The hotel could be very impressive. Unfortunately there is construction and therefore, some of the dining amenities were not available - no coffee. Also, the suites have no drawer space. And free wifi is only available for bonvoy members. That is not stated in the online profile. I loved the location, but not so sure I would return on my next trip

The ballroom for the stitch retreat was well lit there was plenty of room for all the tables. Staff was very friendly. THe outdoor patio where we sat some of the time was very clean and comfortable.

The rooms need to be dusted. The ceiling had so much dust in them and the window curtains need to be pulled back so they can dust and spray for Cobb webs and hugs! It was bugs all In our hotel window seals

The hotel is a little dated but still nice. However the air conditioner in rooms are terribly loud that you will not be able to sleep. Reported this to front desk.

Rooms were updated and bed was comfortable but they had us on the first floor. No view. The hallway smelled of weed and it was definitely loud at night. Walls are thin and you could hear other guest. It was doable for one night. That night we got a drink and a snack, lady just asked for our room and that was it. The same lady at the desk when we checked out, when we stated we wanted an itemised bill printed that it was through a third party they don’t do that. So ten hrs later I received an email of charges of Twenty-five dollarFor one drink and two snacks!!! That’s crazy. I called to find out what else was charged on the card and they just stated for the incidentals we purchased. When I asked what they had for purchases they couldn’t tell me. So there is twenty-five dollar lesson learned!

So, I’m a big stickler for good pillows and the pillows at this location were just horrible. Overall a solid 4, but cannot get over the pillows being so small and lumpy.

Terrible experience. I reserved a room with two beds, but upon check-in, I was told they had “run out of rooms” and was given a room with a king bed instead. Despite booking a two-bed room, they couldn’t offer accommodation at another property. They then offered a rollaway bed, and when I asked for extra blankets, they claimed the property didn’t have any available. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had at a Marriott, and neither the staff nor the managers were willing to provide a credit or any form of compensation for their mistake.

Property was very clean. Staff were friendly but gave out incorrect hotel dining info. Being there over Christmas one thing that was important was the ability to get a late breakfast/brunch Christmas morning. Got wrong info and had to go to another property to eat. Also the bar tender was nice but spent way too much time chatting with other hotel staff. Several times had to walk down to where she was chatting to order drinks. Noticed this with other patrons too.

I come to Charlotte often for a shopping spree with my best friend. I have stayed at this hotel for years. It is convenient a location for shopping and great meals. On this trip - I had left my phone plug at home and the Night Manager was so kind to offer me one I could use through my stay! Not many hotels have that kind of hospitality!!!

Very nice hotel in a great location. I'm giving two stars because even by hotel standards their Wi-Fi was abysmal. Just plan on using your phone as a hotspot the entire time. Also was asked to pre-pay for the restaurant meal which was a bit of a surprise.
