Pricing over all in that area is high, parking is $55 a day including taxes but all hotels charge for valet parking in that area. I must say parking is terrible so you really have no choice but to pay. Drinks at that pool bar are very over priced in my opinion, but I guess it comes with the territory. I loved that I was given a bike to ride complimentary for 2 hours.

We booked this hotel last minute, and weren't sure how it was going to be - since photos and reviews can sometimes be deceiving, but my Wife, Son and I were VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED at how nice this hotel really is!! We live just across on the SW Coast of Florida, and we'll be sure to tell all of our friends that it is the PERFECT place for a "Staycation". We will surely be back again sometime soon, as we truly loved everything about the hotel, and found everything to be top notch! It is very clear that they take much pride in maintaining this hotel, and we don't have a single thing we can recommend to make it any better! We originally planned to go out for our breakfasts, but instead ended up having breakfast in their restaurant on the 2nd floor for BOTH of our mornings, and were very happy with the food, and service. EVERYONE they have working there went above and beyond to make us and all of the other guests feel welcome and well taken care of! We even had lunch by the pool, and enjoyed that too (Great Tacos!), before heading out to the beach for a nice swim in the ocean! We also borrowed a few (Complimentary) bikes for an early morning bike ride on the walking/bike path, and loved that too! (The path goes directly past the hotel) Looking VERY much forward to our next stay!!

Buyer beware: you will be nickled and dimed for EVERYTHING. Amenities fee does not include an umbrella for the beach, which is a crime at $25/day in the scorching sun. Also for a $35/day fee you can rent a refrigerator because the fridge in the room only holds mini bar drinks, also criminally high. They are on sensors that will immediately charge you even if just being touched. The hotel is very basic and not worth the price tag. Pay a bit extra and you’ll pay the same amount after all the expenses. This is a great example of late stage capitalism charging you for breathing. Lastly, there was a terrible dj playing extremely loud and bad edm music most of the time. Was not at all a relaxing trip.

Amazing vibe. Excellent service Room was nice but I could hear too much noise from the other rooms and hallway Also the $25 for a beach umbrella on top of the resort fee is a little much especially when other hotels include it.

It is in a perfect location in south beach.Central to everything. I loved that you can take a bicycle from the hotel for 2 hours daily. fun way to explore

OK, Miami Beach is always going to be expensive but this hotel, given its overall condition was seriously overpriced. We were informed at check-in that the hotel would soon be closed for renovation, but not before. Hotel generally was in a poor condition and the only saving grace its location. Check-in was a very good experience as was check-out (apart from the overcharge) but the Valet parking was ridiculously expensive

Fabulous location. Pool and beach are great. Rooms are so-so. Property is a bit worn. And apparently it’s been bought out and will soon close and be completely renovated.

The hotel’s location is great, we stayed there for 3 days. Our room wasn’t even cleaned once, I specifically went down to the front desk to request for our room to be cleaned. It wasn’t still done, when I told them about the situation they said that room charges for 2 days will be refunded but however they still charged me. I wouldn’t recommend to stay at this hotel.

The staff was nice however the hotel is HORRIBLE! I wouldn’t advise ANYONE to spend their money at this hotel! My first night at this hotel and there was a high cockroach in the room. I immediately went to the front desk and all they wanted to do was change my room. It wasn’t until someone contacted them about the issues that they attempted to make it right with not charging me for one night and giving me breakfast vouchers. Once it was time for me to check out and I was at the airport I only was credited $92 dollars! That’s not even half for a one night stay at this DUMP! They constantly charge your card with these hidden fees. The other ladies that traveled with me was hit hard with fees that wasn’t communicated and they knew nothing about. So be aware! You have to pay a resort fee but if you want to go on the beach you still have to pay $25 to get an umbrella! What is the resort fee for? This place is rip off and I don’t advise anyone to spend their hard earned money here!

Had to switch rooms FOUR times in order to have a clean bed. By the time we were in the fifth room it was 3am, and the bed had a dark bug looking thing in the one bed. Went to the front desk and was told all computers were down for a nightly reboot and would have to wait until 4-4:30am to “try to find” a clean room. Horrendous experience, I cannot believe this hotel was rated as highly as it is. Location is nice by the water and that’s it. Beat up, run down, and dirty. Tried contacting corporate and heard nothing.

The room was not clean when we came. There was sand in one of the beds, sand on the floor and there was a teeth floss on the floor. The rooms are not sound proof, we could hear everything from our neighbor. The walls are very thin. None of the days we had the towels we needed and the didn’t new toilet paper. We asked to change rooms after the first night, the lady at the reception told us that we would get a text message later to let us know when the room would be ready, we never got this message and when we went back to the reception they told us there was no note in the system. The location of the hotel is very convenient, the staff is nice but I would not stay there again.

10/10 for the incredible staff and location! The pool and lobby are also beautiful. I gave the stay a nine, though, because the furniture in the room needs serious attention. It’s very outdated, and as someone I overheard put it - it looks like college dorm furniture somebody would give away for free. Other than that, everything was excellent!

We booked a standard 2x double bed room for 2 adults and a 13 year old. The tap was leaking and after 3 days we were finally heard and moved into a much better room (thank you this was a blessing). That room was small, the door to the bathroom was not very private and one of the beds sounded like it was going to break every time you turned (we are not huge people) even though we paid for 3 people to be in a room we were only allowed two loungers at the beach and had to pay for an additional one for our daughter. With regards to the room we were upgraded to (I think it’s important to speak about this one is it was a suite) the main bedroom bed was not comfortable, the bed was really quite hard. The lounge could have done with a fridge that could be used considering it was a suite and a dining room was there. The walls are thin either side of the suite and we could hear both rooms every day. We also got woken up twice by people knocking at our suite and ‘oh sorry wrong room’ but appreciate that it wasn’t the hotels fault. Over all, much more pleasant being in a nicer room I cannot see that the suite is an option on trivago to book.

I liked that is was centrally located and near the beach. I did not like, there was no heat in the room, the bed and mattress was old and made loud creaking noises, its probably 20 years old, My wife and I need a chiropractor because now our backs and neck are in pain. The room I was giving when asked for the upgrade has a conference room underneath near the window staff was re-arranging a dinning area as early as 6:30 am and we couldn't sleep. we hadn't taken vacation in 3 years and the sleeping arrangement and no heat affected our health.

Loved our little balcony that looked out at the city and the ocean. Bed was comfortable, and there was a good selection of amenities. Mini bar was nice. We only stayed one night so did not get to utilize the property much.

On the beach, and very convenient, walking distance to dining, stores, beach. It was a great experience overall. The fridge was full but had a note that everything is on a sensor and if any product is removed they will automatically charge the credit card (even if the product is put back), but there was no prices showed. WHY NOT PUTTING THE PRICE LIST NEXT TO THE FRIDGE? For this reason we wanted to not have any surprise so we did not even touch any product offered on sensors. With this being said I recommend this place.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly valet. Check in was quick, however the front desk staff appeared pretentious. They did not provide any direction as to how to locate the room or described any amenities. The valet doubled as a bellman and explained some of the details of the property. The room was small, although colorfully decorated was outdated and not in the best condition. There was a huge gap in the door, the bathroom smelled musty and there was hair in the shower, walls and counters. The beds were stiff and linens basic. We used the beach chairs and towels provided with the room. Although we paid the extra person fees to have 3 people in the room, we were asked to pay extra for an additional beach chair. The beach chairs and towels were also dated and poor quality. The waiter at the beach was very friendly and polite. Overall, the location was the best thing about the property. I would definitely not stay again.

I was here for work and chose the Royal Palm due to: being a Marriott property, locality on the beach, not too tall -not too small, close to Ocean Drive, rates. I love RP due to their great front desk team including but I didn’t get all names: Elizabeth Anne, Raymond, Maria, Lucia is an angel who helped me track down a missing item my coworker left at the wrong place. Mark was so helpful too. The front valet team rocks: special shout out to Roberto and Angel. Yoga instructor Mona Lisa taught a wonderful class on the beach Saturdays which I enjoyed on my day off. Thank you!

Great location. Staff was very nice. Something happened with cleaning staff. Got to the hotel 4 hours early and they said they would do there best to get us a room. Room is supposed to be ready by 4. We finally got our room at 5:30. Gave us a few things (2 drinks, free breakfast).

Staff was really nice and the service was awesome. Elizabeth is one of the managers and her customer service is second to none. I was having some issues with my room. Staff and guest service were excellent. However rooms and bathrooms were dirty, towels were ripped, and many there were many billing errors that required lots of confronting. We even had our wallet swiped and money was stollen at the pool, hotel manager and security would not allow us to see the security footage. Overall the staff was great but I will be coming to this hotel again.

We always have a wonderful time at the palm. The front desk staff Christopher and company are delightful and always answered all of our questions and was extremely helpful with our needs. We always were able to get water after our workouts. Breakfast everyday was fantastic! You have an amazing hostess in marijana and waitstaff in Pedro, Esther and Erwin They remembered us from past stays and were outstanding with our needs. Excellent!!! The beach staff of Nixon and Ricardo were excellent, they were welcoming and wonderful and kind the entire stay as we went to the beach everyday.. Our Room was fantastic, the view was phenomenal... we had balcony and beach view. Stunning!!!! Excellent stay and we cannot wait to stay with you again in the future!!!! Would recommend staying here anytime in the future!!!

My dad and I stayed at this conference while attending a conference for work down in Miami. The hotel was very conveniently located right on Colin Street walking distance from lots of restaurants and shopping and the beach. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean.

The lobby fragrance and loud music was over powering. The floor hallways as well. I think the air system pumps in a fragrance to cover up another smell. Pool water was freezing. So no one used the pool to swim. The breakfast was way over priced and they messed up our $66.00 orders Service was good as was the coffee. Excellent location on the beach and short walk to Espanola Way. Stayed here in 2021 and same experience. Time to look for a new hotel
