Hotel is being renovated and the parking lot was littered with dumpster overflow. Not a good first impression. It got better as you entered the lobby. The pool which is directly off the lobby needs work as the rust stains were quite visible. We had a reno'd king room on the first floor, Attention to detail was clearly absent in the fit and finish of the bathroom & I wish I had taken photos. Whoever thought that taking out the closet and replacing it with two hooks on the wall and a small shelf that was placed too close to the hooks to allow you to hang a suit jacket needs to rethink it. With there being no closet, there were no hangers, ironing board or iron. SMH! I will say the bed was comfortable, and the room was quieter than I expected, even being next to the public men's room on one side. We decided to skip breakfast at the hotel and dine elsewhere.

Lobby area was nice. Room/bath layout was good. Bath needed some attention to finishes & cleanliness. Fan was coming out of the ceiling and poor tile work/patching. Pillows needed replaced due to their odor. Breakfast was just standard fare. Pool really needed a deep cleaning. Would not even consider going in for a swim. There aren’t too many choices in this area, and in the future I will choose a longer drive to stay at a nicer/cleaner place.

Front dest attendant was super friendly and accommodating to our softball team. Room was clean and nice. They were doing renovations in the hallway we were staying in so of course it was a bit dirty, but that was to be expected.

Loved the Location, quiet off the highway but close to eating, shopping etc. Staff was wonderful, room was fine and the Pool area and water was excellent, warm and clean. Highly Recommend Plymouth Holiday Inn Express!

The hotel has been renovated so it’s in great shape in comparison to the other hotels around. The pool needs to be updated though. It looks old and dirty. The staff is very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast is very good, pancakes, toast, bagels, eggs, sausages, coffee, juice, fruit…will stay again!

We only stayed overnight, and the front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. However, the hotel seemed rundown with really dirty carpets throughout the halls and in the room. The hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work and we couldn't get TV to display. The included breakfast was not great. But the shower's water pressure was really strong, so that was a bonus.

The room looks like it had been broken into. Due to the damage to the door frame there is a gap in which you can see into the room from the hall. We have a sheet hanging over the door to cover the gap. The bottom of the shower has a brownish stain on the bottom. The floor in the bathroom is super dirty.

They are remodeling and after traveling all day, the loud noises and people yelling was not restful. The room was infested with moths. I was attacked by them all night and woke up to about 10 of them on my pillows and bed.

Although this was not the most updated HI Express we've stayed at, it certainly was a very comfortable night's stay. The service was excellent, the room was quiet and comfortable, and the beds were awesome. The best hotel breakfast we've had in a while. We will be back!

Air conditioner never kicked on longer then a minute. Shower squealed really badly when you adjust temperature. No Usb ports anywhere and just a small complaint, the clock is always set to military time. The good - conveniant location and staff was friendly. Not worth the $180 price per night.

As of July 2024 this property is being remodeled. That being said, our newly remodeled room on the second floor was wonderful! The AC was clear, easy to use and provided a “constant fan” button for white noise. The new bathroom was bright, clean and offered eco friendly refillable soap as opposed to plastic or packaging. Also, BONUS, each bed had 4 fluffy pillows! Thanks Plymouth Holiday Inn

The good - the staff was absolutely great. The property is being remodeled. The bad - guy checking us in must have been new and had a hard time checking us in. The process took about 25 minutes and 2 rooms before we finally got into a room. The next morning we discovered that there was no hot water. They switched rooms again and we finally had hot water. This was a last minute, emergency booking. Despite the problems, the staff did great to make it better.

Front desk staff, lobby, and fitness room were AMAZING and very accomodating. Cleanliness of the room was pretty good also. However, some of the main room doors had been pryed open in the past and nothing was done to replace or repair them, leaving visible gaps between the door jamb and door. People walking in the hallway could see right in if they wanted to. You can tell this particular location is in need of a high quality remodel. Additionally, professionalism is a must from all positions. We were trying to get in our room and the housekeepers were audibly complaining about our block of rooms requesting late check outs and not leaving until 2:00. Yes, a slight inconvenienece and we understand, but we're in town for a baseball tournament, we didn't know when we would play the next day until almost 10:00PM the night before. Overall, a comfortable stay, and we would book here again.

The check in staff, Keeley was wonderful! I mistakenly clicked and booked the wrong date and she honored my reservation and got everything switched. She went above and beyond and was so kind and courteous! I would 100% stay again because of her.
