The property could use a renovation. Considering the price point of the hotel is charging more of limited service hotel price. I believe the company can afford at least new bedding updates. The hotel is being maintained.

The room was non-smoking, but still smelled a bit of smoke. Maybe that was from the hallway, or maybe it was from someone having smoked in it previously. I was disappointed in the laundry services, as I bought detergent and dryer sheets to use, but when I went to use them, it took quarters, and there was no change machine and the front desk did not sell change. That's a pretty easy fix, and should have come up before and been resolved.

Had to key room keys redone the first 2 nights. Called office due to LOUD noises in rooms beside and across from us. Noise continued ALL night. 3rd night room was not cleaned. Went to desk for clean towels. Side entry door lock was broken. Anyone and everyone could enter the building at any time. Very unsafe!!!! The hallways smelled horribly of smoke. We requested a room away from smoking due to asthma issues. Tub/shower needs non-slip grips in bottom as my son and I both slipped.

No security, anyone can enter the building without the access card. Sketchy area

It Was a horrible experience. Rooms was completely filthy floors, dirty walls, dirty burn marks everywhere, hair everywhere Dirt everywhere. Bathrooms are so horrible if you wanted to go, you couldn’t.

This hotel was profoundly filthy and likely unhealthy to sleep in. The beds seemed to have bed bugs, the roofs are covered in water damage and mold, there’s cigarette burns on the bedding, and even the lamp shades are covered in dirt and dust. I’m hoping for my money back. It was so unhealthy we couldn’t even sleep for the short stay we had planned there.

The room I stayed in had drawings on the doors and walls done by a kids with crayons. There were holes in the wall and the bath had mold on the ceiling. I would never suggest anyone to stay here.

Well, the cleanliness was horrible, I reserved for non smooking room but upon getting there my room was given to someone and the only available room to equip my family was a smoking room. it was very late and we were very tiered after 8hrs drive, so I took the room when it was offered to me. The condition of the place is nothing to write home about. It has a distinct horrible smell.

Check-in was quick and easy. The room appeared clean, but the floors were a bit sticky and walking in white socks made them turn black. We stayed for two nights with my family; housekeeping cleaned the room and provided fresh towels after the first night. The hotel was quiet, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, my son had a few bites, likely from bedbugs, and I noticed small blood stains on the bed sheets, although none of us had any injuries. Breakfast was simple — cereal and toast with jam. Overall, it was an okay stay for the price, but addressing the bedbug issue is necessary.

The bathroom was disgusting!

The fridge is dirty and old. The room smells like urine. There are no staff members on property cleaning the tv is Very Small. The pillows are small as well.

Not a good place to stay. Heavy smoke and my clothes smell now. This place was dirty and not properly cleaned. poor room conditions and a lack of proper housekeeping, including finding insects, roaches, bedbugs, or insufficient amenities. Unresponsive staff and a lack of customer service knowledge.The owners are just in it to make money that's it.

Tv and heat didn’t work

-nonsmoking rooms smelled like nicotine and broccoli in the hallways -had to replace my key card 3 times before it would work -has wifi, just doesn’t work and my service was SOS -overall it’s ok if you’re hardly at the hotel

Bed was very hard and pillows were flat.

No proper sound insulation between walls. The whole night of stay was disturbing, as the people in the next room were making lot of talks/noises all over the night.

Poor soundproofing; you can clearly hear your neighbor flushing the toilet or using the restroom, which can disturb your sleep. The breakfast is poor, and the second batch of brewed coffee is made with the same used coffee grounds.

Quick local stay for me. Loved the king size bed & got some much needed rest. I really like the flooring too, no old carpet. Ice machine & vending machine where on my floor too the first added plus not having to go to another floor.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The front lobby area had a distinct awful smell like weed when we checked in at 11:00 p.m. We had to carry our luggage up stairs, if there was an elevator it was not made known to us. The stairs have bad stains on them and not clean. Has we started down the corridor, we could smell cigarette smoke eventhough we booked a non-smoking room. We looked at most of the rooms near us and they had the non-smoking sign on the doors, but you still could smell the smoke very strong. There were people (like homeless, drug dealers) hanging around. At certain hours of the night people were in their car playing loud music near our window.They did not bother us, but the thought was unnerving. We did not eat the included breakfast because of the appearance of the hotel. So, I cannot comments on that area. When we arrived at our room, one of the keys did not work and the toilet was running as well as the heating/air conditioning unit was not working. So thankful to have a handyman with me. He fixed the running toilet so we could sleep and pushed the reset buttons so we could have some air. Also, there were no towel bars to hang wet towels on or a soap tray in the shower area. Overall, for the price, it will do. But if you could find better, I would suggest so.

Friendly staff.

Unfortunately this stay was the worst stay by far! I have traveled all over and have never had such a terrible experience! The staff acted as if we were inconveniencing them when we asked for clean pillow cases and two more pillows. We never got any pillows or cases and we ended up buying some at the nearest store. This was disappointing to put it mildly.

Although my overall experience with booking airline tickets/travel and hotel, my experience with Expedia on my car rental was a rip off and a bunch of crap where Expedia took my money and I had to pay twice to rent a car. As far as this Econolodge at Andrews Air Force Base is concerned the employees were very courteous and respectful; the accommodations were very clean, and my three day stay was very quiet and restful. I would stay there again and recommend this lodging to friends, family and associates. I have no complaints and give this site a 9 out of ten stars and a big thumbs up.

I love it here very quiet and feel safe the staff are excellent with my accommodations.

Fist of all the experience at front desk was not good to begin with, she asked me multiple times about stuff that was already done and never asked before, felt like I was a thief and the place was a luxurious 5 star hotel. Later she gave me the key to a smoking area room and could not sleep due to the smell, was so strong that I could not concentrate or close my eyes, had to ask for a different room around 12 midnight! Came to the front desks and the guy gave me attitude whe tried to explain the situation, however he gave me the card to another room, so the next day I went out and came back, the given card was not working, came I late an all I wanted to do was sleep, so, I had to go back downstairs to get it fixed, that lady asked me you were given a key and he didn’t take a copy of your id , I said “ he never asked, and can’t guess how to do your job” at that point I was so disappointed that all I wanted was to leave that place for good but I could not cancel since it was already paid for, do not book in this place if you don’t want to have the same experience.

A very affordable and satisfying hotel if you are wanting to visit D.C or Maryland. The only two problems I have is that they purge the complimentary coffee at 9:00am and that their carpet in the hallways and stairs are dirty; therefore, I would like them to pressure vacuum their carpet and have complimentary coffee out 24/7.

Acceptable if you just need a place to crash. In a BAD area of town. Whole place reeked of pot.

Comfortable, well-run property in a tight-knit military community. I really had fun meeting with local people, taking walks, and getting to know the area. The lodge is a great value for the price point. I felt safe and welcomed.

We went to check in at 11pm, and the told us our reservation had been cancelled with no warning from them NOR expedia. plus the area was kinda sketchy, and the outside was dirty.

I would not recommend this place at all. My room was not cleaned properly when I checked in. I had to keep taking garbage out myself. I felt very unsafe. I requested a non smoking room but I could still smell smoke from other guest even though no smoking was permitted. I ended up cleaning myself the time I was there. Breakfast is cheap. Just cereal, muffins and white bread. The pictures online are not accurate and I felt very unsafe there. The cops were at this hotel quite often i was approached in the hallway by one of the other guest asking me if I wanted to make some money.. Stay away do not recommend.

Even compared to other EconoL\'s, and ExtendedS\'s, only the its convrnient location is worth it. Stay elsewhere just "1 min. away" is highly reommended.

One of the worst hotel inhave stayed. First: This hotel smells full of weed and cigarettes smells Second: The AC sucks and it wont cool down the room even at 62F. Third: Thier Wifi sucks and auto disconnects everyday. Fouth: Room service was not daiy. Fifth: Breaksfast was not getting refilled once their are empty and they are removing the items 5 mins before 9am.

This place is a dump! Do not go there. They collect a deposit they don’t warn you about. The deposit must be cash or debit card only. They breakfast is just cereal and toast, the juice is watery. Not ideal. I want a full refund…..
