The hot tub was filthy and the pool area was under construction. The entrance and exit to the parking lot was steep and treacherous. The view was very nice and the breakfast attendant was very cordial. Good hot breakfast choices.

Room was nice and clean. Pool should be open later. We got chased out of the pool area 10 minutes before it was set to close. The spa water and floor around the spa was very dirty. The water was cloudy and there was a scum ring around the top. Hair all over the ground around the spa. Also, it’s very small and outdated. The sauna was out of order.

Great staff, wonderful view. The only concern we had was the driveway/parking lot. It was narrow and very steep; we almost got in a wreck coming out of the parking lot because of the blind spot and steep exit.

In general, the hotel is dumpy. The common areas have been spruced up but the property is worn out. The bed was comfortable, a plus. But the check-in service was poor, being generally unfriendly. The fitness room, a poor example of what that can be, didn’t open until 8am, long after many wish to use it. The pool and hot tub are old and dank feeling. Try another hotel.

Staff was wonderful at this property. The walls are super thin and you can definitely hear other hotel guest conversations. Although it is an older property, they do keep it clean. However, housekeeping left a prior guests dirty towel in our room behind the door. Hot tub/pool is inconvenient to get to.

Limited hours of exercise room were disappointing, but there is a sauna albeit difficult to get it up to temp. The breakfast was great, custom omelets, waffles with strawberries and whip cream. What’s not to like about that, except the lame coffee. Yes, I would go back even if it was just for the omelet.

The property is pretty outdated and everything was creaking, including the bathroom door. Breakfast is limited on healthy options but the omelets were a nice touch. The pool was nice but again, everything is outdated. The hot tub doesn’t fit more than 3 people. Paid $290/night during the 4th of July weekend so there is that. I would not pay that money if it wasn’t for the holiday.

Nothing unique. Front desk manager looked at the pictures I sent of dirt , mold and debris in room. he suggested I move to another room at first I said no and then I agreed yet when I went to the other room, it was just as dirty and the night manager just rolled her eyes and said" it's not my job to do housekeeping I can't go around and check all the rooms for you to make sure you get the room you want you can go to another hotel" it was late and I'd been working and driving most the day do I asked for the king room back . Angelic was not at fault yet could have handled the situation in a more professional manner. She basically told me she didn't care what I thought that I could again for the second time go to a different hotel. I went back to my room opened up. The windows didn't use anything in the room because it was obviously not cleaned up to the Best Western standards.! I will never return to this hotel. I am my best western rewards senior citizen, and I would expect that every best western would have better cleaning standards. I have pictures that I could share.!

The hotel is run down and there was a musty smell in our room. The front desk clerk who assisted us was very strange when we asked for 2 extra towels. She argued with us about it saying we couldn’t possibly need extra towels, so we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome.

We loved the hotel. I cleaned up water I spilled near the sliding door, with a paper towell. The floor was pretty dirty. And the entire sloor was sticky on our shoes. Other than that the hotel was grea. The bed was wonderful too

The staff here were VERY accommodating, and friendly. 10/10 recommend because of this! Not often are people as helpful and kind as they were here. The property is clean, and well kept- pretty view from balcony rooms. Breakfast was also good.. very lovely for a hotel breakfast! :) Overall lovely, and unexpected quality stay!

This is an old property with trees that now cover most of the river view from rooms. The fixtures such as the toilets are old style. The property has had some updating but it has not been enough. The staff however where very good as was the breakfast with made to order omelettes.

The breakfasts were excellent. The dog friendly room left a lot to be desired. It was in the basement with no view whatsoever! Entryway was dirty, electrical outlet didn’t work and the worst was the toilet!! It was filthy. The 2 night $640 plus room could be better. Felt like a dungeon. Nothing like your ad.

The view was absolutely amazing! The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Newer remodel with some interesting work. My bathroom was a great size but not one outlet and it had a child’s size toilet. After running a marathon this was brutal! It was like doing a full squat just to sit down. Breakfast was in a great spot and they even had an omelet bar. Nice little place for a one night stay.

I gave this hotel 3 stars because it is an approximate average of zero starts and five stars. 5 Stars: >> very clean property and rooms >> staff was friendly and helpful >> Very nice location on the river 0 Stars: >> the architect of this place needs to be fired. There are many rooms on the bottom floor, but there is NO elevator. There are very steep stairs. If you have any disability, or have many, or heavy pieces of luggage, it would be difficult to impossible to get to those rooms. Because it was off season and on a weekday, the front desk person gave us a different room. However, in tourist season don't come here unless you make sure you can access your room >> I have never been unable the access the internet in any hotel. However here I could not pair my laptop with the hotel's internet. I did manage to pair my iPad, but the internet was slow as to be useless for anything other than e-mail >> The TV remote was very slow and often would not scroll down or enable selection of a station. Worse, once you selected a station, perhaps because of the slow internet, TV shows were difficult to watch because they skipped.

Electrical outlets are old and would not hold a plug. Made it very difficult with a CPap. This properly is in serious need of updating. Even the staff says it’s old. The breakfast with made to order omelets was convenient and good. View of the river is its redeeming feature. Would not stay here again.

Nice large rooms and office/breakfast space. Welcoming staff at checkin, Angelina was especially helpful and nice. And the breakfast with made to order omelets were fantastic! The breakfast hostess and omelet chef was wonderful and so cheerful, I’m sorry I didn’t write down her name.

Our stay here was amazing! The staff was friendly and welcoming. Great advice on what to see around the area. Good dining options in the area as well. The hotel offers a great breakfast options as well. The hotel was clean and quiet. Would absolutely stay here when coming back.

The staff here were VERY accommodating, and friendly. 10/10 recommend because of this! Not often are people as helpful and kind as they were here. The property is clean, and well kept- pretty view from balcony rooms. Breakfast was also good.. very lovely for a hotel breakfast! :) Overall lovely, and unexpected quality stay!

The staff here is the best, very outgoing, very friendly and just a joy to talk to. They are very helpful when asked to help with something. The crew that did the breakfast was very good, responsive and always asking if everything was good. The omelets were delicious and filling. The room was clean, the bedsheets and bath towels were clean as well, that is a big plus in my book. Hot water was HOT and the pressure from the show was fantastic. Whenever I am in this area to do work, I really try to get a pet friendly room as I take my English Bulldog with me everywhere. The staff loves pets and it was just a great place to stay.

Can’t say enough good things about the staff here! From the check in process to the breakfast provided, everyone was so attentive and helpful. Angelique was particularly helpful when accessing the pool for an evening swim and warm beverage. Everyone has been super. The pool was very warm, breakfast options were extensive and tasty, and beds were comfortable; nothing more to ask of a hotel.

There was limited parking and awful traffic noise from the nearby bridge and highway. Also the stairs are a hazard with steps uneven. Price was too high for what we experienced.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Excellent breakfast with cook-to-order omelets, plus 3 additional hot options, hot oatmeal with toppings (walnuts, brown sugar, fresh fruit, etc), fruit, bread and bagels, etc. Our room had a balcony with a table and two chairs and overlooking the ocean. Location is very close to old town with multiple dining options. We received excellent recommendations from the front desk for restaurants and beaches (Heceta Beach was awesome). The hotel has kind of a funky layout, but it was fine once we were familiar.

If you plan on Going sandrailing this hotel is located about five minutes from the meet up place. It is also right next to the bridge that takes you across to the waterfront. Another five minute drive. The waterfront has several restaurants to choose from. We went on a Friday night and we were able to be seated right away, the view from the hotel of the river and the bridge and the waterfront was very nice. The breakfast the next morning was quite as surprise with two women making me to order omelettes and all the other usual fare but with little extras, like strawberries and fresh, blueberries and whipped cream for them, make your own waffles. The place is clean, staff, friendly, and very convenient. We highly recommend.

This motel offers super nice service, a good location if you're on your way up or down the Oregon Coast and/or if you're visiting Florence. Just a little face-lift would go FAR to improve this property--prune the huge shrubs that hide views of the estuary, new paint. Breakfast buffet generous but teen-aged omelette makers need some help--the eggs were so salty and greasy that they were inedible.

The sink was plugged when we got there’d, solved by removing the middle regulator thing in sink- didn’t look full of hair…property seems a bit outdated and tired. The breakfast seems ok, the Amt of “margarine oil” they use for omelets is way too much. Front desk staff didn’t seem overly friendly or helpful but the kitchen buffet people were very nice. For the price I expect more- it was quite expensive to stay there. But maybe the other properties in the area are the same?

This is the 5th Thanksgiving we have stayed at this hotel. While we do like it and LOVE the fresh omelette station for breakfast and gluten free options, the cleanliness and quality has deteriorated these last couple years. The rooms have gotten a bit dingy and the stairs a little rickety. The pool and spa have way too much chlorine… we smelled of bleach for two days after using them even after having taken multiple showers. Despite this we would still stay here again.
