Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach

Our view facing the crater was stunning. The pool is pretty small for the amount of guests and chairs are limited. Otherwise the hotel was gorgeous and a major highlight of our trip.

Awful. Too noisy. Didn’t feel clean

We stayed in the old part of the hotel. It was very charming and you really felt like you were part of the original charming property. However, the rooms are REALLY small and there’s no outlet plug in the bathroom. There’s a window that overlooks the ocean but no balcony. It rained the entire time so u need a balcony to dry wet items. We knew this before we booked. The AC does work VERY well in the old part of the hotel. The property is lovely and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. This hotel was very expensive and therefore less crowded - thank God. It was not swarming with thousands of people or screaming kids. It was peaceful and relaxed and civilized. The amenities were wonderful. We received leis, free daily bottles water in our room. We had access to beach towels, rain umbrellas and plastic disposable rain parkas. The gym was outstanding. The equipment was new and their choice of machines was great. You can absolutely get a great, basic weightlifting routine done here. This hotel is located in the perfect spot with access to restaurants and shops. I feel like it’s slightly overpriced but it’s the nicest hotel in Waikiki. The building is gorgeous and that banyan tree…….

The staff was wonderful. We had non-stop rain which was miserable but the staff remained friendly, patient and accommodating. Room was clean. Beds were super comfy. Bathroom was tiny. No outlet in the bathroom which was weird. No room on the vanity to rest anything. We had lunch on the patio upon arrival (under umbrellas) and it was delicious. The ahi bowl was outstanding.

Everything was great and the hotel is beautiful! Will stay there again for sure!
