Pagoda Hotel

We had an overnight stay in between cruises. Having got of a ship early in the morning we arrived prior to advertised check in time but were given a room as soon as one was available for which we were grateful. The room was a twin queen bed as requested. It was clean and had a coffee maker but no milk in the fridge (we purchased some from the shop downstairs). The bed was comfortable. There was only one chair for the two of us which meant one had to sit on the bed to watch TV. Location was good, walking distance to ALA MOANA CENTRE and Walmart supermarket with restaurants and takeaway also nearby. The airconditioner was a little noisy when it cut in. We were given a discount voucher for breakfast which we didn't use. This Hotel served our needs for the one night stay but we would choose another for any extended stay.

I needed to iron a wrinkled shirt, but no irons available. You need bathroom exhaust fans to draw out moisture.

Conveniently located outside Waikiki and recently renovated nicely, the Pagoda is good but not fancy. It’s a family hotel. Amenities fee includes a $5 pp served breakfast, WiFi, newspaper, etc. Extra parking fee, but not as much as other areas in Honolulu. Our room was remodeled, spacious, and attractively decorated. Cold AC.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was very good for only $5!

Before booking I read all of the reviews. And they are very accurate. The breakfast was the highlight. The renovations made everything fresh. It was great to have parking. And it was in such a very good location. Only wish there could have been an accommodation to be able to check in earlier than 4:00 p.m..
