Chosen due to its proximity to the airport for a layover and a shuttle was provided. It was difficult getting picked up from the airport because you had to phone and we didn't have US phone access. The shuttle only ran once each hour to get back to the airport. The bed was comfortable but the room was tired and the airconditioner so loud we had to turn it off to sleep

Overall it met our needs as a clean hotel close to the airport BUT they now only run one shuttle per hour which also stops at the Best Western. Jam packed the morning we needed it. Ended up ubering due to the congestion!

Great, easy night's stay when flying in or out of HNL. Dated but clean and the pool and restaurant area is very nice. The pool looks renovated and kept very nice. There's a parking surcharge but the shuttle to and from the airport is very convenient. Would stay there again while transiting without a doubt. Staff very nice.

If I had not read an earlier review about the shuttle service that alerted me to the problem I would have spent hours on the curb as they did waiting for a shuttle for this hotel. The shuttled is labeled as something totally different except for a piece of paper taped to the side with small print that says Honolulu airport hotel. I never would have spotted it if not for the review of another customer that I had read earlier. I called the desk upon arrival at the airport and they didn't make me aware of the labeling of the shuttle issue. I am a senior citizen arriving at night from over seas. Waiting on the sidewalk was something that I didn't need at that point, no traveler needs that aggravation. Thank you to the other customer who took the time to review this issue, it helped me greatly. I hope this helps someone too or even better that the hotel fixes this problem and labels the shutter properly.

We arrived at 1:30 AM, and the location was quite difficult to find. The woman at the front desk was only somewhat helpful and took 15 minutes to check me in. When I entered the room, I discovered it was full of mold, which immediately triggered my allergies. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available, they would not give me a refund and having been awake for 36 hours, I reluctantly decided to stay. This turned out to be a regrettable decision. There was no shampoo or soap to wash my hands with. The towels looked like they where used at a car wash and the beds where stiff with no blankets. The air conditioner was incredibly loud, running like a freight train and shaking the room so violently that it felt as though an earthquake was occurring. To top it off, the hotel charged $43 for parking. Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend this place.

The food is expensive and only OK, the steak the thinnest taste-free piece of meat ever, and the breakfast buffet over priced. The bed sags, very soft. Roomy bathroom, no waste of toiletries.

The hotel is average and the rooms could use a renovation. On a positive note, the staff, location and restaurant food make up for it! I believe the restaurant was the “Sharks Den” the staff was great and food was good too! We were there on a Wednesday night and there was a live band. It is one of the very few hotels close to the airport which made the trip easier, as traveling with a child in a wheelchair is difficult. They also have rooms for the disabled with properly equipped bathrooms.

close to the airport. A lot of traffic noise from the freeway in the room. The air conditioner was loud but not loud enough to drown out all the traffic noise. Also the furniture in the rooms looks like it was bought in the 1980's. Really dated property. Clean and the people who work there were very nice and quick. Also quite a few homeless people hanging out under the freeway across the street from the hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport and Pearl Harbor. There aren’t many restaurants near by but the hotel has a restaurant which is decent. The decor and furnishing were old and run down. The firm coil mattress had no padding on top and was thus a bit uncomfortable. The in wall AC unit was quite loud, so I slept in my noise cancelling earbuds.

The staff was very poor. Almost laughable .. at 11pm the two desk clerks told me that nothing was available to eat or drink in the hotel except for the vending machines one had food and drinks, another just snacks and one with just drinks. I go to the vending area, none take credit cards, or above 20 dollar bills ...I go back to the front desk, and ask for change for a 50 "to use the vending machines"..back to the vending machines, none will accept any bills...back to the front desk...they said that the machines were full of bills and would only take quarters..so I got $7 in quarters..back to the machines..only one would take quarters and then would not open..back to the desk..had to get a refund of the 3.25 that the machine had taken from me...I asked why they hadn't marked the machines out-of-order..no response...I said that I was starving and thirsty , now near midnight , and I saw water bottles they provided to the rooms ...asked for one and told that they were only for rooms that paid a special rate..but that she'd sell me one for $4.25...I declined ...it went downhill from there when they charged a gentlemen checking in who had requested and qualified for the special "locals" rate more than my room rate ...he had been quoted 149.95 and they charged him $237 for room , resort fee, taxes and parking. They use the local rate to make locals think that they are getting special consideration. During this fiasco, I find out that I had been over charged also..DO NOT STAY THERE

The Staff made our stay easy! Check in was fast and easy. I had pre checked in so just had to grab my key cards and go! The hotel was super close to the airport and only took a few minutes to get there. The hotel is older but definitely kept up and clean! The beds were super comfortable too! We ate at the Shark Cove and the food was fresh and good. Definitely would stay here again!

When arriving to the hotel we were met by a very rude women, Suzy, behind the desk. She had an attitude about everything especially when we had questions. The room itself was not anything special, Adequate at best. I would not recommend this property to anyone as it may seem appealing by it’s convenience and its initial low price, but after several extra fees that are mandatory plus parking it’s price almost doubles.

The hotel was a bit tricky to get to if youre using google maps. For some reason it kept rerouting and taking us in circles. Because you are close to the airport, there are so many roads and turns and most of the roads do not have a street sign. Pay attention to the map. For the parking, pull in and take a ticket at the gate before going to the front desk. They will put a sticker on the paper and make sure you don't lose that small piece of paper, or its $75 to replace. The room itself was adequate for our one night stay before leaving. There is a restaurant on the property but it is very pricey for what you get. Other than that, no other issues...easy check in and staff were extremely helpful.

Fine for one-night stay before early flight next day. Friendly and helpful staff. We were able to walk fairly easily to terminal although shuttle does run every hour. Only complaint was very loud band playing in restaurant until 10pm which we could hear clearly through our window. Will know next time to request a room that doesn't face pool/courtyard area.
