You can't beat the price for the location. They stored our luggage the first day for free while waiting to check in which was awesome. Had to pay after checkout for luggage storage though. The room itself was not very clean. We found a cockroach crawling in the kitchenette and there was hair in the beds.

Need to know that the cash deposit is only refunded directly to you if you check out during normal hours of operation (9am-5pm). We had to check out early, so HAD to have pay pal or something called zello. Staff insisted every us bank customer has zello contract but we are from a university town in Midwest that did not have a contract with them. We don't do PayPal either. Not necessarily ours or the apartments fault but would have liked to know. If they inspect the apartment as ok, we will get the money back but had to send to our friends PayPal account. Overall though, for a family of 5 this was a great place to be in Manhattan and nice to have kitchen etc. BTW, our view on tenth floor was directly of the empire state building.

The location of this property is truly impressive, and the money you pay for it is quite reasonable. If this is what you are looking for, this is a great deal. But you should not consider this option if you are looking for a comfortable space, 24/7 front desk, and other things you might expect from a hotel. In general, I had the impression this used to be an apartment building currently in the process of becoming a hotel or aparthotel, because around the hallways you could see guests like us (two families with 6 people in total sharing a "large" room with a kitchenette), and elderly residents. In any case, I´d recommend the place if you are looking for a great location, and you are not too keen about comfort/cleanliness.

The location was great close to everything. Fernando was nice and easy to communicate with. We felt safe the room is your typical small studio space. The staff was welcoming and always on site. Vending machines downstairs and restaurants near. No issues with getting our deposit back. Would definitely stay here again.

I liked that we were close to Time Square and location was walkable from apartment. I didn't like the $100 cash deposit. Nickle and dime you for everything. The pictures were a bit deceiving. All it is, is 3 beds, dirty bathroom and a kitchenette. Had to buy spray to clean the bathroom. They sent the final email instructions the day before leaving. All instructions should've been sent at check in. Just a money grab, to keep the deposit. On vacay, Didnt even look at an email until I returned home because I had an early morning flight out. Not worth the price.

I didnt like that we were not told about washing our clothing,they had no phone to communicate with front desk! I feel if its one or two people this place is perfect but not a large group cause its very small

I was with my family for a weekend, and staying here was the best thing we did, it's close to everything, you can walk to the Empire State, to the Summit to Times Square, it's close to everything, the girl at the reception super friendly and the apartment very clean, it had everything you could need. The space was perfect, we were 5 people and it was enough, thank you Empire Apartment, I will return

The location is perfect!! The room was hot in the summer and the ac is literally next to ur body on the bottom bunk so the top bunks hardly get any air so I would warn the people on top bunks lol. For whatever reason the towels smelled like mildew and the tv is on the top side so the people on bottom bunks can’t see. Over all it was okay and if I had to I would stay again .

It was clean and tidy. Small but expected. During the stay we were comfortable coming and going at any hour. We walked out early and mid morning and came home early evening and evening late around midnight and still felt safe walking around the area. We enjoyed our stay at this location and would come again.

Generally we liked the place and service. The location is oerect and we had a nice viewnon the Empire State Building. The only claim is a check-in and check-out time. Both are not in a right time. Anyway, I recommend the place because of good price and great location 👍

While the overall experience was just fine, I did have some issues with the check in/out process. There was just one lady running the reception, while she was awesome I felt bad it was just her. It was very busy and I had to stand around for 45 minutes just to get the keys. Checkout was no different. A lot of people checking out at once and there was a massive line down a very small hallway. Be prepared to give yourself about an hour to deal with check in and another hour to deal with check out.
