I did a lot of research and came upon this property. It was cute and quiet. Parking right outside the door makes for easy unloading. It was perfect for a couple. Yes you can walk to universal but it is a little bit longer than what they advertise. There’s a big hill after the walk and there’s a shuttle provided by universal you can use to take up the hill. We ended up ubering back after a long day of walking (11$). Which was perfect. Overall I was happy with the property. Clean and updated. They had small breakfast provided and coffee in the am (oatmeal and muffins). Perfect to get the day going. Would stay here again

I lived in LA for over 25 years so I guess this should give me some cred. The hotel was easy to locate; one parking spot came with the room and to boot, it was right in front of my room. Check-in was smooth but if you're a smoker (which I am not), you will be charged a deposit. The staff was courteous and playful, which made the check-in process easy after sitting for hours in LA traffic. There are several restaurants you can walk to. I chose an indian food place across the street (SO GOOD!) The room was clean with nice faux wooden tiles. The hotel itself felt safe. THE DRAWBACK: Listen, I hate soft beds. I just do. I feel like I am sinking in them. SO if you are like me, expect to have a bit of hard time sleeping. I like firm beds and wish I had known but -= that being said, that was the only drawback to booking the space. Staff is friendly and efficient. For an overnight stay in L.A., the rates are very reasonable and you can leave your car parked there at no additional charge.

We try to stay here every time we come to universal studios… at least 2-3 times a year. We originally chose it for the proximity, but we keep coming back because we love it. The rooms are always clean, the beds are always comfy, the guys that work there are great! We will definitely keep coming back

This was a house behind the resort. We we re shokes how filthy and old tjis house was. My sister recently passed away from overdose so my parents we r e here from Florida to bring her lids together for comfort and relief from the stress. The carpet was filthy. The blinds and window treatments were broken and old. This ho6se needs to ne upgraded. The kitchen floor was dirty....My parents paid over $1,400 for 4 days. My mother spent time cleaning instead of relaxing. When you pay that kund of moneyto stay somewhere the environment should ve pristine

This little tucked-away gem never disappoints, and the price is right for the Studio City area! The staff and owner always go out of their way to make sure I get the best and most quiet room. The room (no carpets yay!) and newly remodeled bathroom are impeccably clean and there is housekeeping service every day, without having to request. Good shopping and restaurants are about two blocks away one direction and about 5 or 6 blocks in the other. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Studio City!

What a lovely little gem we found! Seems to be completely remodeled from it's old 1950s original build but still has such a fun retro vibe to it! Reminds me of old I Love Lucy roadside motels that are so homey! The staff was lovely and very attentive. I think we'll try their small cabins next time we're in town!

This hotel and its staff were just astonishing! Fantastic location, rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is friendly, nice and professional. I will for sure, come back again and f I am in the nearby. No hesitation. Universal studios are 5 min away with uber, for less than 10 dollars. You save then the parking fee.

I did a lot of research and came upon this property. It was cute and quiet. Parking right outside the door makes for easy unloading. It was perfect for a couple. Yes you can walk to universal but it is a little bit longer than what they advertise. There’s a big hill after the walk and there’s a shuttle provided by universal you can use to take up the hill. We ended up ubering back after a long day of walking (11$). Which was perfect. Overall I was happy with the property. Clean and updated. They had small breakfast provided and coffee in the am (oatmeal and muffins). Perfect to get the day going. Would stay here again

No smart tv nor swimming pool but there is microwave and mini fridge in the room, iron and coffee maker. Good decoration and finishings, Also it conveniently located: Sprouts, trader Joe's, Universal Studios and plenty of restaurants and stores around it.

Awesome place! Everything was extremely clean, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience was great. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

just a great little hotel I'm hesitant to give a great review because I don't want it full when I need to stay here. The parking next to your room is excellent especially with my motorcycle. Its also a short distance to the main restaurants of Studio City I'd leave the car home and walk or uber to save on parking. Nice staff and a quality bed. great spot
