Location was convenient but property was just ok. Room was so small that I couldn't open a closet door and open a door at the same time. Bed was very comfortable. Bedding was ok. Limited services. Elevators being decorated with loud advertisements for Universal Studios. Just too much. We were on top floor, and had to stop about 10 to 15 times pretty much all the time to get to the bottom, because only 2 elevators worked while we were there. They change sheets once every 3 days. For the amount they charge, it's outrageous.

Clean and Beautiful Property, close to Universal Studios, you either can walk or take the shuttle buses that come every 15mins over all Great place! Only Bad part $50 for parking was a bit High! And the parking was extremely tight!!! Cars are literally “12 inches from door to door on a mid size suv! Other than that is Great I highly recommend it!

Easy check in and out. Hot tub and pool were great the first day. 2nd day hot tub was cold and dirty. Also a sign said no children, but no one followed the rules. The bar at the pool was great. So was the service at the bar inside.

Right next to Universal Studios Hollywood! It’s within walking distance, but even better is their park shuttle service which is nice when your feet are tired. It comes frequently and operates until 3am. The room was very clean, water was hot, beds were comfortable, and the section we were in was quiet. Would stay again… thank you!

We loved it was so close to Universal Studios, walking it was 10 minutes easy. Everything was comfortable & clean. The only downer was the jets in the hot tub were not working all the time.

The room was nice! The pillows were a little flat but the bed was comfy and sheets were clean, also there is only 3 elevators for the entire hotel and it’s 21 levels so be prepared to wait for the elevator for a few minutes. The staff was really nice and friendly, they checked on us a lot.

This was our third time staying at the property, and unfortunately, each visit has been progressively worse. The biggest advantage continues to be the convenient proximity to Universal Studios, the complimentary shuttle service, and the fantastic food options on-site. The restaurant staff are consistently wonderful and provide excellent service. However, the condition of the rooms has become increasingly disappointing. Upon arrival, we found stains and hair on the bed linens. When we raised the issue with housekeeping, we were told the sheets were freshly laundered—but regardless, no one wants to sleep on stained bedding. It appears there is a serious miscommunication between housekeeping and the linen department. Clean but stained sheets are not being properly rejected and are instead being used for new check-ins. We had to call twice to have the bed linens replaced, which is not acceptable for a property of this standard

Overall the hotel is good. One of two hotels close to the Universal. The room itself is getting dated and the dust in the non obvious places is accumulating, the shower also backs up. The restaurant food is very good, and the Starbucks is bigger and better than the other hotel. Staff here is very nice. Overall a good experience, but the rooms need to be cleaner and upgraded a little.

The Sheraton is supposed to be a premium branded hotel according to Marriott however, it felt like a D tier Motel 6. I understand the hotel is older, but there was a clear, lack of maintenance and bad design choices. An example of lack of maintenance would be the buckets in the lobby that were collecting water from a 2’ x 2’ section of ceiling coming off and looks like it was going to collapse anytime. An example of bad design choices would be the restroom that looks like an industrial warehouse restroom with a bathtub thrown in. Other things to know where the bathroom floor that was visibly not cleaned from the previous guests. There was a metal bar that folded down as a secondary lock for the balcony door, which looked kind of ghetto. The TV in our room was crooked because part of the TV mount was broken. The towels that they gave us may have been new, but left us with cotton balls all over and took about 5 minutes to get them all off. These were just some of the issues. Overall, the hotel had a premium price tag for a motel quality. This was all the sake of convenience in relation to Universal Studios. We wished we stayed downtown in a nicer hotel for less money and just Uber/Lyft over to the park.

Pros: Great location for Universal! The restaurant in house also has great service and really tasty food after a busy day in the park. My kid also loved the pool and the room had nice views. The queen sized bed was actually a queen and quite comfortable. Cons: peeling wallpaper, fixtures hanging off the walls, and the hide a “bed” was in no way comfortable. Luckily our kid is young and his body could handle it, but it was utterly terrible.

The hotel is very conveniently located and the Universal Park shuttle is great. Unfortunately, we got the family room with the fold out “bed”. It was hard as a rock and my son could not sleep on it. When we complained to the manager, he basically said that all the fold out sofas are the same. They could not move us to another room or provide a mattress for the fold out. We ended up having to drive to Walmart and buy a twin size air mattress to make it comfortable. This hotel is far too expensive for guests to have to bring their own mattresses.

We arrived at 10:30 am for a conference and they had our room ready. Amazing the whole stay was lovely. Staff go out of their way to help and a shout out to Daisaku at the consierge desk and Ryan the bellman. Couldn’t say more about the amazing service.

Besides our rooms, more than one, weren’t ready for check in until after six pm the stay was very nice. The delay in check in really set my party ( 3 rooms and 7 guest’s) behind schedule. Five us didn’t have time to shower for our planned engagement. The staff was kind and courteous. I was credited valet fees for the stay but I do think a room comp should have been issued.

The overall hotel was exquisite, the lobby was very beautiful and clean. The check in staff was very pleasant and every time I stopped at the front desk, everyone was so helpful. The hotel room was very clean and the bed itself was nice and firm and comfortable. The ease to get to Universal Studios made this hotel a great choice.

Pre paid parking pass didn’t work. Charged me twice and they said their website is glitchy. Room wasn’t ready at check in time. Check in line had at least 100 people in line. Everybody got texts randomly when their room was ready. When you received the text you had to get back into the 100 person line to get your room key. Took about 1.5 hours to check in and get to our room.

The hotel is in a good location that you can walk to the universal studios. The check-in was terrible that we had never experienced. We booked a room with a king bed and a sofa bed which was clearly confirmed with the front desk when we checked in. However when got into the room, we found there was a small sofa but not a sofa bed. We called the front desk but they said it was a sofa bed and he would send a room service person to instruct us how to make the sofa to a bed. Nobody showed up after 30 minutes. We called again and was told the room service person would come in 10-20 minutes. Another 30 minutes passed and still no one showed up. In the 3rd call, we had to tell the same issue for the 3rd time and then our call was transferred to room service who had no context of the issue. We repeated our issue for the fourth time, but the room service people simply transferred us back to the front desk without saying anything. This is another person and we have to explain our issue for the fifth time. Surprisingly the person admitted the room was wrongly labeled and they would give us another room. While My husband simply asked them to give us the new room keys asap , the front desk person yelled to us “don’t yell at me” and hang up the phone. We got the new room keys after 10 minutes. But this was not over. They forgot to enable the valet parking with the new keys, which we found out the next day after being blocked at the valet gate and tried all ways with the room key.

Fabulous location for spending time at universal - hassle free & nice pool area. Clean tidy & just as expected. You are Walking distance to the park or free shuttle, there is a supermarket walking distance which is important to us.

Property was a 11 minute walk to Universal but Hotel also had shuttle every hour not able to walk to any local eateries but city walk was a 11 minute walk with lots of restaurants ( even Buca Di Beppo )

Property itself was great. Did exactly what it needed too. Area around the hotel isnt the greatest. No morning dining options on the universal walk. No target or convenience shops around the area unfortunately.

Pros and cons for this hotel. Much of it including our room was nicely remodeled. But some areas still in need and for example felt dirty. Restaurant was pretty good but very pricey as expected. Breakfast buffet did not meet expectations for the exorbitant price of $32 per adult. Heated pool was a big plus and felt clean. Location for visiting universal studios was excellent. Wish there were more restaurants in immediate vicinity/next door rather than a short walk (about a quarter mile to nearest).

Very comfortable stay, especially after a long day at universal studios. Great customer service. The room was clean and modern. There is a shuttle that takes you to the park and city walk, but you can also easily walk there in 10 minutes. The metro subway is also a quick 5 to 10 minute walk as well.

One of the main reasons I booked here was due to the location and close proximity to Universal Studios. This made travel to and from the park seamless. I would recommend anyone looking to visit Universal studios to stay here. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I expected more from the breakfast buffet. The selection was a little disappointing. I would skip this next time. (I had dinner at the restaurant and it was great! If the selection for breakfast could be improved this would make it an easy 10/10)

Great location, 10min walk to Universal theme park or Universal City walk or you can take their shuttle that runs every 15min. Rooms were nice and clean. Front desk is very responsive and even checks in on you through text. They have a restaurant and a late night bar, but we did not eat at either.

We appreciated the extra bedding for the sleeper, unasked. We found the bed so much more comfortable however. All else was all we needed. The Take and Go where you ring up your own snacks from the cold shelves is a great customer service, especially when the lines are long. The CityWalk to Universal Theme Park is only one of many benefits to staying.

Customer service was amazing with anything we did. Ordered room service twice and everything was delicious! Pizza, meatballs and spaghetti, Alfredo, chocolate cake, chicken... So good! Pool and hot tub were wonderful and my kids had fun! Checking in and out were quick and easy. Would definitely recommend staying here. Quick walk to universal, we would recommend walking vs waiting in line for shuttle. Paying for parking at a hotel is ineveitable and not driving to universal meant we didn't have to pay for parking there too. I wish we could order pool-side breakfast or snacks, no food could be delivered to pool until lunchtime but not a big issue at all.

We usually stay across at a different hotel assuming it was “better”. We were WRONG! The Sheraton has so much more to offer. The food was all delicious. The customer service was excellent. The entire hotel was clean and welcoming. It’s better for families as well as those on business. The bar area is lively during the evening and I enjoyed sitting in the lounge area drinking a coffee from their Starbucks Café. This hotel also offers the shuttle and has good parking for your car. This will be our yearly staycation when we visit Universal City. Also, I think they offer VIP tour purchases in the lobby. I didn’t ask because we’ve done the VIP tour before, but I think they offer it as well.

I did enjoy my stay but what I love about this hotel is the bar. The bartenders are really friendly, however there was one that stick out the most and is Francis C. The drinks he made was incredible mostly the espresso martini had a great balance of alcohol and coffee. It was not over powered by alcohol, nor bitter coffee just perfect. Also, the paloma was so delicious that it felt dangerous because you didn’t taste the alcohol and not super sweet.
