Great stay. Nice pool and hot tub.

Our King sized standard room was clean and comfortable. However, it was compact. It took us a while to find the ironing board and iron, which was tucked away behind an awkwardly placed mirror. There was no towel rack near the sink, and we only had one sink. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet, so my husband and I both slept very well. The ice tray in the mini fridge wouldn't close so we had to hold it back in order to close the fridge. The pool area was not great. It looked dirty. So did the hot tub. One of the railings leading down to the hot tub was wobbling side to side about half a foot, dangerous. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of items, but the tables were dirty and we had to clean one off ourselves. Overall, I'd stay there again because of the bed and quiet room, but I hope they tend to the pool and hot tub area.

The pool was amazing. It was just the right temp. It wasn’t cold like most places. Breakfast could use some help with remaining hot, and the waffle dispenser took forever to fill a small cup.

Hot tub didn't work most of the time I was there, and the hot water was inconsistent - 2 mornings my shower ran out of hot water. Otherwise rooms clean and helpful staff.

Downtown cedarburg is great and this property is close by. But for the love of GOD clean the pool

The area is nice, the hotel is easily accessible, close to shopping of a variety, close to highway. One major concern of security is the west entrance at the back of the property. It is well lit, but the door going into the hotel does not have a functioning lock. Despite there being a place to swipe your keycard to get in, the door doesn’t latch well. If this were fixed, I would definitely stay again.

The property was average. Not sure I would stay there again. I was not happy when I had to pick up a wrapper off the floor in my "clean" room. I had to make the bed since whomever cleaned our room doesn't know how. There was a padded mattress cover but wasn't helpful and the mattress was very dated and uncomfortable for us. The hot tub was OK....Only half the jets were working. Breakfast was free and better than nothing at all. We utilized an entrance closer to our room and it was supposed to be secure entry, but we got in without a room key....The door didn't lock. Staff were friendly.

Nice pool area

First room had a plumbing issue. Main reason for stay here was for the pool and hot tub. It was so dirty. Very moldy with kids names all over put in the mold. Disgusting. Poor jets in the hot tub - filter probably needs to be change. Staff was very accomdating but the pool was terrrible. Second room was comfy!

The room was not cleaned well. Felt dirty. Base of the toliet had stains and residues. Smelled musty in room. My sheets were pilled into little balls and felt somehat scratchy on my feet. The sheets were also dirty and felt a little sandy.

We checked in later in the day, and immediately noticed our room had not been vacuumed or swept. The armchair was also covered in dust, and filth. The front desk had a major language barrier; after explaining the room was dirty and we wanted a new one, they said “okay, and what is the problem?” Our next room was cleaner, but there was a lot of hair in the bathroom, dust everywhere, and an entire bowl of cereal left under the sink where it clearly hadn’t been swept/vacuumed under in ages. (photo attached, loose cereal was visible under the sink) The pool waterline tiles are disgusting and need to be scrubbed/scraped. There were names etched into the filth, graffiti-style. I had stayed here before and knew it wouldn’t be fancy, I appreciate no-frills, but this was borderline gross.

MOLD EVERYWHERE!!! We had 5 rooms and three different floors.. all covered in MOLD!!!

We were very disappointed with how run down and filthy this property was. The pool and hot tub were extremely used and dirty, our rooms chair was curb worthy, and our sheets even had large stains. The pillows were flat, the floors were dirty, the toilet barely worked and the toilet paper holders were broken. The peep hole on the door had a rolled up piece of toilet paper in it even, it’s probably still there because we didn’t touch it. The bed was hard and noisy, overall weird vibe in the hotel in general.

The room was not clean, there was a large stain on the comforter, and the bathtub and toilet had hair around it as well as dirt in the bathtub. The pillows were terrible, and that was my 22 year old sons assessment, and they can sleep anywhere. The black out curtains did not keep out the light out of the room at all. I am normally not one to leave reviews at all, but this was worth mentioning.

Hotel lobby renovation was nice. The room smelled damp and old. The carpet was stained and the sheets were also washed but stained as well. The continental breakfast was free but the eggs and sausage were horrible. Will not stay again unless it is the only place available.

Linens were dirty and room seemed dated and worn out

We have stayed in this hotel two other times prior to this visit and this hotel has gotten worse over the past year. This visit, the smell in the room was musty and moldy. Turned on the air and went out. When came back the the floor under the air conditioner was soaking wet and so was my bag. The front desk was very accommodating however the next room had the same problem. The staff tried but the hotel is just getting old and run down.

Clean and comfortable room.

The rooms were stuffy and filled with mildew. The breakfast wasn’t topped off so there wasn’t much food left and what was left was old.

There wasn't any hot water to the sink. The tub dripped loudly the first night. The shower felt like there was a max hotwater limit as it never got past warm. I was happy with the room. They did offer for me to move but all my things were unpacked and they wouldn't have helped me move. I also came international so i did not have a corkscrew. The hotel did not have any to lend. Grocery store is across the road, and a Starbucks in same parking lot which was very handy.

Our stay was pretty quiet except hearing footsteps in room above. Convenient area

Furnace was very noisy and kept starting up every little while even though we turned it way back. Was way too hot.

Sleeping was near impossible until early morning hours because the people above us were noisy and constantly moving around until after midnight or even 2am. We were there for a special event and needed to be rested but it was impossible to sleep with the squeaky floors and constant noise from above. There is NO soundproofing.

The shower in rm 214 had no water pressure

We have stayed here twice and it's been a great experience. Clean, pleasant, free parking, very comfortable beds and it's pet friendly.

Clean hotel with plenty of room in the king suite

Requested upper floor and away from elevator and assigned 1st floor, next to the elevator. Breakfast pastries and coffee were stale. Very old and uncomfortable mattress. Our room was worn, TV needed to be fixed, toilet was clogged, carpet was stained and we found garbage under the bed. Upkeep does not seem to be a priory at this hotel.

Mattresses were uncomfortable

The whole hotel smelled. The rugs were dirty. The beds were uncomfortable. Tv was not good. Towels were super thin. Keys did not work well. Only good thing was older lady that was at the desk one time was asking to get keys updated was very nice. Others were rude.

The pool and hot tub were fun for kids. The evening staff was helpful to find extra blanket. The check in person in afternoon was very rude and used swear words in front of grandchildren. Very unprofessional

Very helpful and kind staff.

The hotel itself was fine. Average place with a slightly higher than average price. I was irritated with the service. I wanted to leave a vehicle there for maybe 2-3 hours before check-in. (We had two for our trip). They finally allowed me but I called multiple times for an answer. Did not impress me, and whomever I spoke with on the phone did not seem to care much about customer service. It was enough to make me think “I won’t go there again”.

Hotel was convenient for our travel plans. It was relatively clean. Hotel staff was not friendly, nor helpful upon check in. The breakfast had minimal food and after I got hard, stuck to the pan eggs, there was no warm food out and the tables were not cleaned. An older gentleman, with a cane sat there for a good 10 minutes waiting for eggs to be replenished. Finally, I went over to the kitchen area, knocked and knocked to see if I could get some assistance (food for him). Finally, we saw a woman standing back there, watching a movie on her phone. She did not speak English. She said something ( I think) about eggs and meat, 10 minutes.... The second day of our stay my son was stopped on his way back from Starbucks at 7:00 AM and told we had to be out of the hotel by 9:00 AM - because they were cutting off all the power in the hotel. We received a call at 7:45 AM to the room that we needed to be out by 9:00AM. (Check out was supposed to be at 11:00 AM.) We hurried to get out. No breakfast, no apology. The front desk person did recommend a good breakfast place to us, however good; it still cost us $35.00. We expressed our disappointment with the person at the front desk upon leaving and she said she would note it on our card. No one reached out to us. Very disappointing. Will never stay there again.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. So easy to walk to stores and some restaurnts. Plenty of free parking. Beautiful, clean room.

Staff is excellent

The staff person on duty was friendly, professional, and helpful. Room was clean and appeared well maintained.

Day staff accommodated early check-in, which I appreciated. Evening staff was rude and apparently there was not one extra blanket in the entire building that could be provided to me. Rooms (stayed two nights in different rooms) smelled horribly of mold/mildew which made me sick to my stomach. Rooms just look dirty—you don’t want to walk around them without shoes. Sheets were worn. Incessant pounding above me at night. Won’t go back.

Convenient to shopping and dining in historic Cedarburg, WI. Property is a bit older and maintenance (shower head ring not attached to wall, large stain on rug near bed stand, deadbolt lock not working on first assigned room) has a bit to be desired. Would stay there again, though, as price was decent.

Was concerned about several reviews about bedbugs and roaches. Addressed this at check-in. The receptionist was understanding, offered to show me the room and cancel my reservation without penalty. The room was fine no bugs. There was a bad review about hard pillows and dirty linens - I had 5 pillows, soft to firm and linens and blankets were clean. When my key did not work, again the receptionist responded promply to resolve. The bathroom was dated and worn, but clean. Carpets were worn and stained, time for replacing, but I have no complaints and no bedbug bites. The surrounding area felt safe. Overall my stay was fine.

A really pleasant, nice and warm stay in Wisconsin. Two (2) restaurants within the walking distance, even in zero Fahrenheit temperatures, and a Meijer (Walmart-like) store. Enjoyed my stay.

We have stayed at this location for a couple of years now and it seems like no monies are being invested back into the property. Our bedsheet had a stain on it consistent of blood and the under shirting of the bed had quite a bit of dust on it and appeared to not have been changed in weeks, maybe? While I don't expect the staff to be cheering for a parade, it seems like they would rather not be there, and that is disappointing when you are coming to the area for an exciting event. While I appreciate the included breakfast, it would be nice to see a little variety if you are staying 2 or more days in a row.

Friendly service, great breakfast, clean and comfortable.

Room was comfortable, clean overall. Very strong chlorine smell in the lobby,. Breakfast was terrible, including the coffee. We ended up staying a second night in the area and moved to another hotel for a very little additional money that was a big upgrade.
