We really enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean, organized, and very comfortable. We loved being in the country, enjoying the deck/porch and the big patio in the back with the fire pit. The roads were fun to drive, with easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Recommend this home highly. The drive to the Arc Encounter was easy. The Creation Museum is a bit further out, but certainly easy to get to. Owner Josh was very responsive when necessary. You will enjoy your stay here.

This was a fantastic place to relax. It stormed so we couldn’t enjoy the fire pit, but it was set up nicely. We did enjoy the porch, especially watching the kittens play. Having fresh eggs and meat delivered was amazing! A good spot to relax after visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.

We booked this place because it was off the beaten path but close to our destination. We enjoyed the country. The deck is inviting. We did not use the fire pit, but it did look inviting. We would rent again!

We have rented for over 20 years with VRBO, and have never rented anything close to the cleanliness of this home, the quietness of this home, the beautiful surrounding of this home.We absolutely loved our stay. There was so much room. The laundry room was phenomenal. Having a table with more than three chairs was fantastic. The pool/air hockey table, made for some laughable moments. The sound of nature upon waking and laying down to sleep was so relaxing. The sunrise is perfect on the little hilltop and the sunset captures your attention as well. The home owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The ONLY issue we had (my group was all 50 aged women) was almost tripping and falling over the eight cats that were constantly underfoot, going outside to drink coffee or eat a sandwich was not something we were able to do because the cats would immediately pounce on us, and try to drink out of our cups or to get on our plates and eat our sandwiches.It was not an ideal situation as the whole reason we rented this home was for the outside area and it was kind of awkward looking in the pantry and seeing the cat food and knowing that if we did not take the responsibility of feeding someone else’s pet every morning, they would not eat for the entire four days that we were there. AND we learned early that the family’s dog will come eat all the cat food if you feed them and don’t watch out for him. Apart from that, this is a perfect home for anyone.

This gem is perfect for a family or extended family to relax after a day at the Ark or even the Creation Museum. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen had the tools we needed to have breakfast and dinners at the house. We enjoyed sitting around the firepit in the evenings and seeing the cows graze in the field next to us. The home is super clean and close to restaurants and shopping too. We hope to come back again sometime!

The house was very clean and well taken care of. The little pool table was amazing and the fire ring was great as well. But we would have appreciated if the kitchen was better stocked with salt and tin foil and also plastic .

A total of 5 adults stayed here. The house was in a beautiful country setting. There were also cows, goats, dogs and cat on the property. We were visiting The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. It is a 20 minute drive to the Ark , a little further to the museum. The house was fairly equipped with basic supplies. There were a few small stores nearby to pick up some perishable food items. There were quite a few streaming channels available to watch. A miniature game table available for entertainment. We enjoyed our stay and we would consider staying there again.

We had such a wonderful relaxing time at your place. Sitting out at night by the firepit and looking up at the stars, quietness at its best. Some of the most beautiful sunrises to enjoy coffee off the deck. We enjoyed watching the cats and kittens play outside. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was very clean. Country’s Edge #2 was absolutely fantastic for our family! Looking out the back door at the beautiful land is a breathtaking sight! Fire pit was a great plus at night under the wonderful, starry skies. This was a great place that is situated about 20 minutes from the Ark Encounter, and just under one hour to the Creation Museum. This home is spotless and adorned with wonderful Bible verses on the walls of just about every single room. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere here! We loved it!

Ark and Creation Museum a must. Beans cafe in Dry Ridge has the best coffee. A must getaway for our family. Brought parents to see and we could t have enjoyed it more. Home was quiet and comfortable beds for a good night sleep. Extremely clean and Josh was easy to get ahold of if needed. Would stay again.

There was supposed to be 5 of us older ladies from our Bible Study but 2 had to cancel. We were all very pleased with the house and the surroundings. Had everything we could possibly need. Really enjoyed spending relaxing morning & and evenings on the beautiful back deck. Loved the country air. Beds were super comfortable. Everything in the house was beautiful. Definately would make a return trip.

2 couples in Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. We loved our stay at this country abode. It was clean, peaceful and comfortable. We greatly appreciated having access to a washer and dryer for our stay. The beds were comfy, showers worked well, and the decor was tasteful.Very easy to contact the friendly owners, and we loved the outdoor cats who visited us each day (feeding them might have had something to do with that ).The wifi did tend to be spotty - so something to keep in mind if that's a need for you. And just a couple of recommendations for some updated kitchen pans and can openers - but those aren't "deal-breakers".A very convenient location for visiting the Ark, and an easy drive to the Creation Museum! Loved our stay. Owner was very quick to respond to messages and was very kind. The house is several miles off the main road, but that wasn't a big deal. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we're back up that way!

We absolutely loved our stay. The host was wonderful and responsive. No problems whatsoever. The home is 13 miles from the Ark and 53 miles from the Creation Museum. Worked well for us. 2 Helpful Hints: #1 = Stay on the main roads (330 and 30). My GPS kept trying to get us to cut across the mountain. There\'s great scenery but it led us down 3 roads that had signs saying "No outlet". #2 = The water here is HOT - which makes for great showers but those with younger children will need to be careful about that. A really fantastic place to stay!

We were in the area for a 2-day conference in the Answers Center at the Ark Encounter. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the Country's Edge #2! The location was perfect; close enough to the Ark, yet out on the beautiful rolling countryside. We didn't have any trouble with our stay and what little conversation we had with the host went very well. Our only regret is that we never had enough time to just veg out! We would have enjoyed sitting around a campfire or just relaxing under the porch roof, especially during a rainstorm! The Bible references on the wall are a great touch; thanks for the encouragement!! We would definitely stay here again - God Bless YOU!

Ark and Creation Museum a must. Beans cafe in Dry Ridge has the best coffee. A must getaway for our family. Brought parents to see and we could t have enjoyed it more. Home was quiet and comfortable beds for a good night sleep. Extremely clean and Josh was easy to get ahold of if needed. Would stay again.

We came here to visit The Ark. It was SO peaceful and relaxing! This space provided all the comforts of home and a safe space to kick back and relax. The views of the landscape and the roaming cattle beats staying in a hotel any day!

The drive to the property is on a winding, narrow country road. The views from the property of rolling, green Kentucky hills is just the beginning of the tranquility that awaits. The house is in an isolated location which adds to the peace. Relax and enjoy time away from the rush of daily life here. We look forward to visiting again.

2 couples in Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. We loved our stay at this country abode. It was clean, peaceful and comfortable. We greatly appreciated having access to a washer and dryer for our stay. The beds were comfy, showers worked well, and the decor was tasteful.Very easy to contact the friendly owners, and we loved the outdoor cats who visited us each day (feeding them might have had something to do with that ).The wifi did tend to be spotty - so something to keep in mind if that's a need for you. And just a couple of recommendations for some updated kitchen pans and can openers - but those aren't "deal-breakers".A very convenient location for visiting the Ark, and an easy drive to the Creation Museum! A total of 5 adults stayed here. The house was in a beautiful country setting. There were also cows, goats, dogs and cat on the property. We were visiting The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. It is a 20 minute drive to the Ark , a little further to the museum. The house was fairly equipped with basic supplies. There were a few small stores nearby to pick up some perishable food items. There were quite a few streaming channels available to watch. A miniature game table available for entertainment. We enjoyed our stay and we would consider staying there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean, organized, and very comfortable. We loved being in the country, enjoying the deck/porch and the big patio in the back with the fire pit. The roads were fun to drive, with easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Recommend this home highly. The drive to the Arc Encounter was easy. The Creation Museum is a bit further out, but certainly easy to get to. Owner Josh was very responsive when necessary. You will enjoy your stay here.

This was a fantastic place to relax. It stormed so we couldn’t enjoy the fire pit, but it was set up nicely. We did enjoy the porch, especially watching the kittens play. Having fresh eggs and meat delivered was amazing! A good spot to relax after visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.

Loved the view....could use more cooking Utensils pans and just to let owner know the sheets on the master bed and the little bedroom next to bathroom had not been changed we stripped and washed them but it was a Great stay...

The house was very clean and well taken care of. The little pool table was amazing and the fire ring was great as well. But we would have appreciated if the kitchen was better stocked with salt and tin foil and also plastic .

My older parents and I came here to see the Ark and Creation Museum. It was so nice that this place was only 20 min from the Ark. most of that the typical mountain roads to the house. This home is beautiful and welcoming! We love the decorations and theme! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Josh and their rental. Very clean, plenty of towels and wash clothes. Some extra toilet paper which is helpful also. It’s so nice not having to pack extra towels and toilet paper. Thank you for that added welcome! Plenty of kitchen supplies to cook with and in great condition! Josh was super helpful. Make sure you read the mailbox numbers bec we pulled in the neighbors yard at first lol
