The room is cute, but very small, especially compared to other boutique hotels we stayed at in Miami within the same price range. The bathroom has no windows or exhaust fan. It’s uncomfortable and embarrassing to use, especially if you’re sharing the room with someone else. The bathroom floor inside the shower has some kind of adhesive covering that seems to be peeling off, so parts of it are bubbling up. I don’t think that gives the good impression the hotel is trying to convey. The room also doesn’t have curtains that fully cover the windows and keep the space dark. So when the sun comes up, the room gets flooded with light even if you want to sleep a little longer in what should be a darker room. One particular thing in my bed caught my attention: there was a hair tie and a strand of hair on the bed, probably from a previous guest. But I was so tired from the trip that I just cleaned it up and went to sleep. The reception area is very cozy, and the staff member was very helpful. But the room itself was quite disappointing to me.

My room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff were pleasant and friendly. It was plenty of restaurants nearby with different food.

Solid location is short walk to public transit or easy rideshare to livelier parts of the island. The rooms are spacious, although the decor feels a bit shabby and oriented more toward Instagram photos than high quality (but that could be said for much of Miami). The staff are welcoming and helpful, and I appreciated the reserved stretch of beach.
