Red Roof Inn & Suites Danville, IL

The hotel was fine. It was not a 5-star stay but we knew what we paid for. Staff was very friendly and tried to help but no vending was available

Pros: bed was comfortable, front desk check in was kind and helpful Cons: the whole place smelled worse than the city dog shelter I volunteer at. Bedding was dirty, soap dispenser in shower was broken and laying in pieces, bathroom door didn’t close, holes in curtains; generally everything was in disrepair. Wouldn’t stay again.

Pool was closed and was obvious it had been for a long time. Room had hole in wall, holes in covers, hole in ceiling with exposed wires from where smoke detector once was. Door lock was damaged air conditioner was super loud, after 11pm a sewage smell filled the room and bathroom door would not close. Management couldnt be found. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Beds was comfy, room was clean. The tub was a bit old and nasty looking and the bathroom fan sounded like a monster was in it. All in all, it was a good stay

There are better choices in Danville. Coffee and breakfast were not good. Staff was attending to multiple tasks and hard to get their attention. Air conditioner was noisy and hotel could use an update. Chosen for price, would stay somewhere else next time
