4th of July and the pool was closed. Was never infomed of this. Would have stayed at another location. Even used my reward points on this TERRIBLE CHOICE. Called expida 7 times never once did alive agent pock up the call..

The hotel room itself was disgusting. There was a weird white stain on one of the chairs and a random lingerie tag on the ground. The ceiling was cracked and paint was old and moldy looking. There was a random towel behind the toilet catching mold and hair in the drains. There was a weird beetle on the ground… It was just outdated old and really gross. The area that it’s in it’s next to a restaurant that’s no longer open and appears to dilapidated and I was concerned for the safety of my vehicle. The only good thing about this place is that the staff is super nice, the kitchen where they serve the complementary breakfast is the cleanest part of the hotel and the staff at the front desk was also very nice. The pool didn’t have any water in it. This place is just gross all around, avoid it. We slept with a chair barricading the door. I am not trying to be a Karen, but I want to make everyone aware as I would not want to stay here again especially with kids. We all felt like we needed a shower after staying there

Not clean. I wish I could share with you a picture of my socks....carpet disgustingly filthy. Really unhappy that pool was closed....it was one reason I chose this hotel and it was 86 degrees out! False advertisement. Would never recommend.

We never got to stay the night. The moment we opened the door we were hit with a smell of wet dog. The bathroom was dirty and wet as if just recently used. When we looked at the bed to our dismay we found bed bugs. Immediately we went to the front desk. The manager on scene came to the room and took pictures as if we were lying. Upon finding the begs in the bed he offered us another room which was equally as dirty with dirty used bath towels. We left immediately and booked somewhere else. They still haven’t issued a refund for the deplorable room. And expedia still hasn’t resolved our issue. Safe to say we will never stay at that place again

This place was one of the dirtiest places I've ever been. Dirty walls, bathtubs, beds, chairs, doors, and windows. The carpet hasn't been vacuumed. There was rust on the lamp stand and the vent cover. The bathtub had souch soap scum...hadn't been cleaned in months. The carpet was coming apart. The walls were literally falling apart. The ironing board had stains and marks all over it. There were drips all over the place on the walls. Black stains on the walls and doors. It smelled of mold and it was so musty. The AC was not cold. It was scary dirty. Just gross.

Our room was absolutely disgusting. Both beds had yellow stains and crumbs on them. Some of these stains were huge. Rings from pop cans on dresser, phone dusty, bathtub was dirty with hair in it, and floor was dirty.

The Orangeburg SC Quality Inn room was terrible. The room smelled of bleach. The shower curtain had a large amount of mold on it. The toilet was dirty in areas. The floor was dirty & sticky - our socks were black on the bottom within minutes after walking on it. The sitting chair was dirty. The bathroom mat caught under the bathroom door & was black when pulled out.

Some of the property was being remodeled. This room looked like it had had some remodeling done. But it needed a lot of touch-up work. It kind of looks like somebody forgot to do the punch list. There was a coffee maker with no coffee. I discussed things with the manager before I left.

We stopped on our way to the beach. We don’t love hotels with the doors to the outside, but it looked decent enough from the outside and was a well-known chain. When we walked into our room, it was very hot and humid. We blasted the air conditioner, but the towels were wet, and the floors felt damp as well as the bedding. Looked like some mold near an outlet, so I’m assuming maybe mold in other areas. I am very sensitive to mold.

Check-in was great, front desk service person was empathetic and understanding, tried to accommodate our request for a family member’s disability and service animal. We also had a pet. The room (double Queen suite) dated but good size for 3 adults. We had to request additional towels and bedding for the sofa bed (which were ragged with rips, cigarette burn holes, and elastics on fitted sheet that were loose). The 2 Queen beds were comfortable and appeared clean. 1 Bedside lamp and desk Lamp / plug doesn’t work. AC/Heat unit worked fine. Shower had good water pressure and temp controls. Sink fixture was loose but worked. Amenities: extremely minimal, small shampoo, conditioner, 2 soaps, 1 roll of TP. There was an iron but no ironing board; coffee and coffee maker, but no creamer/sweetener/stir stick and no tea. Check-out: We were summoned to the front desk and accused of not registering 2 dogs. Check-in sheet reflected 1 pet and 1 service animal. Note, service dogs are working animals and not considered “pets”! Educate your personnel accordingly! I understand many people try to sneak in extra pets to avoid the pet fee, but suggest a non-accusatory tone in speaking with guests. Apparently, housekeepers also serve as spies! Overall: Lower your expectations if you choose to stay. But I don’t recommend this place, it’s not quality (as the name suggests), and would not stay again. Sorry, not sorry!

I was very unhappy with being charged for the second day stay. I was not expecting to return home, but had to leave. having stayed there the first night, I should not have been charged for day two. Even if this was required through my expedia reservation. I'll be looking to use some other booking resource.

Overall the place needed up dating. The only complaint i have is at check in they wanted a 100.00 deposit (cash or credit) I paid cash and the next morning before giving my deposit back the attendant acted like they really did not want to give my deposit back. The person working the desk did his best, but upon check in there were several people in line in front of and behind me, it took a long time. He was the only person working. Upon entering the room we were overwhelmed with a horrible odor, the room carpet and bedding had stains, comforter had holes looked like burnt from cigarettes? We opted not to stay and immediately returned to the desk only to have to wait in another line, then he didn’t know how to process the refund for our pet fee. Had to wait for him to call someone to refund that. Called Expedia to have room fee refunded, they had to contact the hotel, Expedia agent said they tried multiple times, no answer… so now I have to wait up to 72 hours for that refund.

Check-in was great, front desk service person was empathetic and understanding, tried to accommodate our request for a family member’s disability and service animal. We also had a pet. The room (double Queen suite) dated but good size for 3 adults. We had to request additional towels and bedding for the sofa bed (which were ragged with rips, cigarette burn holes, and elastics on fitted sheet that were loose). The 2 Queen beds were comfortable and appeared clean. 1 Bedside lamp and desk Lamp / plug doesn’t work. AC/Heat unit worked fine. Shower had good water pressure and temp controls. Sink fixture was loose but worked. Amenities: extremely minimal, small shampoo, conditioner, 2 soaps, 1 roll of TP. There was an iron but no ironing board; coffee and coffee maker, but no creamer/sweetener/stir stick and no tea. Check-out: We were summoned to the front desk and accused of not registering 2 dogs. Check-in sheet reflected 1 pet and 1 service animal. Note, service dogs are working animals and not considered “pets”! Educate your personnel accordingly! I understand many people try to sneak in extra pets to avoid the pet fee, but suggest a non-accusatory tone in speaking with guests. Apparently, housekeepers also serve as spies! Overall: Lower your expectations if you choose to stay. But I don’t recommend this place, it’s not quality (as the name suggests), and would not stay again. Sorry, not sorry!

Put me in a smoking room. The morning clerk was rude. Check in was slow. Keys did not work. People had problems with rooms and the one clerk would not help. Lots of attitudes.

Called day before asking about early checkin and was told as long as a room was clean after 12 wouldn’t be a problem. Showed up at 2 and was told I had to wait til 3. The area has lots of places to stay and eat but seems a bit questionable. The room was good at first glance but looking closer the floors had dirt and grime like they hadn’t been cleaned at all and a roach was climbing the wall!

I was pleasantly surprised at the motel. Some of the reviews were so bad, i wasn't sure what to expect. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was right off the highway, and next door to a McDonalds. Will definitely stay again on our next trip.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. It was dirty, dilapidated and not well-maintained. On top of it there were people partying, laughing, screaming and drinking right outside the rooms until 2 in the morning and the staff did nothing. This is not worth the cheap price. It is the most unsafe I have ever felt in a hotel.

The breakfast was surprisingly good. The pm staff at check-in was not trained well, but he was kind and pleasant. Staffer who did breakfast was very nice also. Lady at checkout was nice but I was glad she didn't inquire about the stay. I would expect Expedia and Quality Inn to revisit this property. It is very run down, I took pictures of the room which doesn't do the poor maintenance any justice. The sheets were clean and that's about it. Wall are in poor repair, threshold in bathroom is missing, found used conditioner in bathroom, TV remote was not working but the TV did. When the toilet filled it made a strange noise. We were in room 202. I would not recommend this hotel or stay there again.
