If you do not give us any housekeeping on subsequent days, we should receive a discount or lower price for subsequent days. Not cleaning the room daily is dishonest and a sign of poor service. I am never staying at this hotel again. It's a humilation to the Marriott brand.

When I checked in, I had to fill out a paper form because their computer system was down. This included my credit card info and PIN. I was told the system would be down about an hour, after which they would shred the form I filled out. When I checked out the following morning, they still had the form in a stack, unsecured. If my credit card info has been stolen, I’ll know the origin. This is sloppy hotel management. You took me back to the ‘70s, Marriott. You’ve lost a customer.

Stayed in a suite for 3 nights and house cleaning did not come once. Had to ask for towels every night because they weren’t replaced. Room wasn’t necessarily ‘dirty’ but wasn’t squeaky clean. Pull out couch was very thin. Staff was pleasant, but did not go out of their way.

Convenient to freeway, quiet. Windows on whole property looked foggy, never had a clear view. Some cleanliness issues: rips in carpet, under beds did not look vacuumed, some marks/scratches on a lot of furniture, shower curtain still damp when we checked in, a little mild staining on bathtub/curtain/1-2 towels. So we did not feel as clean as we had in other accommodations on this trip. But breakfast was good (especially liked the spinach quiche!) and beds were comfy.
