This place gets a solid "meh" from us. The lady working the second shift behind the desk saved the trip for us. She was extremely accommodating and saved the entire trip for us. We had asked for rooms with two Queen beds, even though we are a couple. Don't get a single Queen room on the parking lot side. There are jail cells that are bigger. They initially put us in a single Q room. You can't hardly move in those. No "real" breakfast and no pool. It's a micro-hotel alright. Tip of the hat to Abby who worked that second shift, she made things right for us. The place as a whole though? WAY overpriced and pretty meh.

The worst part was that my room had very worn carpeting an d needed to be cleaned. However, they were working on renovating all rooms as every room on the first floor was in various stages of being refurbished. Then, per the employee I talked to, they will do the upper floors. One floor at a time instead of closing the property. It was fine, I got he vacuuming I requested and the entire stay was fine.

We stayed one night. No soaps or anything in bathroom. Not even hand soap by the sink in the bathroom. The workout room was not in working order, breakfast-what breakfast. Oatmeal packets, fruit or yogurt. Pancake machine not working and was dirty anyway. Never again!!!!!!!

Good value. The suite we stayed in provided ample space, was clean, and had a comfortable bed. Limited hotel facilities but I knew that going in. It was the perfect landing spot for an out-of-state family looking for a short visit while we visited our son, who is attending UNH.

I believe they are beginning renovations on some first floor rooms. We were booked on the second floor and I’ve never seen a hotel this dirty. There was reddish brown spatter on the bathroom walls, not sure if it was blood or feces. There were blood drops on the bathroom tiles, or at least, something reddish brown that could have been scrubbed off. Mirrors line the bed behind the headboard. And those were not clean. In one of our rooms there were sludgy handprints on the mirrors and there was (possibly) urine stains on the window sill cushion and desk chairs. The beds were comfortable. The road noise (if that’s the side your room faces) is incredibly loud.

We were guests for nine nights. The staff was outstanding … friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was typical hotel, i.e. pancakes, bagels, cereal and sandwiches but was plentiful. Room was quiet and spotless. Overall, excellent value

The hotel was not clean and very run down. We had a suite and were told that we’d have e 2 Queens and ended up with a pull out for $300. The hotel is used for homeless people who were hanging out and smoking in front. There was dried blood on the sheets that were brought up. Such a gross hotel- never again!

Staff was very nice...hotel needs a major facelift. Smoke alarm was dangling off ceiling, carpet was dirty, just overall cleanliness was poor. Have Wyndham a bad name.

The property in general was not clean. Carpets and elevators especially and the bed runner at end of the bed was clearly soiled but still placed atop Clean bedding. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Continental breakfast was sufficient.

The entry area and lobby look nice, but the foyer smelled badly of Body Odor for some reason. It wasn't transitory - smelled from first entrance and still stinky the next day when we left. The cleanliness of the room was poor; the sheets had yellow stains, there was light debris on the carpet and quite a lot of black hair stuck to the walls in the shower and some on the floor. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet so we got a good night's sleep there even though cleanliness of the room left us kinda grossed out. There were also three people hanging around outside and at least one checked in that I would describe as crackheads. Hyperactive to the point of vibrating and wild-eyed. Don't know if this hotel is housing transients for some reason but that's my suspicion. Also the worst 'included breakfast' ever. It's essentially all the stuff you can get pre-packaged and cold at a gas station. Plus a pancake machine. Coffee was hot and fine, but 'ewwww' to the rest. All the staff I encountered were friendly, but recommend passing on this one if you have options. It's overpriced for the quality.

It was okay. The room wasn’t as clean as it should have been for a Wyndham. Instead of complaining, I cleaned it myself. There was a lot of black hair in the tub, shower, sink and on the toilet. There was a 3” circle sticky spot on the nightstand where someone must have had a drink. When we arrived at check in time they went to check to see if the room had been cleaned, and said it had been. The property was fine and the people at the counter were always attentive and kind. I was just a bit disappointed with the room cleanliness.

There was an old bar of soap with hair on it wrapped in the shower curtain. There were hair dust bunnies in the bathroom. There was an old power strip running across the furniture for the mini fridge. The tv was not usable because the WiFi message would not go away on the screen and the remotes would not work to enter the password. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Internet was extremely slow and staff was not able to help. The entrance going into the lobby had an unpleasant odor. Other than that, the room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV was very small in relation to the size of the room. Breakfast was late coming out, so we got breakfast elsewhere.

I was really surprised at how tiny the room was. Maybe I should have expected it by the “Micro” part in the name, at any rate, there wasn’t even a mini fridge. I’ve never stayed in a hotel without a mini fridge. It was bizarre. The air conditioning wasn’t working and it was getting warmer in the room. Up to 73F which is warm for people in New England. We set the temp to 68 and the cooling was not working. My partner examined the cooling/heating unit and took out the filter, it was filthy. When he washed it off with water in the tub it was finally cool in the room. The building is old, the carpet is old and dirty. The bed was way too soft so it was pretty much like a pillow and it caved in toward the middle. I brought my dog and I think the room was specifically for animals. The carpet had lots of stains on it. Not all animals make a mess, but I have seen this before in hotels. When you have a pet you are put in a dirty room. We will not stay there again. I don’t recommend it.

Very basic. I guess I expected a little something "more"... there was not even a small fridge in the room I cannot remember the last time I stayed anywhere that did not have a small fridge. No coffee maker or microwave, either, but those were easily available anytime in the lobby. It just did not feel very "inviting".... not anywhere I'd want to hang out for any length of time. Strictly utilitarian.Evening desk clerk was not very friendly...

The hotel was fine, although our room seemed a bit outdated and old. We had a room next to the highway so it was a bit noisy. Breakfast was limited to some whole fruit, bagels, yogurt, etc. Nothing really appealed to us so we we had to go out for breakfast.

I've seen so many reviews on the extremes (5s and 1s) and they don't reflect my experience. I think I got a renovated room--the carpet was clean, the shower was clean, and the beds were fine. The bottom sheet was stained but I think that was from laundering and the sink was full of scratches. The TV was small but the heating/cooling worked well. So, a 3 because (for the price) I had stayed in another Dover hotel with much nicer amenities. If you care about breakfast, this is not your hotel--bread and yoghurt and instant oatmeal. The staff was courteous and professional. I stayed two nights and the housekeeping did not make the bed or replace the keurig coffee or shampoo/conditioner but emptied the garbage. So, again, a solid 3 but (I would say) probably a bit overpriced relative to other Dover hotels I have stayed at.

Decent price, very friendly front desk staff. Room was super small, didn’t have a mini fridge in it, ice maker wasn’t plugged in on our floor, and no coffee in the room. Breakfast was late getting set up each day and it’s a bummer when you’re on a schedule.

Always liked Microtel's but this one is showing its age. Things are feeling a bit dated and worn out. It is still a relatively good value for the area and gives you a place to sleep. It is noisy on the side of the hotel that faces the highway.

Staff was slow and seemed not to I understand how to check in patron. Card keys were constantly failing to operate Staff were never at the desk. Always had to ring the bell Staff accents were so heavy and difficult to understand I will never Use this brand again!!

The staff was amazing. They were polite and friendly. They anticipated my needs and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and more. When I told the desk I was checking out at 4 am the next morning, the night staff have coffee and snacks ready for my departure. Thoughtful, clean, attentive and the room was great.

We were guests for nine nights. The staff was outstanding … friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was typical hotel, i.e. pancakes, bagels, cereal and sandwiches but was plentiful. Room was quiet and spotless. Overall, excellent value

Unfriendly staff. My room was went into while I was not there. I found a mouthguard on my floor that wasn’t there when I checked in. Asked the manager to come and get the dirty mouth guard out of my room and he showed up with no shoes on. Very unprofessional. The place was disgusting. The breakfast was bagels in ziplock bags. Will never come back.

The young man at the front desk was so friendly. We were able to bring our two dogs. We got a room at the end of the hall and that was very helpful when taking the dogs outside.

Room was not cleaned. We had to go to desk and ask for fresh towels. When checking out told front desk what happened. They asked if we left Do not clean tag on door...there was no do not disturb/clean room tag on the door! When checking out person at front desk not very accommodating. Asked that we don't hold it against them. This was our first stay at Microtel in Dover...and our last. We canceled reservations for a September trip.

We chose this hotel because of it's reasonable price. Was very satisfied . The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all that we needed for a comfortable stay. It is very nice for the price and we will use it again as we have family in the area.

We received a text so that I could take care of check in before we arrived. Once there, all I had to do was show my ID, sign a paper and receive the keys. It was just my daughter and I, we arrived pretty late. There were two very kind gentlemen there to welcome us. The water pressure upstairs was amazing. The water got nice and hot. The bed was comfortable and we both slept very well. The breakfast was nice. She had oatmeal and I had pancakes. Once again I received a text, this time so that I could check out online. Super easy and as we left I gave the key and they wished us a good day. My daughter goes to school at UNH, we were here for early move in. It’s about 18 minutes to campus. We will definitely use this location again! Thank you!

It was what we expected for the price, so it was good for an overnight stay. The bed was very comfortable. The pullout couch was not great, but none of them are really comfortable to me, so no surprise there. The room had a slight chemical smell, I assume that was from the carpet or carpet cleaner, as the carpet seemed old. The free breakfast was basic, but perfect for what we needed. The area seemed very safe. Lots of food choices within a mile and a Starbucks and Five Guys right next door.

Always liked Microtel's but this one is showing its age. Things are feeling a bit dated and worn out. It is still a relatively good value for the area and gives you a place to sleep. It is noisy on the side of the hotel that faces the highway.

We stayed one night. No soaps or anything in bathroom. Not even hand soap by the sink in the bathroom. The workout room was not in working order, breakfast-what breakfast. Oatmeal packets, fruit or yogurt. Pancake machine not working and was dirty anyway. Never again!!!!!!!

The entry area and lobby look nice, but the foyer smelled badly of Body Odor for some reason. It wasn't transitory - smelled from first entrance and still stinky the next day when we left. The cleanliness of the room was poor; the sheets had yellow stains, there was light debris on the carpet and quite a lot of black hair stuck to the walls in the shower and some on the floor. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet so we got a good night's sleep there even though cleanliness of the room left us kinda grossed out. There were also three people hanging around outside and at least one checked in that I would describe as crackheads. Hyperactive to the point of vibrating and wild-eyed. Don't know if this hotel is housing transients for some reason but that's my suspicion. Also the worst 'included breakfast' ever. It's essentially all the stuff you can get pre-packaged and cold at a gas station. Plus a pancake machine. Coffee was hot and fine, but 'ewwww' to the rest. All the staff I encountered were friendly, but recommend passing on this one if you have options. It's overpriced for the quality.

The staff were all very kind and very accommodating. My room was clean and properly cleaned when necessary. Breakfast was on time and fresh. Coffee was excellent. Other customers were friendly and kind as well. I would definitely return without any hesitation.
