Enjoyed my stay here with my kids. Booked two rooms online, check in and checkout was quick and easy. We mostly just slept, showered, and ate here, and we’re gone all day. Will definitely stay here again. Parking was free and convenient.

It was ok. The staff friendly but not enough parking if the hotel is full and you end up in an overflow field. Breakfast was lukewarm and not enough places to sit if busy. Water was hot, fridge was cold and beds were typical.

Felt so inviting, staff are very friendly, and efficient! They care about their property with cleanliness, flowers & gardens. The coffee in the rooms is delicious. Clean rooms too! Love that they make you feel at home, and the only place that had such a comfortable smoking area with furniture, gazebo and even a bbq! It’s my the road, but with the updated windows, its silent inside the rooms. I would easily stay here again! Good job to the owners & staff!

This was a perfectly good hotel away from the usual hustle and bustle of the city. The layout is a bit idiosyncratic, but I liked that as opposed to all the cookie cutter hotels and rooms I usually stay in. It's by the sky train, but I couldn't hear it with the windows closed at night. Complementary breakfast was better than I expected given what I was led to believe from some other reviews that I read. Parking was especially convenient, just a few steps from the entrance. The only problem I encountered was the nonworking soda/candy machine on my floor, and it took me a while to figure out the operation of the TV. Otherwise, everything was fine. I had a good sleep.

Hotel was acceptable for a two day stay. The elevator was not working one evening and morning so it was a chore getting up and down the multilevelled stairs to the third floor. Not appreciated when the door card not work once you returned to the room.

Hotel is old and generally run down. Air conditioner worked but was very noisy. TV would not connect to any channels. Room was clean but some towels had stains and hallways and stairwells felt run down and dirty.

This hotel is a bit old but the room I had was refurbished nicely. The bed were really comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Wifi worked well. I had a full kitchen as well. I was really nice, I would definitely go back.

Location is about 40 mins from downtown Vancouver. Very far if you’re taking an Uber from the airport. The AC was extremely noisy in our room and alternated between shutting off for about 10 mins and then starting up again for 10 mins. When it shut off the room became hot and when it started up the temperature was way too cold. The noise kept us up at night. Cleanliness- found a couple stray hairs on the shampoo dispensers in the shower when we first arrived. Gross. The hallways also smelled weird, like moldy carpet or something. Service was ok. The original room we booked was not available so they put us in a double queen instead.

We arrived after having been up and going for 13+ hours already. The check in process was quick and easy, but when I got to the room, at the very end of a very long hallway, it was a tiny room with a double bed. We had booked a queen bed and are accustomed to a king bed at home, so it was quite the squeeze. We probably could have gone back to the front desk and requested the proper room, but as I said, it had already been a long day and we only had 1hr for a quick power nap before I had to be at the appointment that we had traveled for. The room was clean and staff was friendly, but it was very disappointing being put into a subpar room that didn't meet the reservation specifications, especially when the vacancy rate was obviously high while we were there.

The bathroom was small and cramped. The pillows on the bed may as well been the spare tires off the car. The were large hard balls of rubber, and were totally uncomfortable and usable resulting in a bad nights sleep. The breakfast was very disappointing and substandard. We will certainly not return to this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. I would like to commend all the staff there. From the front desk check in to the cleaning staff. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and kind! Their customer service was amazing! I will definitely come back again because of this!! Now about the room: the furniture is out dated kind of like has a 1990’s vibe, very vintage but that’s ok. The room was cozy and it suits its purpose. Breakfast was alright nothing fancy but again it fills your belly. Overall we will go back because of the excellent customer service! Thank you!

Customer service was exceptional with friendly and approachable front desk staff. Check in and out was easy. Staff reviewed documents to be signed upon check in in detail so there was no surprises or hidden fees unexplained. Parking is included at no additional fee which is a nice bonus. We hit a newly renovated room wth clean carpets. The bathroom was nice and the linens were white and fresh! Great stay for the value paid.

I liked this property because it was clean the rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast had a variety of foods to eat. the staff were kind and courteous . overall the service was great . I will definitely come back. i choose this hotel as it was close to the venue i was going too . the area around the hotel was good and close to the sky train.

My wife and daughter had a last minute change of plans and needed to stay the night. My wife did not have her wallet so I booked the hotel from Seattle. The guys at the front desk would not let her check in without a physical credit card for the deposit. We tried apple pay, we tried giving them the credit card numbers so they could run it but they held fast and turned her away...for a deposit that they were going to refund in 12 hours! It was the worst customer service experience of our lives.

I recently stayed at day inn Surrey While the first day was fine, I was very disappointed with my experience on the second day. One of the night shift staff members spoke to me in a rude and unprofessional way, which made me feel uncomfortable. I also noticed that the same staff member was much more polite and friendly with another customer, which felt unfair and disappointing. I hope the management can look into this issue and ensure all guests are treated with the same respect.

Nice property inside, somewhat updated and tidy. The location is a bit isolated and there are limited conveniences in the vicinity. Close to skytrain station though and fairly quiet considering the proximity to the highway and train. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast looked decent but I only took coffee. Would stay again.

It’s decent for a budget hotel. Staff is friendly. Location is good, really close to the passport office, which is why we stayed there. The breakfast was kinda gross. Rotten milk and eggs. The sausages were like rubber.
