I think the parking is very high to know you can’t park there every night due to no space . If you’re not going to have enough parking don’t charge anyone for those days . No one should have to reschedule what time they come back from outings because you don’t have enough parking. Ruins the vacation in my eyes! Very inconvenient. Also elevators are horrible . Other than that hotel was good .

I like the location so close to the beach and walking distance to shops, the hotel was extremely busy and 2 elevators were down which was not great. That’s my only real concern. They need to fix or update the elevators

Really great property. All staff we encountered at the property were super awesome and helpful I would give them all 10 stars! We stay at the princess wing, beautiful ocean view view easy and quick elevator access with little to no wait. My friends were in the other tower and there was 3 working elevators about half the size of the elevator for the princess wing and over 20 floors. Wait for those elevators going up and down can be super long( longer than anticipated) and super packed. For some reason the rooms on that side felt a little more spacious, maybe because the beds were a little lower than in our wing. But over super fun experience. I'd stay again if im traveling with a smaller group (2-4). Bed was comfy, shampoo was not our favorite. There was a mini fridge and small safe. Water gets hot. Easy access to lots of stores. Parking is onsite in the garage. We paid 45/day plus a resort fee. Costs really adds up but convenience wins.

This is a great hotel in the heart of the Honolulu shopping district. It has a nice pool and live entertainment from time to time. The parking is a bit of a challenge if you arrive later than 9 pm. You’ll have to park nearby and walk. While the hotel is older, it has been recently renovated and is very clean. The restaurant on site was very tasty!

We stayed there for 7 days and it was amazing! Friendly pool staff. Resort fee includes a mobile wifi and towel that you can bring to the beach. Beach is just a 5 min walk from the hotel. International Market place is just beside it and Royal Hawaiian center is just right across the street. Daily housekeeping. Room is a bit outdated but we dont care since we spend most of our time outside. Bed comfortable! My two kids loved it. Only downside is the $45USD parking and pool closes at 7pm.

I liked the Clean rooms, great staff, walk 2 min to the beach. I didn’t like the extra fee I had to pay plus parking. Almost $100 more per day. also Landry machines need to be updated or better kept

The location itself is in a great spot it’s close to everything. We got the renovated room so it was “nicer”. Hotel staff was mainly friendly with the exception of one of the front desks girls when I asked her where the gym was and she looked at me annoyed and answered me as if I was a slow child. The pool was nice and spacious. Elevators are being renovated so they took a LONG time but the staff allowed us to use the service elevator. There is no valet parking but a parking garage down the street with no elevators. So if you’re carrying a lot of things walking down or up the stairs could be an issue. There’s also very limited parking, some of those cars do not move for multiple days. All in all, it’s a good hotel with friendly staff. It’s good enough for you to stay shower and sleep. Who spends their vacation in a hotel room anyway? Extras * parking does cost $45/night *

This hotel not by any means is new, but, they do keep it in very great shape. The staff is probably one of the best we've experienced. So very friendly, polite and eager to assist. They answered questions and gave directions to all interesting areas. The location is in the center of Waikiki with the Moana Surfrider (one of the oldest hotels in the state) across the street. The International Market Place right next door with a Target store in the complex. Shopping around the hotel is pricey, but good to look around and people watching. I would stay at the Princess Kaiulani again.

Water leaked through the ceiling over my bed. I could not sleep that night. I reported to staff and the repair man come to noted. When I check out I asked them to reimburse because I couldn’t sleep that night. Hope they know how to take care Custommer.

We got a room with very Dirty sheets that had blood on them. They couldn't change our room till next day since they didn't have anything available also they didn't change the sheets because they had no staff working at that time. They gave us free breakfast and few drinks but overall the first room was very dirty.

Our room was very clean. Nothing too fancy but the shower had good pressure and the beds are comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast in their restaurant. Pricey just like everything in Hawaii. Staff are great and helpful. The hotel is a bit older but it’s beautiful. The pool is small but clean. They let you check out beach chairs all day which is great when traveling the island. The location is amazing. Set downtown right across from the ocean and shopping.

The staff is amazing, the location is surrounded by shops massage parlor shave ice stand henna and braiding. Last 2 vacations I took the room smelled very moldy and the ceiling looked like it had water damage and was leaking in the room and also out in the hall trash cans were set up to catch the abundance of water.. I feel these rooms and areas should be closed for the amount of money they charge.

The new tower rooms upper floors facing west are bombarded with loud boom box noise very late into the night. The traffic noise from Kalakaua Avenue below is very manageable the boom boom box noise is likely to keep most people awake and it was still going strong at 12:30 - 1 AM in the morning. I don't understand why the City and County of Honolulu allow this level of noise pollution this late at night.

Excellent hotel with two exceptions. First, the beds were too soft, providing only minimal support. And second, was the noise. Omg, we chose a room facing the city because we were told that rooms facing Kalakaua were noisy from the street. But there were numerous roof-top air conditioners across from our city facing side producing noise 24/7.

The hotel overall is nice, but rooms are smaller, especially the bathroom vs. newer hotels. However, the interiors have been updated and the property has been nicely maintained. No formal dining, everything is casual, which was perfect for our visit and they are linked to other close hotels where you can dine if you choose to. We were on the 11th floor which had a decent view of the ocean and overlook the historic Moana hotel. the elevators where being services which caused an occasional delay, but was manageable with the ones not being serviced and access to the service elevator. overall, happy with our stay :)

Overall the hotel room itself felt like it could use an update to me. They have multiple towers and at least one of them was updated recently, but we were in an older one. The bathroom felt small and really dated. The room itself was fine although the bed was rather uncomfortable for a hotel at this price point.

Elevator issues for third year in a row, according to employees. I was in the 25th floor with an ocean view, all I heard were my neighbors. A lot of trouble sleeping at night and staying asleep because of sound. The only reason it gets three stars is cuz employees were great and location was too.

Some things to like ( helpful staff, great location), but two noise-related issues. One - the wall between rooms seemed paper thin. I could hear the conversation in the next room. Two — there’s a karaoke set-upon the street that went until 10 pm (got back to my room around 9 pm).

Two weeks at Princess K pros and cons - Ocean view: there are no rooms with ocean view as advertised on website. In fact the closest you’ll get is 2/3 city view and 1/3 ocean view. So if you’re paying for the ocean view, it is a scam. - Elevators: they have been in reparation for a great deal of time now. With 1 to 2 on 4 cars working, lines of frustrated tourists accumulate in front of the elevators that sometimes skips your floor, doesn’t stop at all, stops at every floor or simply cancels the floor request you made. Plan 5-20 min every time you need to get out of or back to your room. - Wifi: flaky, slow, cuts. - Restaurant: don’t be fooled by the gorgeous appetizing pictures on the website, the menu lacks choices and food is passably edible. - Pool: again, don’t get fooled by the pictures, the pool is tiny and closes at 6. - Gym: a couple of nice machines but no barbels, no plates. Plan your workouts accordingly. - Staff: floor staff is very polite and respectful. Lobby staff on the other is not very accommodating. - Very noisy due to echo between buildings, you constantly hear amplified street noise - Bottom line: avoid.

The stay was good but ruined by the fact they had hidden charges that we had to pay even when we did not use them. The Manager was the most unhelpful and rudest individual I have ever come across, (told me rudely I should have read the fine print) it is a good thing the staff were the opposite. We certainly would think twice of ever staying here again.

I checked in early the day ahead of our stay thru a text message. The day of our reservation, I received a text around 11:30am saying our room was ready! Arriving at the valet, they were very understanding of my need to leave the car for a bit while I helped by 90 y.o. mom into the lobby. They grabbed our bags and moved them to bell service who provided a call tag to present to the front desk. Check in was quick and efficient, we even got a free upgrade, and we were upstairs in no time! Room was clean and comfortable. Everyone we came in contact with were friendly, polite, and helpful. The only issue we had was with the mini fridge in the room. It didn't quite keep things cold but we were there for only one night so no complaint was made. I would highly recommend staying here.

The decor is dated in the room we were in. I was told that we were given an upgrade when we got there, but that didn’t happen. We had the view of the parking lot, which I was not aware of. The staff at the bar by the pool area was unfriendly and not very courteous. I probably won’t stay there again.

If you book this hotel through hotels.com, you better call and make sure you actually have a room. last thing anyone wants is to check in and find out that they dont have a room for you because their system (or whoever) overbooked their rooms and “because you bought your reservation through a 3rd party” they didnt “see the reservation”. I want to point point put that ive never had an issue booking through hotels.com until now so im going to assume this is through the fault of Princess Kaiulani Hotel. Its a shame, ive been a loyal customer to this hotel for over a decade because of the location of the hotel. I will never book with them again.

Overall great as always, staff if top notch. Room is clean, bed and pillows are comfy and shower is divine. 4th time at SPK and will go again. Only drawback is of course that resort fee that adds zero value, like none. Toilet paper and Kleenex are very cheap. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

This has always been my favorite hotel in Waikiki. As a smaller hotel, the staff is friendly and provide excellent service, best location and overall wonderful experience. However, at check in, we were told that we were able to charge meals to the room as well as their other Marriott locations. We were then informed that we would receive a $ 50/day credit for a total of $ 200/stay. I questioned them several times about this and they reinsured me it was correct. However, at check-out, the $ 200 credit was not applied. Then the manager came out and told us that we didn't qualify and the staff member made a mistake. Unfortunately it was a let down after a great trip.

Right close to Waikiki Beach And in the shopping district if you are into such a thing. Lots of eateries within walking distance. Would recommend The Happy Hawaiin, Liliha Bakery and Eggs and Things for breakfast. Murigame Udon, Doraku and Kai Poke for Udon, Poke and Sushi were good. Places close early so watch timing for dinner. Enjoyed our stay here for sure.

One of the worst kept Sheraton locations I’ve stayed at. Elevators broken over several week stay, told to take service elevator. Dining was DISGUSTING with birds eating/drinking off unkept meals.. also watched the birds on multiple occasions using the coolers to stay warm and going to the bathroom on top. I never write reviews, this by far was the worst experience on Waikiki in many years… AVOID at all costs

Awesome hotel just across the street from Waikiki Beach. We tried a couple of restaurants in the area but the hotel restaurant was the best of all. This hotel is walkable to everything. They have a nice pool and staff is very friendly. We had an ocean view room that so lovely. Highly recommend!

If you’re not a timeshare member, you’re not going to be comfortable staying there. The hotel itself was good and the location was great, but the service there was not that good. The food was not satisfactory and expensive. A good thing is that there are a lot of other restaurants close by that were great.

The hotel was beautiful. The floral arrangements were lovely. The staff was friendly and professional. The only meh was the strawberry waffles. I don't recommend them since I expected them to be light and airy and they tasted like they used bisquick. They were disappointing. The first morning I had the avocado toast which was delicious and unexpected.
