I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with the shuttle bus service I recently encountered. Very good. Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Keurig and fridge in the room. I didn’t give it 5 stars because: the hot tub closed at 9. I arrived 8:50 pm so I was bummed. Also it’s 12 minutes from the airport so close but not right next to it (I know that wouldn’t work logistically). The airport shuttles fill up fast in the am. Because it’s a hotel where the majority of guests are in transit, you hear people in the halls at all hours. Super late and SUPER early.

The hotel itself was fine, nothing amazing but a comfortable room and a nice pool. Very frustrating on arrival though to wait 45+ in the cold for the advertised shuttle from the airport. When it hadn’t arrived 10 minutes after the scheduled time (which we were on the curb 15 minutes early for) we called, and they said we were supposed to get on the Hampton Inn shuttle and gave us attitude like we were dumb for not guessing that a shuttle with a different hotel name would go to the Holiday Inn. For an airport hotel, you kind have two jobs: decent room and an airport shuttle. 1/2.

This is a tremendous hotel for anyone who has to go to Dulles Airport. The restaurant O’Malley’s is really good. Everybody is very friendly. The shuttle service to and from the airport is amazing. And I loved the comfortable beds and great showers with the soaps mounted on the walls. Very, very excellent value. Can’t thank the staff here enough!!!

Staff was friendly. First room had water on the bathroom floor and a dirty tub. Front desk moved us asap and was able to place us on the second floor. This hotel is close to Dulles but the price tag of $199.00 should of been better.

One could immediately tell the bathroom hadn’t been mopped, and the room had not been vacuumed. When I went to wash my hands, the faucet handle came off. The bed urgently needs to be replaced — after just one night of sleep, I had already sunk into the mattress. The pillows were equally uncomfortable and low quality. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and far below basic cleanliness and comfort standards.

The property is close to the airport with a free and convenient shuttle service. However, the room was in poor condition—stains on curtains. The bathroom was clean but had dirty bath towels(with someone’s hair). Make sure to grab two keys from the front desk. Mine didn't work.

TV never worked even after maintenance fixed it by resetting. No ice buckets in the room. Bed very uncomfortable. Appreciated the number and quality of pillows, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Loved having the national guard staying there, felt more safe. Need better hand soap

9verall, it was a nice place with one glaring problem. The room i was in was a dead zone for wifi. If i stepped outside my room I had four bars. Stepping back into my room it immediately lost internet. Could not get any work done. Glad it was 9nly one night.

I've had better stays. My room, 1216, and I'm assuming every room, has a sheer curtain with a useless blackout curtain that doesn't block any amount of light because whoever the genius is that installed said curtains made it where the blackout curtain doesn't extend all the way across the window, making it impossible to have a dark room. There's no railing for it. I'm not the least bit intrigued with parking lot lights, so overall, i didn't really rest here.

Check in was smooth & efficient & the guy on reception was friendly & very helpful. The bed was very comfy, the room clean & the water pressure was excellent. The shuttle bus provided an excellent service. Some bottled water in the room would have been appreciated. The downside was the heater/air conditioning unit in the room. It was like sleeping next to aircraft engines the entire night until around 5am when it suddenly went quiet or else by that time the exhaustion had finally kicked in. I also couldn’t find a switch to turn off the strip lighting above the bed despite ringing reception to ask, I did find a bunch of wires but no switch. I resorted to covering the light with towels to try & darken the room. As a night shift worker & the mother of 4 I can say without hesitation it was the worst nights sleep ever. As a single, tired female traveller I didn’t feel comfortable going to reception in the early hours to swap rooms. I choose to stay with a friend in DC my 2nd night before returning to check out.

We felt room itself was a little dated. Toilet was low and not "comfort level type. Being older only 1 grab bars in tub making entering and exiting difficult for us. Desk area had no plugs at desk top level making it a non working area. Again, staff nice, lobby fine cleanliness fine just needs a little updating in our opinion.

We checked in around 11pm and checked out around 7am. We had a long day of traveling and had just gotten in to IAD. A clean room, a comfy bed, and a good shower were the requirements, and we got all three. Perfect airport hotel as far as I'm concerned.

Cell & wifi service was terrible. I had to leave the property for a video call. Bathtub stopped was completely missing. Not every outlet works (bathroom ones didn’t). We stayed two seperate nights before a flight in and out of Dulles so it was not a one time issue. I would 💯 recommend staying elsewhere as there’s a ton of better hotels for the same price.

Had a looney tune in the room next to me who yelled from 1130 at nigh until 6 in the morning. Every time my girlfriend called the front desk they got an attitude with her. I eventually asked for another room and got an attitude about that. Staff is not friendly.

Keep in mind it’s 17 degrees Fahrenheit out. I call this hotel after getting off my flight for shuttle service since we don’t have any checked bags I knew we would be down at ride service within 20 minutes. I called and notified that I was with my elderly parents and they need extra assistance so I need to make sure the ride will be there so they are not standing in the cold. During the call I was told the ride will be at either 2B or 2G, I asked are these completely away from one another, and he said no they are beside each other which I thought was odd but ok I trust you. They were in complete different directions when I went to 2B the bud drivers explained to me that the hotel shuttles are around 2G so I go to the end and the driver is driving off, I’m running and screaming to get his attention numerous times and he doesn’t stop. I contacted HolidayInn and he said “oh he just left he won’t be back for another 30 minutes.” I explained to him “sir i called not even 20 minutes ago so I didn’t have to wait with my parents in the cold for additional 30 minutes as you understand.” This isn’t how you treat your customers the man’s name at the front desk is Mac - extremely rude, talking fast, didn’t care about what I was expressing and put me on hold after I was telling him the situation.

The hotel was nice for the price. It was a last minute booking to meet with family. Location was convenient to airport and parking was free. Had to drive 2 stations to catch the Metro into DC. Closest station did not have vehicle parking available. Would stay again.

Pros: As a woman traveling alone at night, I really appreciated how brightly lit the parking area was. It felt much safer than most hotel parking lots. My hotel room was very clean, and check in was quick. Possible Cons: there are only two floors, so if you prefer a high floor, that isn't a possibility here. And there is no small makeup mirror, if that's something you need. The area isn't particularly walkable and there isn't anything nearby you can get to on foot. Overall: This is a great pick for a short term stay close to Dulles Airport.

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The breakfast was very good, and the room and facilities were great. It is highly recommended that you have a car if you plan on being there for any length of time. There are no sidewalks and the area is not suitable for walking. The staff was great! They were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The shuttle to the airport was perfect to help us get to and from the airport.

We have a great 2 night stay here. Very peaceful and clean. The only thing was they didn't have a free continental breakfast. Most do. However, they did have a buffet breakfast but the food that was supposed to be hot was barely warm. It was $12.95 a person and we hardly ate anything. Not thrilled. Needless to say, we had breakfast elsewhere the 2nd day. They did have a great Pub called O'Malley's which was "excellent" !! food and service.... very good!! Highly recommend.

The hotel is top notch. Love the room decor. Spotless. Love having two restaurants to choose from. Love that the breakfast buffet begins at six but my only complaint was that the food wasn’t warm enough and there needs to be more drink options. I also don’t think it was worth $15. Other than that it was a great stay. I love the little reading lights over the bed, too.

I was very disappointed with the breakfast that I paid $40. for 2 of us. I did not realize it was a serve yourself limited selection bouffet. Also disappointed that the indoor poolwas not open. It looked like a perfect way to relax after our busy day. Overall we were very satisfied with all the employees who were very friendly and helpful. Including the shuttle driver who made sure he dropped us off at the correct entrance. If we return to DC again we would definately make reservations again.

This is a tremendous hotel for anyone who has to go to Dulles Airport. The restaurant O’Malley’s is really good. Everybody is very friendly. The shuttle service to and from the airport is amazing.
