Breakfast is a joke. Owner is obviously a cheapskate. 90° and making the staff work with no a.c. in the lobby or hallways (unplugged). AC and vents in the rooms literally haven't been cleaned in years. I'm staying elsewhere next time.

The property needs some work in that things are showing wear. The pool heater wasn't working and the pool area was dim and uninviting. (We booked the hotel because we wanted a pool and just a decent place close to where needed to be )A picture by the elevator on my floor was missing and the brackets were left and were a genuine hazard. The staff were fine and it wasn't a bad hotel, it just needs money spent to keep things up. Having a cold pool in a dark pool room wasn't inviting .

Overall hotel was ok. Definitely needs a little bit of upgrade/housekeeping. Rooms were ok but a bit dirty overall. Decent for the price though. Limited breakfast options but food was good. Nice pool that the kids enjoy. By far one of the quietest hotels I’ve stayed at in a while though which was nice.

This was by far the worst place we have ever stayed. 1st we did the pre check-in online to save time at the desk but when we got there they didnt have tilhe information and had to do it all over again. When we got our room the mattress was missing from the pull out bed so they had to find us a new room but the system was down so it took forever to manually find a room. The key cards had to be reprogrammed every day. The pool was filthy by far the most disgusting hotel pool. No towels in the pool area our entire stay except for one day and they were hand towels. The food that was out was terrible. They ran out of milk on monday so only coffee and cranberry juice all week. We registered for 5 people in our room and were only give 2 towels. We had to go down to the front desk everyday to get new towels. The guy checking us in barely spoke english so it was very hard to communicate with him. This place was also advertised with a hot tub by the pool which is why we chose this place but the hot tub was removed.

Pool and Ice Machines were not functioning. Mold in bathroom. Room was not sufficiently cleaned, as evidence by thick layers of dust on furniture. Repeatedly asked for towels and pillows, and were told there were none available. Overnight agent eventually had to take them from an empty room. Front desk agent during day was unresponsive and hung at desk with a cigarette.

I had the most relaxing stay at La Quinta!!! Breakfast was great! The pool, the sauna, the exercise room all amazing! The staff every single one of them were super friendly, ready to assist with anything you needed. I would definitely book another stay here in Plainfield!!!!!

So our stay wasn’t terrible the staff was friendly. There was just some things they 100% need to work on. The second we walked in it smelled soooooo bad like straight trash. In the hallway right where you have to walk to get to the elevator a bag of trash sat there for 5 plus hours. When eating our breakfast my girlfriend was on the verge of throwing up because there was trash sitting in the dinning area. Just seems like the house keeping needs to make more rounds and keep up on the trash. The pool was alittle dirty but it was nice besides that. Our room wasn’t bad only complaints are the shower head was gross. Second the blanket on our bed had a huge brown stain on it. Third the AC smelled like mold. So again our stay wasn’t to bad but for the price we paid we definitely had high expectations. They definitely need to clean better besides that it was a nice place to stay.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with no staff in the lobby area and a bell that did not work. When getting to our room, it wasn't too bad at first glance but we later found that it was not very clean, and there was mold in the bathtub/shower area of the bathroom. Additionally to this, after pulling out the couch into a bed, we found that there were all types of stains all over the mattress with no bedding to cover them. When telling the lobby staff this, we were told "they would try to find another room." After deciding to stay at a different hotel, we were able to get a refund but overall it was a disaster.

This facility was in very poor condition boxes and old furniture stored in the lobby leftover Christmas tree from Christmas no hot water in the shower after the first night no clean towels available did not clean the room after your first night breakfast was very poor instant eggs that were cold sausage sitting in water and cold uneatable no hot coffee was made for Hotel that I paid almost $600 for two nights was extremely disappointed would not stay again

Rooms were horrible i booked two rooms the first room had smoke detectors hanging down,there were stains on the chairs, and wasnt cleaned right. The second room had hole behind bathroom door and wasn’t cleaned right the tub had no stopper and the toilet was gross i could see stains in toilet from sitting in tub. I was very unhappy with our stay i stayed at a laquinta in Connecticut before and picked the same for i had a good experience but i will never stay there again or recommend it to family and friends

The room seemed okay at first. Unfortunately looking deep, we found an used towel under sink crispy and yellow. The mattress was dirty around the boarder. And the floors were in some areas sticky and dirty. The microwave needed to be plugged in and when plugged it did not fit, it hanged of the edge and didn’t fit back its spot. Made us nervous it would fall. The area trash was not cleaned and one could not disposed of trash. The breakfast tasted rubbery and old. The doors would not lock right. You needed to pull it hard to make it lock. It was loud to do. Every door sounded the same in the area I stayed. So when anyone stepped out it was a loud sound. Overall a bad hotel. Will not stay here again

Its always hit or miss with Quinta but this one was a big miss. For nearly 250 a night I was greeted to an unclean room. I didn't realize until later since we just simply dropped our bags off and left. When we got back wth. We pulled out the sofa bed and there was a ton of trash tucked underneath the couch. You wouldn't see this if you didnt pull out the bed. There was at least 6 empty water bottles, 4 capri suns. more than 10 bag of empty chips, underwears, socks you name it. It was a habitat down there. There was used washcloths hanging in the shower. Crumbs all over the place including pull out bed. On our way out I pointed this out to housekeeping and they fained surprise. I have an idea this was the norm and I felt like they definitely felt "caught" more than surprised. I was given no reprieve for our stay and I will definitely I mean definitely not stay at any La Quinta again.

The facilities, staff and amenities were very good. There were a couple of issues though. The heater in the room had an issue with the up button. Couldn’t turn the heat up from 64 degrees. Second there was an annoying noise that went off about every 20 minutes (sometimes multiple times). It sounded like a pump running for about 10 seconds followed shortly after by a sound like water running for about 5 seconds. This went on all night long. Was able to get to sleep but it was annoying. Needs to be addressed.

Clean but that’s where it ends. Thermostat didn’t work and in my 3 days there no one fixed it. Faucet leaked. Queen beds but only two standard pillows the rest were little square pillows. Coffee day one was Luke warm and this was first thing in the morning. Day 2 it was fresh and hot. Day 3 there wasn’t any. 4 sad apples were there the whole time.

I have stayed here a few times and have never had a problem checking in or with any of the service. My room this time was clean, but the locks looked like the door had been locked in. Along with the hole in the wall from the door knob slamming into it. The hole wasn't patched up but instead was stuffed with toilet paper. They should fix this before another guest checks in.

Check in was insulting. We arrived early, maybe 90 minutes prior to official" check in time of 3:00. Clerk said our room was READY but we had to pay a $30 early check in fee! This was a $250 per night room and bc we didnt hit six f'n hours of traffic we were being PUNISHED for arriving early for a room that was READY??. We refused to be nickel and dimed for the stupidest reason so when we said were canceling the whole thing (plenty of hotels across the street) the clerk relented. We travel alot and NEVER heard of such a ridiculous policy- especially if the room is ready and we are not asking the staff to expedite its readiness.

One of the maids was going up to my floor when I checked in so, she helped me with my bags. I was also having trouble getting tv to go on. I went to get her to see if I was doing anything wrong. She went down to the desk to get a new remote for me. The clerk at the desk; Jasmine was great. She talked briefly to me everyday morning and asked me what I was planning to do and when I returned asked me how my day was. The service that I received here was the best that I have received at any hotel. I had spent my entire career in the customer service industry. The customer service that I received was excellent. Your staff is great and I am very appreciative. It was great to feel like I was just a number. Thank you. Please let Jasmine, the maid on Monday when I checked in to room 215 and the person that worked the breakfast area on Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately, I did not get the maids or breakfast person's name. I did make it a point to ask the desk clerk her name because I wanted to make sure that I mentioned her in my review. The way that I was treated added to the enjoyment of my vacation. I will definitely return to your hotel. Keep up the great work and thank you again. Please let those 3 ladies know how much I appreciate the service that I was given.

The person who checked me in was so friendly and helpful. I checked in at exactly 3pm, our room was chilled for us and it was very clean and exactly what we needed. Nice hotel and felt it was a good price at the $125 a night I paid. Personally, I’d never pay more than that for any La Quinta and this particular location isn’t any better than the best La Quinta I’ve stayed in. There’s a grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store, restaurants, gas station with prepared food, coffee shop, McDonald’s and more all within walking distance.

Very happy with this hotel. The entrance, lobby, breakfast area and room was very clean. Other than the hallway that had some scraping on the wall from the cleaning carts, it was visually appealing. The staff were pleasant. Easy on and off the hwy. We found great Chinese and pizza and a grocery store nearby.

I had a good time there. I could be nit picky about a few things but my biggest gripe was breakfast started at 9 according to the person working when I checked in and I had to leave by then to start my day. I’m sure I’m not the only one with that experience. Overall I would stay there again and likely will.

ASTHMA PEOPLE: DO NOT STAY HERE!! This was horrible for my asthma. There was zero air circulation, it smelt like smoke & mold. The ceiling in the breakfast room was falling in before our eyes. The breakfast was a 2/10. There was one man who was working when we checked in through to the entire next day- same clothing, looking exhausted. There was one worker, doing check outs/ins, doing the maintenance, and making the breakfast. They didnt have any clean bed sheets available. It was pretty awful. Think twice about staying here. Garbages overflowing. There is "new management" we stayed because it was pet friendly, but apparently cats werent allowed (no where did it say this on the site, he told us when we got there- we have a blind kitten and cannot leave him alone). ANYWAY, will def be skipping this place next time- one plus is it is close to the highway.

Unfortunately, we had no hot water in our bathroom. In addition, we were told breakfast ended at 10am. Yet we we arrive to eat at 8:50am there was nothing. When we asked if they were going to replenish, they said no. One of the main reasons for my family staying here was the convenience of breakfast. However, we had to spend additional money else where for this. Would not be staying here in the future.

The staff was so friendly but everything else was very lacking. The breakfast was embarrassing, even for a place like this, and the hotel did not have enough basic supplies like towels. Not to mention, there was no room cleaning throughout the stay whatsoever, and the bathroom sink was broken
