This is not a three or four star hotel. This is a MOTEL!! The bed is as so soft & comfortable it was so hard to crawl out at 5am!! This motel is not in the middle of surrey’s homeless area so it felt comfortable. The towels are not super soakers but this is a motel. Not every room has refrigerator. Wifi included and speed was more than adequate. This place deserves your attention if you’re traveling to surrey and don’t need the luxuries.

good: Staff is friendy and competent, Parking properly and close to rooms. I am disappointed due to: shower was not working. Water just in bathtube available. disappointed du to payment conditions: my credit card was charged with a pledge ($ 200). It should be refunded. But now, after a week, no refund made.

Rooms are clean but not stocked properly. No beverage and ice machine at the site. You have to walk next door to Canadian Inn to get the ice.

The bathtub had rust. The sheets were so old they had a wierd smell and the sheets had small holes. Walking on the carpet dirtied our socks. The picture on the TV had a lot of snow. The kitchen sink was leaking and had issues. I asked the manager to change the room but he said that they were all the same.

The carpets are heavily stained. There are lots of corners in the bathroom with built up gross dirt and the ceiling in the bathroom is cracking. The toilet has dirt on the back part where the cap has come off for the toilet seat. There was loud water tap use multiple times and resulted in water puddles outside our room. When we asked the cleaner to stop, she told us no and when she was told to stop multiple times she put her hand up in a threatening way. Do not recommend. While it was one of the more affordable places, we did not feel comfortable not wearing our shoes in the room. There was no fridge in the room.

Rooms are basic average size rooms air conditioners are old broken and filters are not cleaned regularly one in my room was full of dust debris

the whole motel is infested with rats, in the rooms, in the beds (i could see & feel them moving inside of my mattress, i could hear them in the walls, i could see the stains of their urine & poop) and i hate rats & mice. i couldn’t sleep the whole first night of my stay, i sat on the bathroom counter the WHOLE night, because every piece of furniture had rats inside of it. i asked for a refund because a new room wasn’t enough, and the 2 men that were working at like 2/3AM were very nice and offered me a refund because i can’t be around the rats due to my own trauma, so they were like ok just wait for a few hours and we’ll get that to you, you can check out & go to new hotel. morning comes around, and there’s a new worker at the front desk; darker skinned, young man, with big squared glasses, short & stubby & has ZERO care for how he treats his customers. Him & his mother are condescending, unprofessional, entitled, unclean, and disrespectful, individuals. they denied everything that the 2 actual good workers offered me, which really made up my mind for me to never support a company like that again, if it puts ANY money on the table for a family like those 2 lazy, dirty, clowns. the guy yelled at me for the door closing while i was changing rooms, he must have forgot what his job was? anyways, i advise you to go anywhere but here, do not support a condescending, cheap, careless family like these people, they are seriously disgusting & guaranteed you will get bedbugs here.

The sheets had stains, looked like blood, brown stained spots everywhere, brown chunks on the walls, hair in the bathtub, burn holes in the bedding, sharpie drawn on the tv, 3 lights were burnt out. Stains on the carpet. It was disgusting. I felt very uncomfortable. 30 minutes after check in, we checked out.

Bedsheets were kot clean and the dryer was not working

This was a last minute booking, and the front desk assistant couldn’t speak English very well. We didn’t mind to much, it was just hard to understand. Our room was terrible when we got in it, it smelt off. It’s dingy and old. The sheets had many stains and wads of hair in them. On the pillow cases as well. The bathroom was disgusting. There was hair caked in the corners, on the bottom of the bathtub. The towels had stains and hair again. I don’t think the room had been cleaned in a while. There was sticky stuff on every surface. With this being our only option we had to run to Walmart to get sheets, pillows and a blanket to make it manageable. We even got disinfectant spray and wipes. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying there, it was FAR too expensive for what it is.

The location of the place is fine, but the entire facility needs a much needed face-lift and clean up. I saw large rat outside the office, there were mice droppings inside under the kitchen sink, there was a mouse trap inside the bedroom. Bed linen not clean, carpet extremly dirty and heavily solied. Food particles on ceiling of kitchen. Door had opening at bottom, so didn’t feel safe. Refrigerator made strange sound often, so frightened my 92 year old mother.

There is bed bugs one the room I complained to the stuff and I been told go back to your country than I replied back in the same way I’m Canadian citizen this is my contry I said I left the room to go outside I got locked out asked 4 the other key than I got offended all kind of things this which I had to reply back one the same way

Not a very clean place, pillow and sheet had blood on, didnt notice til morning. Carpet very dirty. Shower had garbage in it. I turned the key into the owner and he forced me to take key back to room or threatened me with a charge. Will try Motel 6 across street next time i come thru.

There was an extremely dirty toilet when you first arrived, bed was so stained i chose not to sleep on it, black mold was on the walls and the cuboards had it too.

Staff was great, room was large and reasonable condition considering the age of motel. Price is within reason. Matteress was due for a change otherwise is would have got another star.

Too much noise around

This was a basic budget old motel. For my one-night, short stay it was adequate. It was located on main street and allowing early checking in.

Still waiting for my damage deposit back. Been 4 days already

Would not recommend anyone staying here. We travelled a very long ways and couldn’t find any other hotel as it was very late and we were so tired trying g to get a hotel. The night clerk was so rude when we were asking questions about the hotel. The room was not that great and wasn’t cleaned good as we found wrappers under the bed.

They charge me $200 security deposit on my card Did not refund it. Without any reason . I am calling and emailing them daily they are just ignoring everytime comes with new reasons.

The staff here is amazing

The description of the room and the amenities were accurate, check-in and check-out process was easy and the staff were efficient and helpful.

Terrible service, the receptionist had a very bad attitude

The price of the room for one night was too expensive, they charged 230$ and extra 200 for deposit. Everything was okay. But the receptionist made me felt bored ,asked alot of question and we had to stay in receptionist office for more than 15 minutes, even though Everything was already reserved online. During check out, when I was at the reception , a guy told me in a rude tone"oh leave the keys inside the room" i told him why we already came out from there and again you want me to go in " so he was like no madam u need to leave the key inside the room. Even though i feel they need to give every instructions while customers is checking in, rather than making customer feel stupid. Morning guy was really rude. Bad customer service.

Don’t book here , pay for cancellation insurance . I used the filters to make sure it was pet friendly and when I drove 4 hours from Kamloops they turned me away since it wasn’t pet friendly but on the app it said it was . They charged over $350 for the lowest star rating hotel I’ve ever seen . Wouldn’t give me my money back . Not good customer service . Very old building and no restaurants .
