Guest reviews

What guests think

AI-generated summary based on recent guest reviews

At Marriott Stanton South Beach, travellers praise the beachfront, walkable location and generally welcoming staff, while repeated complaints focus on a long-term elevator outage, occasional pool and hot tub closures, and rooms that can feel small or dated. Cleanliness is often praised, but several reviews cite mold, maintenance issues, or dirty balconies. Amenities like direct beach access, two pools, a gym, bikes, and on-site dining are appreciated, though umbrellas cost extra and parking and resort fees feel high. Expect a well-situated stay with warm service, while being mindful of trade-offs in room age and maintenance.

Hotel is okay for one or two nights with children. I don't like that they sell umbrellas at the beach to their hotel customers. They also don’t have any bikes for children or teens. Bikes are very big. Beach chairs are taken away at 6pm so you can't enjoy sunset on your beach chairs.

Our stay there was SUPERB!!!!!! Everything we wanted was at the hotel. The walking distance to everything was extremely close. And outside at there bar ROGER and JAKE were absolutely outstanding!!! Both days we were there drinking, Roger made a connection with not just with my husband and I, but everybody who came to the bartop. It was an amazing experience and it was actually the day the FIFA World Cup started!!!!

They took our stuff from our room two days before our scheduled leave and for 36 hours they couldn’t find them including our medical pillows. And when they found the pillows they couldn’t find the rest of the stuff. An absolute travesty
