Lexington by Hotel RL Miami Beach

Once you add in the $36 resort fee and $40 a night parking this place becomes pretty expensive. The hotel was having construction done whilst i was there so did not use any facilities. Nothing is avaliable in the lobby, no water, coffee or snacks. Wouldnt stay here again

Hotel has construction and lots of noice on weekend and Manager Ashleyth told us she will give us refund tolf us as a manger of rge hotel she was unaware about construction but she didnt responded to Expedia which she told us to contact for refund since we booked through them.

Pretty average place but super excited for them as they’re going through a renovation. It will be cool to come back once they get everything updated. Our AC didn’t work, they didn’t offer any compensation just an “you can cancel” response…and the windows are very thin. Pool deck and pool bar was pretty dismal.

The elevator was broken, there was no hot water, and old facilities

The rooms were adequate a little small but not bad. Its the 7am jack hammers and saws for 8 hours that were not good. Also the AC in lobby stopped working last 2 days. Great location. Always had to ask front desk for towels instead of pool area. Come back in maybe a year when construction is completed.

This was a wonderful stay for us! Beach is so close and the pool is nice. Plus with the resort fee you get chairs and an umbrella at the beach! 10/10 would stay here again

Overall the hotel has great advantages like having the beach just right there, but it needs lots of repairs. The bath tub clogs as well as the bathroom sink. Painting is not good at all. Parking option are terrible. The hotel only has 20 available parking spots at $36 per day. Once they are sold out, figure it out. Overall rating 2.5-3.0 stars and that’s only because of the pool and the beach

Construction going on at the hotel. They had blue plastic over the windows. They was drilling on the wall outside my window early in the morning couldn’t really rest because of all the noise. Had to pay for parking by the day because hotel does not have parking.

The pool bar was closed on 4th of July weekend. The front desk didn't explain where to get the towels for the pool.

There was construction going on when I got there - very noisy in the morning, which woke me up multiple times around 8:30-9:00 am. The pool was shut down, the restaurant was shut down, the vending machine ate my money... It was like I was staying there during their maintenance season... not cool! I should have been made aware of this before I booked my hotel.

Great easy check in and okay room. Sheets a bit dirty but I bring my own anyways.

One step up from a roach motel. Bring your bedbug spray and shower shoes. But it’s close to the beach, so that’s good I guess?

Room had black mold in it behind the bed room smelled terrible and front desk very unhelpful got an email stating the tiki bar was open completely shut up and their appears to be construction but idk front door to hotel doesn’t lock at night very strange smell again throughout hotel room was dirty as well dried rice all over photo I was in line to address these issues but I got out of line before I got to rhthe front to discuss this with them

Hotel is dirty when we arrived we were given someone else’s room when I entered people were in the room after our room was changed to another hotel staff said they did a mistake The room and bathroom very dirty Music in the hallways super loud I don’t recommend this hotel at all

Pool was dirty

We stayed here for three night, and on are first night we seen a roach on the wall. They said they would send someone up to check the room but couldn’t tell if someone did or not. There was trash under the beds and doesn’t look like any one vacuum ever but the staff was nice and polite and the manager gave me the money back for the resort fees. And the pool looks dirty we went to the beach that’s right behind the hotel I wouldn’t stay here again!!!

The room floor was crazy dirty, it seems it’s under construction so it’s dirty, by the pool area is disgusting, on top of that they charged me twice for my room and still have not refund me. Changing my whole plans

This property was not as expected and the charges were excessive. The bathroom was very old and the tub needed an extreme makeover. Had to shower in flipflops.

On entering the hotel you can see how tired and dated it is, however all areas are clean. Check in straight forward, we were not informed about the offer of free towels you are allowed for around the pool. Room is spacious and the view over looking the beach is fantastic. The toiletries are cheap the bed sinks in the middle. However the noise levels are the worst. Huge gaps under the door means you hear everything. Thin wall mean you hear everything. Old windows mean you hear everything outside.

Our shower had zero pressure and we couldnt take showers.

The oceanfront room we had on the 10th floor was amazing! The room was clean, fresh, ready to go for us even though we were about 5 hrs early for check in. The view was great! The sunrise from the room was beautiful.

There is no microwave in the room, worst thing there is no microwave even in common area/kitchen in the property.

I was sad that beach front rooms windows are shut. It would have been a much better experience if we could open the window and enjoy the breeze.

Terrible hotel. Very small bathroom old No amenities, no restaurant Very loud every one slamming doors in the morning. And lots of noice from the street One elevator only. Just bad !!!

I always stay in this Hotel, love location, staff are great, the only inconvenience is, not microwave in the room or at the lobby, this is very necesary specially when you travel with children.

The hotel have a perfect location. It was clean and in good condition for the price. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Specially Hector at front desk he was polite and willing to make our stay the best possible

I stayed at Lexington Hotel for four nights and the third morning a noisy machinery and construction noise woke me up before 8 am. I requested a room change and I got a response until 11 am and the room was lower quality than the one I booked. I felt really disappointed with the response to my request by the Hotel staff and manager.

The manger she was everything I will be back again

Hotel staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Had an amazing stay. Will definitely be coming back again!

The staff was so rude, the hotel didn’t look anything like the pictures. And the didn’t even give us a lot of towels

Everything was great except they charged us $390 for no reason and said it was a mistake and they will refund our money and we have yet to get a refund!

This was my third stay at the Lexington, and sadly, the service was the worst so far. The hotel is under renovation—which is good because the location and potential are great—but staff attitude is unacceptable. The front desk is often empty, no bell to ring, and when someone does appear, they seem tired, uninterested, and unhelpful. I asked about the ice machine and was told it’s on the 5th floor—it wasn’t working. Went back down and was asked, not told, to check the 10th floor—also out of order. No ice the entire 5-day stay. Housekeepers were far friendlier and more helpful than the front desk staff. There’s a great bar and grill downstairs with burgers and salad, but no flyers or mention of it anywhere. Another fail in communication. On the beach, the attendant told us at 1:30 PM he was closing in 10 minutes and made us set up our own lounge chairs. He was lazy, stood by doing nothing, and I had to beg him just to set up an umbrella—which he clearly didn’t want to do. Overall, the staff make you feel like you’re a burden. Lexington needs smiling, energetic professionals—not people who act like guests are an inconvenience.

The staff was amazing!! The hotel is currently under construction but besides the noise it never bothered us. I will say the walls have no sound proofing we could hear the neighbors unzip their luggage. It was clean, and in the process of being well taken care of. You couldnt trade the view, the experience the staff provided!

We booked this property through Expedia and were really looking forward to it. We did a cruise for our honeymoon and this hotel was our last stop before heading home. Unfortunately, it was a horrible way to end our honeymoon. The hotel is under big construction. Our room had a beautiful view but that was the only positive thing about the entire property. I have summarized our room below: - Yellow/brown stains on pillow and bed sheets - All rooms have adjoining doors that don’t lock properly and you could hear every single thing the person next door does. Let’s just say I know the entire life drama of our neighbour because she was on the phone for 2 hours when we were trying to sleep - TV did not work properly and kept disconnecting - Management is nowhere to be found and night shift staff was very rude/dismissing of my safety concerns. I did not feel safe sleeping in an adjoining room that would not lock properly. He said “all our rooms are like this” - Dirty carpet - Shower tub was 100 years old and dirty - Windows were not sealed properly and wind noise was extreme (corner room) - Woke up to construction noise - Shower did not have a curtain (half glass) and water spilled over to washroom floor - Plug beside bed did not work - Luggage storage room was in their management office Expedia has been trying to get me a refund for 2 weeks now and management is non-responsive and/or nowhere to be found. I have never had such a horrible stay at a hotel. Avoid at all cost!

This hotel has very friendly staff and a clean place to stay. It is just steps away from the beach and restaurants.

Hotel is in a great, quiet area and really close to touristic places and to main highways, room was really clean and renovated it, Hector at the front desk was really Friendly and informative, definitely recommend Lexington Hotel for a Family getaway!!

Great location. Perfect spot for getting around as the bus stop is located out front. CVS down the block and beach on other side

Everyone at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Left our luggage with them before and after check in/out. No computers or gym, but you are able to use their sister hotel holiday inn just 2 hotels down. I liked the area of the beach, a little less crowded than south beach. You need your key card to access bathrooms, which made me feel more secure. While I liked the less crowded beach, you do have to walk a bit to get to restaurants/bars, but there is a free trolley that goes around.

Excellent location, right on the boardwalk, very close to the Fauntainbleu, rooms have been remodeled, stafff is responsive and friendly. On the down side - room windows don’t open, the showers aren’t updated and feel like motel level quality even though the rest of the bathroom is updated. Overall a budget friendly option for an unbeatable location on the boardwalk.

The place is really nice and quiet. The staff is friendly and cooperative. Ocean view is beautiful and the hotel is a 2-minute walk from the beach.

Good location and access to beach. Hotel is a 2 star so don’t expect anything else but still a good stay.

Loved being right on the beach and within walking distance to everything.

The only thing I was disappointed with was the restaurant and sports bar being closed temporarily for renovations. There was no mention of this by Hotels.com I was looking forward to the convenience of getting my meals right there at the hotel instead of having to go outside to different restaurants.

Do not stay here! The pool bar was nothing more than a dirty run down hut with a few bottles of bottom shelf alcohol. Rooms were big but a tiny bathroom that you could barely move in. No luggage rack or seats to sit in the room. We did not eat at their restaurant based on the condition of the so called “pool bar” as they were owned by the same company. Luckily there was a great hotel on the beach that we had amazing drinks and lunches at and then went out to dinner at a few different restaurants. Hotel was also undergoing some construction.

There was construction it was noisy there was no coffee food or even water readily available. I have never had to go to another hotel to get food, snacks drinks and coffee. Weird!

Nice hotel but no dining options

The hotel is under construction but the staff make you feel welcome. Upon registering at the front desk you receive two blue wrist tags so you can enjoy the beach chairs. You get two bottles of water and the pool is great as well. They have a Tiki bar by the pool and if you enjoy smoking that is allowed as well just ask for an ashtray. The only problem we had is the food is sub-standard. We ordered a pizza that was burnt and very flimsy, the sweet potato fries were not done and the burger buns fell apart.

The facility was definitely showing its age. Also, there were multiple ice makers not working so we had to hunting to find one that worked. Also, all the the washing machines & dryers were marked, "Out of Service". We were also surprised to not find complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning.

This hotel was pretty but the description is deceitful. There is no dining on property. They sent us three hotels over to a Holiday inn. The Tiki bar was open one day of our six day stay and the bar was very limited. The restaurant - if you open the steakhouse doors the room is filled with toilets and is clearly not a restaurant. They really need to advertise under construction. The towels were very thin and stained. The room was nice and close to the beach. It was nice to have umbrellas and chairs included on the beach. However if you're looking for a property that you have amenities like dining and drinks please don't listen to their description as it's non existent. I would have stayed down the road elsewhere if I had known as that was #1 on our wish list for this trip. Very disappointing.

After reading reviews i actually thought I would be walking into a dump. It wasn't as bad as the reviews though. It can use some updates. No breakfast no restaurant and a bar by pool that didn't have any choices. I wouldn't stay there again unless the prices are much cheaper.

It was right on the beach which was nice. The staff did the hotel was friendly enough. We tried to eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel, waited for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged us so we left.
