No breakfast and hot tub was not working. Air conditioner in room was not working.

Disappointed that the hottub wasn't working.

I’m tired of advertised hot tubs being down for repair.

Parking is convenient

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was in disrepair. The furniture in the lobby had holes and tears. Our room furniture was also heavily worn with tears on the Ottoman. The refrigerator freezer was all frozen over and the freezer door would not close. The racks in the refrigerator were also missing and broken. There were bricks missing from the entranceway, sidewalks cracked, elevator tiles cracked and broken , Baseboards near the elevator and ice machine were pulled off the walls and in some areas there was mold growing behind the baseboards. The icemaker on the fourth floor was not functional for most of the stay. Dryer in the laundry was not functioning. The $20 breakfast was worse than free breakfast at lesser hotels. The bed and the room was broken down as were all the desks and chairs. The chest holding the refrigerator and icemaker was so uneven the shelves slid out bruising our arms. The cardboard shims by the hotel were a joke not a fix. The wall heater/air conditioner did not have controls on the unit only on the wall therefore, the air would blow so strong that we were either freezing cold or burning hot. This hotel does not deserve the Hilton name. I recommend Hilton corporation do a quality assurance in person check on the hotel. The owners of the building must not be very responsive to complaints by staff and customers. The entire time that I stayed there, I did not hear one positive comment other than the staff is nice.

I didn't like the fact that they were advertising the hot tub on the website but when we checked in the hot tub was closed because it was in the process of being removed

The hotel is in need of lots of maintenance, Our room was clean but our sons room had a big chip out of the tub the ceiling above the tub had large water spots and started to leak through thank good it was on check out morning. The carpet in hallways was dirty the chairs in lobby were falling apart. The guy that checked us in was friendly but the lady working Sunday morning wasn’t very friendly and they closed the pool on Sunday so the kids couldn’t swim the hot tub was out of order the entire time and the pool area was rather dirty the Pool and hot tub was part of the reason we stayed there. The exhaust fan for kitchen must not work either you could smell the grease in our room and hallways.

Overall our stay was fine. The hot tub was under construction and we weren’t notified before our upcoming reservation. Our room smelt like mold and mildew but was okay for a short stay. The front desk staff was hit or miss some very nice some rude and not helpful.

Really nice affordable option close to the twin cities. The room was nice and clean and check in was very easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. And it was quiet at night so we slept well 😊. Work out room was nice. Liked the 11:00am check out too, so I was able to sneak in a workout before we left. We were a little bummed that the breakfast wasn’t included. It was an extra $15 per person so we skipped it. Seemed a bit too pricey in our opinion. That was probably the only downside. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

The spa was not in service. The swimming pool was very dirty. Need improvement.

There were hair and stains on our towels. We were there for a funeral so were too tired to go complain. Makes us wonder about the hotel’s promise to cleanliness

Wonderful hotel. Very clean. Updated. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay again. When in Oakdale Mn great place to stay. Many great restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend the Machine Shed.

The front desk help was very friendly so check in was very easy. However, the facility looked very worn down and not clean. There was dirt on flooring; smudge hand prints on the glass to office doors and windows in the entry way. The elevator was dirty to even touch the floor numbers. Upon exiting the elevator, the heat coming from an air conditioner in the ice/vending machine room was unbelievable and no one seemed to care that this non functioning air conditioner was blowing out hot air so it made the hallway very uncomfortable. Upon entering our non smoking room - it smelt like it was used as a smoking room but with a cover up fragrant smell. The room seemed to be clean but very worn out carpet. The chair in the corner had holes and stuffing coming out which didn't make you feel comfortable. All in all - the price and location of this hotel was not worth the money as you just didn't feel clean.

Bathroom was not clean. TV had no signal.

There’s something like juice spilled around and it was sticky every where. I wiped a desk and chair with wet towel, but I was not able to do on a carpet. So, I put towels on the way where I walked. When I checked out, I told that to a front, but he didn’t accept seriously and didn’t apologize for it. I will never stay there again.

I’ve stayed at several Hilton Garden Inns and always enjoyed my stay, but this one was hands down one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. First, when I booked the hotel the associate I talked to guaranteed they could have a room ready by 11am for us as we were traveling with an infant. He advised that he put this in the notes. However, when we arrived we found out that a room would not be ready for several hours. The manager questioned who told me I could get an early check in, and stated that would be a special request. Was it NOT a special request since I called and spoke to someone over a month in advance?! Needless to say, this left it where our infant had to sit in our truck with my mother the entire time while we packed up a trailer with stuff from a storage unit. Instead of being able to stretch out and be comfortable in the hotel room we were promised would be ready by the time we arrived to town. After finally being able to check into our room several hours later we found the condition of the room to be less than ideal. Multiple stains on the carpet, the coffee maker was too large for the rolling tray it was on that it stuck out and was in the way when trying to walk in and out of the room, the fridge had several massive dents in it, the bathroom floor was slanted and majority of the ceiling was cracked or being patched. There was also a large spot of dried blood on the blanket on the bed! You can’t tell me the staff didn’t see it!!

Checked in no problems, elevator floor had large cracks throughout, hallway carpets dirty and stained. Room carpet stained, ottoman cracked and peeling. Suspected bed bugs, bites occurred in bed, comforter cover stained. Staff was very helpful in getting room changed and next room was cleaner.

Stay was ok. In my opinion the place needs a deep clean. It’s definitely clean on the surface. There were spots in the walls that looked like they may have been there. While and the corners in the elevators are filthy. Just digging in and giving it a good scrub would make a huge difference. Notice the little details.

Clean! Affordable! Safe! We had an amazing time! The morning staff were so friendly! Breakfast was worth the cost!

I love staying at this hotel! Always friendly service and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Love the amenities in the bathroom. Feels like a spa! Will definitely be back! Thank you Hilton!

Awkward room layout needing updating and some maintenance.

For the price and Hilton name, it needs some updating. My parents room's refrigerator didn't work and the replacement wasn't working very well. In my room, the faucet in the bathroom sink and shower weren't very sturdy. The bathroom toilet lever had to be pushed just right to flush. The furniture looked like it had burn marks. The sheets and blanket had some thin spots

When we got into our room, both TVs didn’t work. The phone didn’t work so we couldn’t call down to the front desk. The lady at the front desk told us that the continental breakfast was not included with our stay, which is not true. The Wi-Fi was terrible. The air conditioning only works in one of the rooms.

Although staff greeted me whenever I entered the hotel, not one person asked me how my stay was - not even upon checkout. The room was stuffy warm - like 80 degrees - even though the thermostat was set on cool for a temp of 75. Even with the fan on continuously, the room just kept getting warmer. Hard to sleep.

Could use some updating. TV difficult to get to change channels. Dish Network. Unable to control the climate in the room. Super loud whenever anyone in our area was running water. Convenient for wedding Nextdoor.

Walls seemed extremely thin. Could hear my neighbor snore all night and then could hear his conversation the next day. Could use some updating as well.

Front desk was very friendly. Property is run down and shabby. Walls are thin. Beds provide decent support and pillows are comfortable. A moderate option about a half hour from airport.

The water pressure needs to be seriously addressed.

The hotel room was great! There was just a cracked glass door frame. Besides that everything was great

The handicap accessible shower had terrible hot water and the shower head constantly fell off the holder, spraying water into the bathroom. There is a tiny slope between the bathroom and the main room. Because the water had sprayed all over the bathroom from the fallen shower head, this slope was wet and I slipped dangerously and absolutely SMASHED my elbow into the door handle.

They have a wonderful staff. Clean nice building. I would like to commend one of their staff Zach as he was the one who was so polite and helpful. He did everything to get my car keys back after they dropped out of my hand and straight down the crack between the floor and the elevator. Long story but he was amazing. Thank you

Not much every time we had an issue there answer was no maintenance guy take care of it yourself trouble with no remote control for one of the TV's then the next day after we received the remote the tv had no service were told to take care ourselves .also billed incorrect Very unhappy will be writing to the appropriate people to voice our concerns.Very good chance we will never stay at a Hilton garden again

When I arrive I waited a hour to check in and then I found out that my room was already given to other people..I drove five hours just to stay at this hotel for nothing..

Got in late, and needed an extra night. Dan took excellent care of us!

We made reservations two days prior to our stay. I asked for late checkout because we wouldn't be arriving until 1 or 2 in the morning. We actually made it at 3am and were informed they were all booked. I told the front desk clerk we had reservations and I provided the confirmation email. It didn't matter because they had given our room away. I'm still waiting on my refund, funny thing is I told a couple people about my lousy Expedia experience and they told me their's too.

Crying baby and noises, doors, slamming all night in adjacent room. Hotel was minimally occupied. We called front desk at 12:45 to request discount for disturbances that prevented slo. We were told noise didn’t qualify for a discount

The front desk lady was so rude have me a hard time room was not ready for a 1 hour and a half was put out of my room at 730am because front lady said I didn’t belong at her hotel

Easy access to shopping and dining areas.

The hotel was in a location that was easy to get to/from interstate. It was quiet.

We were in the Minneapolis area for a concert and this was a convenient location. The check-in / check-out process were really easy. The room was big and clean. And there were nice amenities like a gym and coffee / water in the lobby.

This is our 3rd time staying here and it was the best stay. While some areas are a little dated, the hotel is clean and nice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room were clean. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

The room smelled funny, beds weren’t super comfy, but otherwise it wasn’t bad. It was cheap enough. Location is pretty good. Plenty of restaurants close by.

Location short drive to St. Paul and Minneapolis. Lots of restaurants near by. Hotel was great, the only thing that could improve is the shower water pressure. Would definitely stay again if we travel to Minnesota again.

The room had hair in the bathtub, the air/heater panel kept falling off exposing the wires. The next morning we went for breakfast and it was awful. They only had a small amount of eggs left and just cold things. This was at 8am and the cook was still there. My daughter had milk and it was spoiled. The bread for toast was old stale tasting. We told the front desk that we had to throw our food away and wasnt even offered a refund. We will be staying else where when we come back to the area.

Decent price for our room for 4 nights. Clean property and comfortable bed. Did not like the toilet so low to the floor. Thank goodness for handicap rails, but still hard to sit and get up. Would of liked to have a small breakfast included. Suggest you bring some with you. $15 for breakfast can add up fast for 2 people over 4 days.

The lamp in our room could only be turned on and off by unplugging it. The breakfast in the morning was a joke. Not worth $12. Waffle iron everything stuck to it. Had to keep asking guy for stuff. Tables not wiped off. Ridiculous!

Stayed with a dog. Staff was friendly and accommodating. $15 per person for breakfast was ridiculous.

Its been a while since I have been to a hotel that is terrible. I thought this being a hilton we would be fine. Aside from the property looking terrible. Not even a trash can outside. The hallways are hot and humid, hot tub doesn't work, and staff seem annoyed with anyone being there. The girst women came around after a few mins. Aside from all that after bringing my luggage to the car, I came inside and went to over to breakfast, after getting some food I seen that they charge $16 for breakfast!!!! We are not talking about a nice fancy breakfast. I am talking hust your basic breakfast with limited options and you want $16!!! We already paid quiet a bit for the room, with terrible air condition, even the elevators at exteemely hot! I was pretty upset to find they charge that much. I for sure will not be going back to this hotel. I hope they put some work into that hotel and concider giving conplimentary breakfast to guests otherwise concider a major upgrade ro breakfast!

Got an amazing sleep here. The breakfast dining was superb with the omelette service
