There is no washer and dryer when inparid for this room it said imthere would be a washer and dryer on site which is not true. Now I have to leave first thing in the morning before check out and go find a laundry mat

Smelled like cat piss, there’s no pool as advertised, had to carry our luggage up stairs there are NO elevators in the hotel. Trash all over the floors in the room & behind the curtains. DISGUSTING

The pool was filled in with concrete. They did charge us for our dog smaller than 25lbs and almost attempted to charge us for our 3rd child. So if youre a group of 5 or more watch out. The "Manager" if you could call her that was rude, combative, and dishonest from check in. It used to be a Red Roof Inn and i can see why they lost their licensing. Room was clean and decently comfortable. Basic cable. Free Wifi.

Paint fumes made me sick. But at least they are trying to fix the place. The people are very friendly. The service is excellent. But the beds are old. They are trying to improve. If you just need a cheap place to stay. This works. The pool is out of order and they are going to fill it in. That’s a mistake but that’s how this place operates. On the cheap. I would stay again.

Awful. The most unprofessional desk clerk. Had no record of my paid reservations and offered no solution or even attempt to reconcile the situation. As I left, quite angry, my husband stayed to talk her into looking again as we paid in advance and had a show to be at in 30 minutes. After half an hour she claims the reservations just showed up. No remote control. No phone wire in the phone. None of the vending machines worked. There were no pillows in our bed and she had none to offer us. Most disgusting place and people I've ever dealt with. Will never return

My reserved room was given away and I ended up with a different bed arrangement than I had requested. My key card was programmed to a different room than I had been given, one that was already occupied. There was supposed to have been a pool and it had been filled. The lobby was too heavily performed, probably to cover the moldy smell that was obvious in the stairway. There was no elevator to the upper floor.

Well i always use this hotel because of the fact i feel a little safer than getting a gotel in Forest..but this past sta i came in for an overnight with my 3 year old grandson,usually i am always on the first floor,i have been on the 2nd before,but with a 3 year old and having to climb 2 sets of stairs didnt do it for me,would be different if had an elevator..but other than that the place it a good place to stay.

My husband would not take a shower in the tub because it was nasty on the bottom. The room smelled musty when we walked in. The only decent thing was that the bedding was clean and smelled fine.

Towels and wash clothes have stains on them. The room door knob cover area was missing and the batteries were hanging from the broken door cover knob area. The door itself was not very secure, with gaps and loose latch/lock. There were gnats flying arond in the room. The air conditioner was set on 72 degrees and you could not change it. In order to check in you have to give $100 cash (it has to be cash) deposit that they put in an envelope, when you check out you get your $100 back. The clerk said it was because prior guest have destroyed rooms. She said if you dont smoke, have pets, or cook in the room you have no problem getting your money back. When I checked out no one checked to see if the room was damaged before she gave me my deposit back, so that didn't make sense. It is a rundown and noisy hotel. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone to stay here!

I had to pay a security deposit, which has still not been returned to me after calling multiple times and discussing with three different employees. They're blaming it on Expedia, but after contacting Expedia my refund has still not been refunded. Expedia should not have this hotel on their website.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Booked because supposedly pet friendly, and Exp ad said no pet fee. I arrived and they said there is pet fee, which you can see on Choice Hotels ad. Ok, but they need to change their ad on Exp. They said also $100 deposit, which is no problem except it has to be in cash. Most places take deposit as pre-auth. Maybe staff keeps the cash and I'll never get it back? But the real clencher is they asked if I have a kennel for my cat. Who kennels a cat?!? Said cat couldn't stay w/o kennel, so they canceled my reservation, at 9:30pm while I'm in the lobby. Probably decided to reject me because I was arguing with them about the pet fee, or could be racial discrimination. In any case, I would avoid this place like the plague.

This hotel was a GEM. I was pleasantly surprised. Conveniently located and quiet. Super affordable! I will definitely be staying again. There's no elevator. The only recommendation I have is with the size of the hotel, the rooms could be swept and dusted, cleaned a little better. Otherwise no complaints
