We loved our room location overlooking the water. Resort restaurants were amazing! Great food and drinks. Swimming pool was jam packed, in our opinion, too full. Convenient parking and location in town and on lake was great.

We headed up for winter games and we reserved a room that fit six people. We had trouble parking the entire time of our stay. They had signs out that said no trailers and they had overflow parking for those trailers. It was not enforced and there were trailers that took up eight spots worth of parking we spent over 20 minutes every time driving around the parking lot looking for an open spot. We weren’t the only ones many people had to park in either handicap spots or on the sidewalk. We called to get new towels because we were only given 4 even though our room slept six. The gal at the front desk was very rude and abrasive to us when we asked for more clean towels she stated you are only entitled to 4 clean towels. You have to bring your dirty towels back and we can exchange them. We ended up having to track down a maid in our complex and ask for clean towels.

Just an OK vacation with family nearby. We thought we had a first level room by the pictures we looked at, and instead we had a fourth-floor room that had no view of the lake, and of course we had very noisy neighbors after 10 pm. The price was extreme for what we received, we were there 3 nights and had to ask for clean towels. The pool was very cloudy, and no towels each day we went, and adults were the worst, they left their acholic drinks all over, and we got to see the police come in due to bad adults, just what you want your grandkids to see. Too long of a line at check-in, one person at counter. So over all less then ok for the price.

The pool area was dirty with beer cans and old drink cups laying around. Our neighbors were very noisy and had a party in which they decided to take over our patio, which was disruptive to our stay.

The room was very clean nice lake view from the balcony. The waterfront had several lifeguards. Had waterslides,water baketball, water volleyball. Wadind pool and slide for younger kids. Nice refrigerator in room. No phone or microwave. Everything was scanned. So just having a flip phone wasn't very helpful. No restaurants.

The check in process was deplorable. We waited in a line for 45 min to check in. Check in time was 5:00 but our room was not ready for us until 7 pm. There was no apology or compensation. We also could not use our complimentary water park and pool passes as the facilities were shut down for another event.

Not impressed that the hotel is not connected- had to walk in the rain to the fitness room, then back in the rain. No complimentary breakfast offered & the coffee bar had no amenities for a cup of coffee. No microwave or hooks for any of the towels in the rooms.

Our bathroom was really dark, had to use the mirror outside the room to get ready. Walls were thin, there was a baby crying in the room next to us most of the night. Also, we had a double queen bed so 4 to a room and were only provided 2 wrist bands for the water park. We had to pay for the other 2 wristbands. Enjoyed eating at Braccos the most!

Unfortunately our suite was dirty - stained linens and chairs, bugs on the windows and in the bathroom. The dishwasher was not connected to the cabinets and did not work at all. Hotel management was notified and were pleasant to deal with and did give a little refund for this. We will not stay there again.

There was no cleaning service , the curtains were so thin the lights outside made it like daylight all night in our room. My husband sat on the hard wood chair and it broke. Walking in our room was like walking into a prison cell. We joked we had lock down every night . No notice that the water park facilities were closed down when we booked. We chose this place cause my grandson had something to do there all to find out everything was closed down. Would of been nice to know this before booking. All an all I give it 3 stars cause the restaurant was great with a great view

The room smelled bad. The carpet had stains. The mini fridge was sitting on the floor, so you had to get down on your knees to access it. Front desk staff was rude.

Beautiful location and quieter than we expected considering adjacent water park. Comfortable bed. Nice dinner on outdoor terrace. Not so nice: long,long check in. Raggedly towels and no hangers. No recycling. Staff polite but pretty clueless about where to find amenities (laundry in our case). Not a great value for the money (especially second night, which was $100 more), but not many other options in the area.

This hotel was very run down. Our room smelled like mildew and the bathroom shower curtain had mold over it. There was zero housekeeping even though we were staying for 3 nights. We were not impressed and will not stay again.

liked the view, new building, water park Didn't like that the wifi reception was so weak on fourth floor of blue building, i could not connect my computer on a 3 day two night stay. (Room 415) That's unacceptable. Please fix it. Also didn't like only one open electrical outlet on each side of the bed if you want to have the lamp light plugged in. I have a c pap machine to help me breathe, and want to recharge my phone at night by my bedside. Would normally want a third outlet to recharge my computer at bedside as well, but it didn't matter cause the wifi sucked. Can't believe you built a new modern building in this era with inadequate electrical plug-ins. Whose idea was that?

The room was amazing but for $800 for 2 nights kind of pricey for the suite. The walls were paper thin and we could hear our neighbors talking and kids running at 6:30 AM both mornings. We didn’t get much sleep. Plus spending over $800 on our room it only came with 2 water park passes and we had to pay another $25 for 1 park pass.

Our room had a king sized bed and that was about it. Smallest room we have ever had. Turns out it was an add on bedroom for the larger room next door with the connecting door. The first night the AC/Heat fan ran all night. The second night it did not work at all ... made for a very poor experience. We had no phone in the room so we could not connect with the front desk that was in another building.

Room was great - we enjoy a king size bed and it was very comfortable. Next time we stay, going to make sure to book a room with a balcony. The weather was perfect for the weekend and the view of the water would have been great.

We had a wonderful stay here! Aside from being double charged a couple of times- the GM was able to refund those immediately, so it ended up still being a great place. The waterpark was great and clean. The Summerlake building was clean and very quiet- we were shocked with how quiet it was! The food at the restaurants on property was good, and the bartenders at the pool were great. The arcade was fun and clean as well. Cleanliness was something I noticed throughout the property. We would definitely stay here again!

I was quoted $$and charged me a third more. Then charged extra for armbands for the kids. Called and called nobody picks up the phone. The property has not been updated since it opened. I would never stay in this hotel again.

two bedroom suite was very small with no living area or balcony, and only one chair to share amongst 5 travelers. no towel service even though we set out our dirty ones before 9am. no breakfast. water park was amazing. fun arcade. excellent restaurants on site. walkable to anywhere in Okoboji.

We had a wonderful stay here! Aside from being double charged a couple of times- the GM was able to refund those immediately, so it ended up still being a great place. The waterpark was great and clean. The Summerlake building was clean and very quiet- we were shocked with how quiet it was! The food at the restaurants on property was good, and the bartenders at the pool were great. The arcade was fun and clean as well. Cleanliness was something I noticed throughout the property. We would definitely stay here again!

I was disappointed in the small selection of food and drinks in the water park and the set up to check-in to the water park caused long delays. The food at the waterfront and bracco was good. Could use more staff to serve food and drinks.

Went to the grill and had the BEST waitress ever, wish I had gotten her name! (Dark hair in braided pigtails) We have never had a bad meal in the 4 times we have eaten there! Rooms are always clean! Suggest the 6oz Filet!

Restaurant connected was great and easy to access. The check in time was right when the water park closed and i thought that was ridiculous for it being 5pm.... Room smelled strange and bed and shower were not impressive whatsoever. Not the getaway i had in mind.

Lobby was horrible, and our room was small. Advertised as 2 bedroom but didn’t even have a table. No place to get coffee in the morning besides in the room or leaving the property. Too crowded in the pool area.
