I would have given 5 stars, but the primary reason we stayed here, and it's about the only option in town, was the pool, which was not working. We rode our bikes here all day and this was our stayover, purposely for the pool. I guess I should have called a day or two before so I could change my reservation, but I did not.

Made reservation at this hotel because it stated they had a pool and breakfast. Received notification from them that the pool was not open because it was being repaired. I asked to cancel they said NO refund. Ok went anyway even though it was out of the way but didnt want to lose the money. Get to the hotel and no hot breakfast, coffee or juice. The water was bad and there was a notice that you couldn't drink the water. No notification prior to arrival and no discount. But i did have a good nights sleep!

The pool was and will be closed. It was 100 degrees out and i would have loved to take a dip but was told the pool is beoke and they are waiting on a repair fir the last 3 months that is so sad. The front desk lady said people are canceling reservation because of that. Its a nice hiotel. But they need the pool fixed

Paid a astronomical amount to stay here! Laundry was broken (I travel for work). Advertised outside pool, which was slime green and clearly had not been used for awhile. Staff was amazing! Just dont recommended the property.

the check in experience was great. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Very convenient as a jumping off point to get to surrounding areas including Missouri and Illinois. Only reason for not 5 stars, pool was not open and breakfast was sparse with no refills at 815 in the morning. Improve the breakfast options and would be a 5 star

The hotel has been declining in recent years but the new management is working to make things better and they are doing a great job. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was an enjoyable experience and we will stay here again.

Overall not a good experience. We had to switch rooms twice due to numerous issues and third room also had issues but by then we just gave up as was too tired. Bathroom sorry with hair balls in shower. Breakfast was not good at all.

Absolutely terrible experience. The bedding in multiple rooms was dirty and clearly unwashed — I had to switch rooms three times because of it. On top of that, some of the rooms were missing latch locks, which made me feel unsafe. The staff did eventually issue a full refund, but the overall experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had an issue with the TV screen frozen and was not able to enjoy the use of the TV, before going to sleep. Mentioned it to the front desk, said they would look into this, but was not fixed. Also, notice they did not refresh the room for my second day stay. Reused towels.

It was an excellent hotel for our 1 night stay. Mulitple nights would be fine also. Room was clean and very large. Bed was also very comfortable. They had a breakfast that was better than most hotels.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the property and my room. The lobby was cozy and inviting. My room was very clean, updated and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and I was immediately comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. It is a great buidget friendly option and I will definitely be staying again.

Older hotel, but our room was clean. Check in super easy. We left behind a bag containing very valuable jewelry. The manager of the hotel helped us arrange to mail it back to us, everything was still in the bag. Very much appreciate everything!!

When we arrived, the front desk worker told us our room was canceled. She said someone had called and cancelled. However, we did not cancel the room. She was not accommodating after we had just driven nine hours only to find out they had canceled our room. She tried to have us book a Motel 8 another hour away. There was no explanation how our room was canceled. She couldn’t tell us when the person supposedly called to cancel, the number of their person who called, or a name. It appears they gave our room away to someone else who was willing to pay more money. I had a confirmation number and email showing my reservation. It didn’t matter. If you want to be confident your room will be there when you reserve a room, don’t stay at this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the Chester branch. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were great (very comfortable) and it was far enough from the main road that it was extremely quiet. My one complaint would be the need for a better selection at breakfast. The pancake machine only worked one of the days I was there and the coffee machine was broken too on the regular side, thankfully I drink decaf. Overall it was a very good stay.
