The pool was very dirty and small. Kids didn’t even want to go in it because of the conditions. It needs alot of scrubbing. There aas so much hair floating on top. Our room had a very odd odor as well.

The whole reason I chose this hotel was because it has a pool. The pool was closed for the duration of our stay without explanation. There was no body wash in the shower pump bottle, so I had to use shampoo instead—they don’t do soap bars. When custodial came in to tidy the room, they didn’t refill it that time either. There were no USB charging ports, so I had to go find an adaptor. There wasn’t an outlet on my side of the bed which was really, really annoying. The r over the bed didn’t work properly, so we The little things are the big things. It wasn’t a great stay. The staff was nice, but there wasn’t anyone at the front desk to check out, so I just left my key card and left.

The one reason for staying at this hotel was for the pool. They couldn’t give a reason as to why the pool was closed. Also, when I used the microwave, the tv would shut off and the lights would dim. Maybe something electrical going on. The beds were sooooo uncomfortable too. I’m concerned about mold or mildew in the air conditioning in that particular room I stayed in. During my stay when the ac was on, I would start getting super congested and coughing. I will never stay at this establishment again let alone recommend it to anyone. I stay at hotels at least twice a month. So incredibly disappointed.

Don’t stay here - tons of construction, loud noise during the week and no lobby. I booked a room and was never told I was going to be hearing drilling and hammering the whole day. No water either. Asked to change rooms twice and they didn’t move me because supposedly sold out! The manager gave me $30 refund for the inconvenience! What a joke. Call before booking or you will regret it.

I came from Missouri to visit family in Brunswick with my boyfriend and my 3 children. Booking was easy and affordable, the room was more than I could ask for for a mother with three small children. And we visited the pool and I got to do my laundry before coming home so knowing I'm going home to unpack and not have to worry about dirty laundry is a huge plus because you guys offer laundry downstairs! So thank you for the wonderful hospitality and service. Oh and breakfast was a hit too!

I chose this hotel specifically due to having a pool. When you have kids it can be a saving grace during a road trip.We were not forewarned the pool was closed. If I'd gotten advance notice I could have booked elsewhere. The bed was a little sunken in too. Otherwise, it was a decent stay.

The family suite was spacious for our family of 5. One of the main reasons I booked a room here was to enjoy thr pool with my 3 kids. Unfortunately, the pool was closes due to high levels od chlorine. We weren't able to go in it. The breakfast was nice with hot items and cold options. We did enjoy the lobby area with its various seatinf options. It was conviently located a couple miles from downtown Brunswick and Bowdoin College.

Was not told but this property is under construction with no lobby, breakfast or seating area. Lots of banging and noise during the week - I asked to move rooms and was told it was sold out! I tried to nap and literally felt like someone was banging in my room. Water cut off without warning! I only got $30 credit for the day with all the noise! What a joke. This property should be heavily discounted during construction and guests should be warned so they can chose a different place. Won’t be coming back!

We needed a room for the weekend while our home was being worked on. Our room was clean and comfy as expected. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool and access to cold juice after swimming was a big hit! Breakfast was great as well! The staff were quick to fill empty trays of hot foods, and plenty of options for those who wanted cold options or a piece of fresh fruit to go. We have booked this hotel multiple times for various family events, and have always received top notch treatment. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and our check in and check oit is always swift and efficient.

Have stayed at this property prior to recent renovations and was always pleased but the changes made are not all good. The platform beds are hard but mattresses lack support. When I entered the room the light switch turned on a light in the entryway, there are no wall switches for any other lights. Had to feel my way around in the dark trying to figure out where switches are on the lights within the room. Stepped on a bobby-pin left on floor and bathroom vanity had some gunk stuck to it. Not impressed. Turned in tv and got a message to try again later, the contract with the provider ended. In other words, no cable service and no local stations. Few selections available through you tube tv. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the property and would not recommend or stay here again.

We traveled during Xmas stay. Service was disappointing. When we went down to breakfast, we were told that the person running it had left an hour early. There was someone there trying to put it together, but it was cold. Not very impressed with the selection they had for such a big hotel. Maid service did not stop by once, even though we did request, they were supposed to stop by on our third day to change out towels and sheets, didn’t show up, had to go to front desk to get. Hoping that this was a fluke, but we will not be giving them another chance.

Hotel was very clean, updated rooms, fantastic staff encountered at every shift. Breakfast had many options and all of them good. Hotel is located just a few feet (literally) from the 295 exit ramp so rooms on that side were a bit noisy 24 hours a day. Otherwise it’s tucked in a space that’s easy to access and plenty of easy parking.

A quick overnight stay after a long travel day. We checked in late, staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable and plenty of linen. Only complaint was our fridge did not work, a minor inconvenience. Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast, but it was hot and ample supply. Coffee wasn’t great, that I think was probably the worst part of the stay (but again a minor inconvenience) and there was a coffee shop just down the road we could go to before another long day of travel.

The staff is great here. We wanted to stay over and they accommodated us without any issues. Breakfast was above average. Room was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here on a future trip to Maine. 2.25 hours to bar harbor and Acadia NP. 20 minutes to Red’s Eats. 1.5 hours to Mt. Washington in HN

Not sure if it is the normal now but our room was not cleaned by housekeeping during our stay. I always like to make waffles for breakfast although the breakfast here did not offer waffles. The hotel was nice and clean. We could hear kids running down the hallways and yelling some days.
