I was very disappointed in the quality of my room, lamp was broken, bath tub was plugged and I had water up to my ankles while I showered, tile was cracked and pain was chipped. Pool was closed and breakfast was sparse- went to a restaurant! Would not stay here or again or recommend it to others!

Hotel is clean and inexpensive. Maintenance is lacking. Had to change rooms because shower was dumping more water in tub than shower head. Second room marginally better but livable. Fire extinguisher service tags in building marked 2017. Michigan law require yearly inspection and certification. While there fire alarm was being worked on and had to evacuate for several hours due to a gas leak

There is no elevator. We were given a room on the second floor. (My husband has trouble with stairs)I couldn't get the heat to work and there was some sort of black dirt on the floor in front of the furnace. I spoke to the front desk and they quickly put us in a different room on the first floor and the heat worked great in that room. The staff was friendly and polite. The breakfast was a nice treat, the only thing that could be improved on would be to add a protein to go with the waffles (which were delicious). Overall it was a good experience and I will stay here again.

Not a bad place except for the lack of elevators which is my fault for not looking into. Went into the room and in the toilet was a setbof cleaning gloves floating in the bowl. Honestly I thought it was a condom at first until I realized what it was. Cleaning crew threw them in there and didn't flush. Seems like an odd way to dispose of gloves.

2nd shift was not helpful pool is closed though advertised as open breakfast was a waffle no butter or anything but syrup no juice no milk 2 type of low fat yogurt cold cereal but again no milk definitely not worth 100 a night

Parking was convenient as was the closeness of our room for letting out our dog. But the heat was off when we arrived and took a minute to warm up. Not the cleanest room or the most updated hotel but worked for what we needed. The staff was super nice. We left for an event and worried we hadn’t pulled the door closed. They were sweet to walk down and make sure for us. On that note, the doors in hotels tend to fully close and click without extra effort. We prefer that security of that type of door- while we are distracted with bags and the dog to not also have to pull it and click it.

My door lock was broke! No one came to fix it! Landlord would nt l et anyone but maintenance guy fix it. I was told they didnt have a guy! Pool was closed..... hasnt been open since covid!!! No one told us before check in! Bath tub the stopper was broke. Towel rack fell off wall!! Why arent things fixed??

Reasonably clean. Friendly staff. First room more water came out tub spout than shower. Second room marginally better. All fire extinguishers had 2017 inspection tags. Required to have 2024. Contacted fire chief. He said he contacted owner to take care of. 2 days later no change. Fire department there first day of stay for fire alarm issue. 4 th day had to evacuate for several hours due to gas leak. I moved to different hotel.

Hot tub and pool did not work although it did not say when I reserved the rooms that’s why I reserved the room found a bug in our room. The breakfast was horrible and the staff wasn’t real friendly.

Smells like smoke everywhere, bed sheets had yellow stains and dirt on corner. We didnt even stay the night and couldnt get our money back for 2 nights and i was fine with that if that tells you anything.

We arrived to a dog barking in one of the rooms. The shower had hair and thick soap scum in tub. The chair and lampshades were falling apart. There was black dirt or mold blowing out of heater. I woke up in the morning with the black substance all over the bed. We used to like staying there but they have raised their prices and the place has went downhill. Wont stay there again.

We had a reservation and they sent us into a dirty room and said there wasn't any other rooms available. It took almost 45 minutes for them to get the room cleaned and it definitely wasn't clean. Hair in the shower, food and stuff in the floor, the microwave was missing a piece to make it functional and it was also dirty

The room was very clean and loved that they have removed the carpet and replaced it with the LVP flooring. We stayed 3 days and the staff was very helpful and friendly the entire stay. Our autistic son had an accident in the bed over night and they were great about coming in to room, changing out the bedding and giving our room a fresh once over with fresh towels and mopping of the floor. The only 4 we gave them was for the toilet in the bathroom. The handle is cracked and it makes a high pitched squeal when you flush, but that was something we can work through. Thank you Quality Inn and Staff for making our stay wonderful!!

I arrived with my Orbitz reservation in hand. Was told it didn't exist even after I showed it to the rude, unpleasant clerk. I asked if she would call Orbitz. I won't talk to them she said. I'll call I told her,no I won't talk to them . I again stated This was a valid reservation. She then stated she had only worked three days.I said would you call someone more experienced? I was then told to leave and she threaded to call the police. I immediately called them myself.They had no issues with me and I got another hotel.All said and done she was a miserable, horrible , mendacious incompetent fool who should have been fired. I'm sure her response will be different. But you can be sure reading this anything she says differently is a lie.

Stay at this hotel one weekend. Unfortunately had already booked in a nonrefundable room for the next weekend and there were no other hotels around. When we got there for the next weekend, the hotel had canceled our room because they oversold it, so they canceled all Expedia reservations since it was a third-party. Expedia took care of it, but do not trust this hotel! Rude unprofessional staff that offered no resolution

I liked the convenience of getting to this location. I was coming from Imlay City which is very close to I-69. This made it easy to get on 69 to Durand. This place is also fairly close to I-75. The price was good too for an overnight stay.

Trash should be able to be changed every day during stay and fresh towel not be the responsibility of the person staying in the room to change the trash and take to the dumpster and need better options/ food for the breakfast
