Comfort Inn & Suites Athens North

Very comfortable and convenient. Only complaint would be that there's not much parking. Came in late from a concert and got the last remaining spot. Otherwise great. Would stay here again if in Athens.

toilet was broken and we had to take tank lid off to get toilet to flush and refill. Never got fixed. Outside was terrible. trash everywhere, tree limbs in parking lot, etc.

The room was decent. However, the elevator was a very rough ride. According to the documentation, it was overdue for a safety inspection. The key card to get inside did not work. When I brought this to the attention of the lady at the front desk, she just said I’m sorry. She made no attempt to correct the situation.

The room was extremely dirty. The bathroom was disgusting - the tub had mold around the edges - the water didn't drain in the shower or the sink. Our stay was 5 nights/4 days - we had to take showers with half the tub constantly filled with dirty water because it never drained properly. The hotel didn't refresh the room or restock towels one time. We had two guests - the bathroom had only two towels - when I requested extra it was an issue. The room smelled like something was burning - I had to have the manager and maintenance come and all they did was spray some air freshener. The mini fridge didn't work at all - one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because we needed to keep drinks cold for baseball camp. The outlets next to the bed didn't work so we had to charge our phones across the room. The cable on the tv had a terrible kids selection. And lastly - parking after 4:30 was an issue because long term construction crew guests parked their work trucks with trailers across 4-6 spaces where parking was already limited. The staff was friendly and tried to help where possible but it wasn't much.

Quiet and safe hotel. But bathroom had mold, gym was closed for remodeling. Good free breaks fast and very friendly front desk and cleaning staff.

All and all it was a very good experience. The room and common areas were very clean. The staff was exceptional and friendly especially the lovely lady working the breakfast area, I wish I got her name. The only downside was the workout room equipment was not really working... There are 3 machines: Treadmill, Pelatron, and bowflex... The treadmill which is what I wanted to use was not working at all. The bowflex Worked where you could adjust the settings but there was no screen usage or programs available... And you needed an account to use the pelatron bike, Which I don't have.

Pretty normal experience, staff was very nice. The breakfast was okay but there were a lot of options so anyone can find something! The bathroom in our room could have been cleaner but I am a little bit of clean freak. Overall good experience considering we only stayed one night. Also gym was closed during our stay so if that is something you need I am not sure how long that will be closed for.

Its about 8 minute drive to Athens downtown. Room was clean. Building and gym are old and needs some upgrade

We got two towels and two wash cloths - that was it for two nights. Breakfast was the standard hotel continental breakfast, There were crackers on the elevator floor our entire stay which was weird given housekeeping used the same elevator.

Commode continually ran. Mold in the bathroom tub and ceiling.

Great location. Carpet and rooms have unpleasant smell. We used a candle to help. Staff very friendly. Room is comfortable. Definitely smelled smoking on our floor. If you are sensitive to smells then you may not like this hotel.

The property looked well maintained on the outside. Walking in, it looked nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great! The only negative thing I can say is that the rooms are a little outdated and need some paint. ... but they were very clean and very nice. I would stay again.

Hotel was okay. Room smelt like cigarette smoke. The staff moved us and it was better.

Dirty hotel. Carpets need replacing. Ceiling tiles look filthy. Second and last time staying here.

Room wasn’t cleaned at all during our 3 night stay. Fire alarm went off at 5am on our last night, apparently it was a false alarm but nothing was communicated to guests, we just assumed it was ok one the alarm stopped and we returned to our rooms.

Very clean. Front desk staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was great. My room was very close to the front desk and I had no issues with noise. Great stay.

My daughter and I were here for just one night. The staff was very friendly. I felt safe. However, I did hear a lot of noise from outside. Our room was clean, and we had hot water for a shower. Although it could use some updating, it was overall okay. I gave it 4 stars because the walls are thin. I was woken up way too early by our neighbors.

The shower tubs were clogged up the tub was filling up while i was taking a shower. Had no shampoo or conditioner.

Very clean, large, and quiet room. My only complaints are the faint smell of cigarette smoke and the lack of water pressure.

MR Mays at the front days was an amazingly polite, professional young man. Truly one of the best desk clerks I have met in all of my travels. He really started my stay off with a positive attitude compared to the expensive UGA on campus hotel where I recently had to wait 25 minutes to check in because they had lost my reservation. A great experience and the Comfort Inn and suites.

The hotel front desk attendant wasn't pleasant. Once I arrived I greeted her with a smile and she greeted me with a "dry do you have a reservation"? I cheerfully said yes ma'am I do and handed her my identification and she returned my ID slamming it on the counter. The first room assigned on the 2nd floor. The door was visibly open as if someone left to go get ice and return promptly. I never entered the room and promptly went back to the front desk. Well the attendant was not apologizing nor was she comforting, she tried to argue with me about no one should be in the room by this time it was 10pm. She begrudgingly put me in another room on the 4th floor. The attendant never checked to see if I was okay. I used the "do not disturb" signage on my door and someone still enter my room, dumped the little garbage I had and changed the towels. I didn't need or want the service for a two night stay. I keep my room tidy and reuse my towels. I felt uncomfortable and use this location again.

We always stay at this hotel when visiting family. They are always so friendly and accommodating. They go above and beyond.

This was the best check in process I have ever had at a hotel! It was less than 2 minutes because they had everything ready!

The staff here is welcoming and friendly, location is perfect for my needs. Will definitely stay here again when I visit my family!

Stayed here Fri-Sun. Staff was friendly and helpful, spotless room with lots of extras-tea bags, hair dryer. Excellent full breakfast. Hampton Inns have been our first choice, but they were full on our dates. Next time we will come back to the Comfort Inn-Hampton drops to 2nd place!

Property needs some refreshing in the common areas. People were always hanging around the back area (couldn't tell if they were guests or not). We stayed two nights and the same broken potato chips were in the elevator the whole stay even though the staff used the elevator. The traffic makes it difficult to turn left out of the hotel.

It was a very basic Comfort Inn. Not horrible, but nothing special. I thought it was close to UGA, but it was about 15 minutes away. It’s fine as a last resort.

We came into town for a concert and only stayed one night. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. We felt safe staying there. And breakfast was a nice touch.

Fridge did not work. Keto snacks spoiled. Shower dirty and there are photos below Only on light worked in bathroom making shaving difficult. The tiny shampoo was previously used and left in shower. Staff was friendly and engaging. Gym was barely a gym with only 3 pieces of equipment. Breakfast was meh. No coffee in room, but 24 hour coffee in lobby. Ice water in lobby. I was On 3rd floor and had to get on elevator to go to second floor for ice and vending. The food options next to counter was pretty good although no Leo options were available. All staff were friendly and helpful. It feels like the must be u see a tough budget because they are letting this location run down. Feels like they are in the budget death spiral.

Very clean. Front desk staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was great. My room was very close to the front desk and I had no issues with noise. Great stay.

Breakfast was not up to par with similar hotels. It was small & very crowded. Could not eat there. The facet in the bathroom barely reached the sink. Hard to use. Toilet tissue hanger felt like it was going to fall off the wall. Very minimal amount of towels. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall.
