This hotel lives up to the previous reviews and it’s name. We stayed in one of the medina suites, but that is a small part of the whole value add. From the initial booking to the final goodbye we only experienced luxury.

A true gem and a five-star hotel that truly lives up to its rating. The surroundings were beautiful, spotless, and well maintained: a place where both body and soul could truly relax. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure all of our wishes were taken into account. The spa was wonderful as well, and I highly recommend the massages! We would absolutely love to come back and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly relaxing and luxurious stay in Tavira.

This is a five-star hotel. It is beautifully restored and a classic. The staff is very service oriented, friendly and attentive. The location seems to be close to everything. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I will return.

We had a beautiful room with a lovely patio area which was shaded all day, keeping cool. There was a rooftop area with a few sunbeds and two very small plunge pools. The hotel was beautifully renovated and in a very good location, in a lovely part of town in easy walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The only small negative was that most of the patios lacked privacy, but the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed so we didn’t mind.
