Old, dirty, dated...the arms of the chairs in the lobby are all worn and filthy. Trash bags in the hallways for days. No cleaning staff or toilet paper..I cannot Believe it has a Marriott brand.

Arrived after dark and there was no light on the Marquee at entrance so we almost passed it. Parking and areas around hotel was not very well lit. I love Residence Inn, but this location needs serious updates to rooms and furniture. Furniture was ok, but quite dirty. Tile in bathroom, especially the shower had calcium build up and needed attention. It was sufficient for our one night stay.

Everything was going good until around 5:30am when the fire alarm was going off. Everyone had to exit the building. Fire Dept came and did not know what set it off and how to shut it off. We ended up leaving a couple hours after that. The alarm was still going when we left. They should re-imburse us for this stay since we had to leave way early

Front desk staff and breakfast attendant were very nice. Hotel was spacious and clean. You can see it's an older hotel and may need some updates but it was fine. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Sheets too small.Other than a fire alarm going off in the middle of the night, the only complaint I have is that they were installing a new roof on a Sunday at 7 am. I appreciate the update but not during the weekend at that hour. I hate it when hotels are under some construction and they don't say anything. But with that aside, I would stay here again. Maybe bring my own pillow next time lol 5 stars for staff !

I love staying at Residence Inn. This property however has a few issues. The entrance is really rough and every time I entered I got horns blown at me. The vegetation is overgrown. The building entrances have big dirty ash trays and cigarette butts. I had to get a new room because there was white pet hair all over the first. We had the hair all over us. The bed was comfortable. We will try it again on our next visit. Maybe it's in recovery mode now.

The beds were comfortable. The rooms were nice. It just wasn’t very clean. The carpet smelled like dog pee. They never came and cleaned or changed the towels. I think we had a used towel hanging on the back of the door when we got there. Maybe they just don’t clean your room at a residence inn while you stay? I probably would not stay there again.

Liked all the space. Roomy. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff at the deskvery nice Couch had stains on tbe custons, hair on the shower walls when we arrived, but oher than those small issues, i would be back.

We needed a place to stay for one night so I booked this room. It was on the higher side of the price range but I travel often and try to stay at better quality places. The front desk staff is very nice and the lobby looks ok. Our room was in a nice area but it wasn’t cleaned properly. There was blood on our blanket but we didn’t see it until the morning! The floors were filthy. It was late so we ended up staying but I’ll never stay here again. The bed was incredibly hard and my back is killing me today. Book somewhere else. This place is awful.

The first room given to us was near the side door entrance, with lots of traffic. The front desk staff was very accommodating in giving us another room far from traffic, ice makers and elevators. Thank you! The room was comfortable, large TV with lots of options, great shower, and comfortable bed. We were here in August and the a/c worked amazingly well given that it was over 110 degrees heat index! If I have to stay in Temple, this was a good choice.

We always stay at Residence Inn when we visit Temple, TX. This time we got settled in, and then found the shower only had cold water. We were given another room,and had to pack up and move to another room. We got settled in and then discovered there were holes in the curtains. We found a way to cover them and had a great stay after that. We will be back!

The room truly looks like a tiny apartment! It was very comfortable. My price was exceptional! It was a last-minute booking. My husband and I were returning home from a Valentine's weekend away. We just didn't want to drive late into the night, so we searched for a place to stay. We found Residence Inn in Temple online.

There was no on at the desk when we arrived. We had checked in online earlier but waited to get our key. The front desk attendant was unfriendly & unwilling to help us with our request. Our room smelled like smoke, the bed looks like it's been slept in & there was something nasty on the toilet. We would've gone to another hotel if one had been available.

Everything was going okay until the cleaning lady scared us early our last morning by opening our door. We were deep asleep since my son had two late games the night before. I called the front desk and she apologized and said that since we didn't answer her knock (which we did not hear) it was okay for her to open the door. This was at 9AM when the check out is at noon! We had a 7 hour drive home and wanted to rest.

We arrived that night and they told us our reservation was cancelled. They could not tell us why but only said they could rebook us for double+ the rate I had originally reserved. I reserved 114. And they said I had to pay 249. A night. I refused and told them I wanted the rate I had booked 3 weeks prior. She called manager and after 30. Minutes of bickering I left. They would not budge. I will not book again through Hotels.com due to this incident. That was pure price gouging. Yes they had two big football games in town that weekend and a huge dog show down the road in Belton.

After a long weekend of travel, we were greeted by Mikayla, who took excellent care of us and showed great care and compassion with our room choice and our pets. It made me want to come back and visit temple just to meet the people.

While visiting Temple, We Have been staying at this facility for past 5 years. This is the first time we encountered a roach in bathroom. The morning coffee carafe was cold, and when replenished, the coffee was Disgusting.

The Hotel was nice. Very clean, had a nice home like feel. The Room was nice, had sofa that pulled out into a bed. Staff was friendly. Breakfast fell really short especially on 2nd day. It eggs and sausage were cold. Didn't have much selection so do not expect much from their breakfast.

There was a tornado through the area a few weeks before our stay, so there was some property damage. Nothing that the hotel could do anything about, it was a very nice place to stay and I was so excited to see that they had gluten free muffins available for breakfast! Overall - very quiet and clean place - we were happy.
