Closer to a 3 star stay, certainly not a 4 star! The resort has lost its charm, quite a bit rundown. Pool was terrible, filthy, hot tubs not working, chipped concrete. Restaurants all were closed and housekeeping was VERY slow to deliver essential items.

Zermatt is clean and comfortable and provides lots of room and facilities to either recreate or relax. Large gym, great warm pool and comfortable jacuzzi. The Lobby Lounge is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and a bbq sandwich or eggroles. We’ll definitely be back.

The room was fairly clean and comfortable. The toilet literally shot out water when it was flushed. We were most looking forward to the spa and pool amenities. The co-ed steam room was not warm at all and smelled like an incredibly moldy old shower. The saunas were separated by gender which was very disappointing because we were there as a male/female couple for our anniversary. We decided to try the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was not hot, the jets didn't work and the pool was disgusting.

Great location for golfing many different courses. The hotel is quaint and cute. Really my only complaint was the swimming pool outside was very dirty on the bottom of the pool rocks and such. Also, the Jets in the hot tub did not work. Overall, I would stay again

The swimming pool was closed and that was the main reason we wanted to stay there. Service at the front desk was super slow. The lobby was backed up with people waiting to check in. We cancelled our stay, mostly because the pool was closed. Management didn’t even offer us any upgrade or any free service to make up for the pool being closed.

I've been staying here and enjoying the property for years, but was really disappointed with this stay and may not ever return. Room wasn't very clean, the room needed updating (small tv, dirty walls), found a broken drinking glass and garbage from prior person staying in room behind dresser and dresser had been moved to help hide the spill. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Hallway smelled like cigarette smoke and cafe in the hotel obviously wasn't staffed good as there wasn't a huge crowd, but wait for food was 1.5 hours.

This property was probably great in it's hay day, but has suffered from years of neglect. We had to hold our breath in some areas from terrible smells that have long been ignored. Carpets are threadbare and fraying in common areas and guest rooms. We requested extra pillows for our room and were told the hotel didn't have any (!). The pool area is dirty and poorly maintained. Staffing appeared to be limited for one of the busiest weekends of the year. The bakery was sold out of items at 7am, which points to poor inventory management. We will not be staying here again.

It's a beautiful location. Our room had some mildew in the bathroom from the Cleaners missing spots. Not good sign. AC was absolutely atrocious. Had then send a tech to look at it. He closed the service call with no Remedies. Could not get the room warmer than 75 the whole trip. This is the second trip at zermatt where the ac sucked. It's enough that I don't wanna go back there it was so miserable tey8ng to sleep.

My room was nice but it had a bad smell. I didn’t ask for another room because I thought they were full. After two nights, I couldn’t take it anymore and they gave me a new room and said they’d put that room out of commission until they checked into it. They didn’t offer any compensation. My charging cord on my phone gave out. I asked at the front desk if they had any extra ones. They said they did but they couldn’t let me borrow it. They said I could leave my phone with them and they’d charge it. I felt that the customer service was lacking considering the price of the rooms.

Dirty and overpriced. The room was dirty with wrappers and pieces of food on the floor. There were no fitted sheets on the beds, just a flat sheet laid down on top of the mattress and then the comforter. Customer service was not great. Hot tub was out of service and “heated” pool was freezing.

Love this hotel, Come at least once a year just to get a way for the weekend. They have a great bakery on site and two places to eat makes it easy. Kids love the mini golf and pools. But lately the hotel starting look ran down and out dated several lights in the room were not working. The pool was very dirty looking the pool floor and side tiles looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a very long time made the pool feel dirty and the ceiling in the pool area was moldy also

The pillows were too small and flat especially for a king sized bed. Also I found the sheets to be scratchy and the mattress not too comfortable. Honestly I've had better or comparable stays at motels for much cheaper. I was hoping for a refund because we stayed here for our anniversary but it wasn't great!

I am not one to leave reviews, but this experience mandates notice to other travelers… I did not think this resort was that old, but the entire experience felt like we were staying in 1992… I reserved what was described as the penthouse suite… That would imply that you’re going to have a roomie comfortable Semi modern room at worst…, The air conditioning would not work. It was extremely noisy… The room is relatively small versus the description with a lovely view of a parking lot… Would definitely not recommend… On a positive note the front desk staff was at least friendly. The general area is very beautiful… Absolutely time to update this property or bulldoze it and start over.

Room was pleasant but no fridge and we were put a looming ways from the pool , restaurants and miniature golf. We want ed to use the pool one night but it closed at 8 and it was 7:15. We didn’t get a towel or sheet change or bed made after our first night.

Nice place. I appreciated their beautiful and adorable mini golf course that was included in the resort fee fees. Though I didn’t use the pool, it did look tempting and the water felt nice temperature. The room was comfortable and homey. I do wish there was a mini fridge and microwave, and that I could cast my device to the TV. There were a lot of channels to choose from though. They need to upgrade their port connections for chargers. They only had USB, and a lot of things use USB-C now. I liked the soaps and other toiletries. They smelled good. I like that our room was quiet.

Over-priced and dated. No valet and front staff at check in did not appear or behave professionally at check in, but was better at check out. There's a resort fee, but not sure what it's for since there is no cleaning for FOUR days, but you can ask for towels. TVs small and old.

I came for an official trip. Considering the nature of the trip, this was prudent to have a good night sleep and comfort to get recharged for the next day. After I made reservation, I made a phone call and requested for a room of my choice . I am so glad that all my requests were understood and considered. The front desk is super helpful and all the members of the team are friendly and knowledgeable. I am glad that I chose to stay at Zermatt.

Upon checking in, we discovered the heat was not working in our room. The front desk told us to wait 3 hours outside of the room for them to fix it, rather than giving us another room. We waited. They couldn’t fix it, so after 3.5 hours we were given a different room. The main building had a horrible smell from the boiler being broken. Overall, we were really disappointed in our experience here.

They have terrible customer service in that it is non-existent. I tried calling multiple times over a billing issue and was hung up on. I tried to call Wyndham and they gave me an email to which it bounced back. They illegally charged my credit card and won't answer my phone. Never will stay here again.

The largest issue we had with this place was that they didn’t have our room ready for 2 hours after the check in time. We did not get our room until 6:00pm. Then they did hardly anything to remedy the situation, they upgraded our room to something I didn’t really want. Our phone, in the room, was broken and it took 20 minutes to get a hold of someone at the front desk. What if there was an emergency?!? The room was also dirty, the floors were not cleaned, we had no towels and there were cobwebs on the lamps. Also the blinds were broken and yoi could hear everything through the walls, I did not see a single staff member the entire time during my stay after initial check in. The swimming pool was crowded, people were climbing the waterfall and jumping off and running all around, seemed really unsafe. Although my family and I had a decent time I would never stay here again. They must be extremely short staffed or have all together stop caring. Poor service

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and had a great walking path that wrapped around the hotel. It was very safe and secluded, even if it was a bit off the beaten path. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again if ever in the area in the future!

Very nice staff. The rooms are a little run down & we and our other guests did not have good water pressure. They do not offer daily maid service but you can ask for what you need. No restaurant open except for coffee and a pastry to go.

I was charged $35 extra plus additional tax and resort fees for a No Show after a cancelled flight. I called the resort to inform them of the flight cancellation, so it was not a lack of communication. How does it cost more than a nights stay for me not to stay there? The restaurants do not open for breakfast until 8am and close early.

Zermatt is a nice place. The room was great. Premises was quiet. I adore Midway. Problem was, I specifically searched hotels that have a restaurant on the premises. It's my number one requirement when I book. I want the convenience of not having to find a place to eat for every meal in a strange town. We arrived on Monday, to stay two nights on our way to Idaho. We were informed that the restaurant doesn't open for business until Wed night!? I was FUMING. Part of paying a higher fee for a "resort" is having the use of a real restaurant. They should make this clear in their hotel profile on Hotels.Com. FYI, when we arrived in Sun Valley Idaho on Wed, at another resort, they had a wonderful restaurant that was open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.

The property is big and it is taken care of, but there is nowhere to buy things to eat nearby and the coffee shop is only open until 2 pm. On top the only restaurant is not open Mondays and Tuesdays and if you don’t want to drive to town, you are left with only vending machines. There should be at least one place to buy food since it is such a big resort. Other then that the pool is super, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Zermatt was just ok. The room was clean, tired but ok. The water pressure was terrible. The walls are super thin. It’s loud. The TV was tiny, you could hardly see it from the bed or chair. The grounds are clean but not amazing. The bakery/coffee shop opens at 7 am and closes at 2 pm. The bar had zero gluten free options for food. The steak house has only 3 gluten free options, menu wasn’t great. Most hotels have a general store with snacks and supplies. They don’t. They only have 2 vending machines, one with snacks and one with energy drinks, they were not visible or easy to find. The staff was just ok. Not super helpful. For the price I expected more.
