Albany Merchants Hotel

This isnt the typical hotel most are used to. The single room I had was basically a private bedroom with your own bathroom. Not very big at all. That being said it was very nice, very clean, and the bathroom was updated. They have a deck out back that is pretty nice and a restaurant downstairs that was very good! They aren't open for breakfast which was slightly disappointing but there is an excellent bakery a 5 minute walk to the west, a coffee shop a few minutes to the east, and a catering place to the east of that that serves breakfast from what I seen on Google. Id definitely stay again

This was an adorable location! We loved our stay. The room was great. The check in desk is only open until 8:30 pm but we were delayed. Staff was very accommodating and let us have a contactless check in late with no problems. I was concerned about finding parking before I arrived but it ended up not being an issue. If I was ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here!

Great rooms but no elevator and a step staircase; not a problem for us but something to think about.
