When I arrived I was a bit concerned due to the fact that the lodge is under construction however, once I entered into our room I found it to be very acceptable for the occasion. I am a Mississippi State certified fire investigator, fire inspector, fire instructor adjunct, retired fire chief retired fire coordinator, retired fire consultant and a 20-year retired combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I have stayed at this particular hotel several times this is by far the best condition I have ever witnessed. I checked fire extinguishers fire sprinklers and overall safety and I must admit for the price this is a four and a half star facility that I would strongly recommend at this time.

The room was clean and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very courteous. The only negative is...I was given a room with a jacuzzi tub and it was out of order. I really could have used a nice soak, having a bad back. The breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone

Very clean, great safe location..convenient for travel on I55. Breakfast included.hard boiled eggs, muffins, biscuits with white sausage gravy, sausage patties, bread, waffles, juices, coffees. Nice lobby too. Room had microwave, frig with freezer & coffee maker, also a comfy chair along with the desk chair with the desk & mirror. Also a full length mirror by the closet, hangers, iron & board. $ was great for amenities, free breakfast & parking(VERY WELL LIT)! & close to I55 in a safe area. Food & 24hr gas/food at corner. The hotel also has vending machines for food & drinks, ice machine, water filter machine, plus self serve guest laundry. Paid ~$67..well worth it! Thank you!

We have stayed here several times. I think they must have changed ownership. If you are just looking for a bed to sleep in, it was fine. Decent bed, room, and layout. Had shampoo(no conditioner) soap and 2 bath towels. But the room price was very reasonable. Can’t say the provided breakfast was anything but sugar

I took a 2-day sabbatical where I and my wife went to the Mississippi State Fair. We are no strangers to the econo Lodge in Flowood. We chose that establishment for our lodging. This was not a good experience. After many. The days at this hotel. The room was dirty. The Lennon was there okay? The towels were dirty. There was damage to the walls. When my wife attempted to voice her displeasure with the bed linen, she was scoffed. An elderly man who worked there tossed clean linen to put on the bed instead of them changing that themselves. It's disrespectful service that Made our stay upsetting from the start. Being a building and fire inspector I asked the front desk upon arrival if this was going to be a good room and I was told it was. I also informed them that I do reviews and that this would be no exception. However, room 221 is not a good room, not as of Tuesday, October. The only decent report that I can give is Tuesday morning. We ate breakfast before we left and that was sufficient. The area was cleaned.

Dirty sheets. Had to change them ourselves. Fire alarm battery died at 3 am with beeping. Again had to change the batteries ourselves after the front desk offered us a ladder to do it ourselves. Steer clear of this place

The curtains and comforter had stains on it. The towels were hard. Couple of Hair in the bed . Small Tv. There was cobwebs on the corner of the room. Also seen a bug on the wall. Poor breakfast.

The staff was very kind and helpful. We had a room with two queen beds and the room was very spacious. The air conditioner worked well. The bathroom was a little dated but it was clean. The towels could have been a little nicer. Although I felt that the bed was pretty comfortable, my wife thought that the mattress was a little too hard. The bed did squeak though when we moved around. The television was a standard 32 inch flat screen. There was a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee pot in the room. There was ample room for luggage and clothes. Although the breakfast choices were fairly limited, it was an adequate breakfast to start our day. There was sausage gravy and biscuits, sausage patties, several types of cereal, juices and coffee, there was a waffle maker although there was no spray. The breakfast area was very clean and decent size. Check in and check out we're very simple. Overall this was a nice day.

This hotel was the lowest grade of everything that was possible. Cheap lighting, super thin walls, could hear every room above , below and on either side. The iron was rusty and ruined a shirt, Towels was so worn they ended up wet after drying after a shower. Tere was only shampoo in the shower. You had to use a small bar of soap that wouldn’t wash off because of the LOW flow shower nozzle.Breakfast was a joke!

Overall, the stay was fine. While there could be some updates done with the hotel, it serves our purposes for a 2-night stay at a fairly inexpensive cost. It is is a nice area with shopping and restaurants in the area. Somehow, our room was missed by Housekeeping so it was not cleaned for the 2nd night. Also, the night manager did not have a key for the towels closet so we could not get new towels for the 2nd night. The room was clean, and the bed was good.

I didn't get to eat as i was staying in town for a surgery the next morning , but i didnt get the room i reserved, i reserved a room with a king and a queen bed, had my mother and daughter with me. but only got a king bed and a pullout couch. Was very disappointed thats what i paid for but did not get.

I have a service dog and am active duty military whos deployed multiple times. When I advised them I had a service dog they wanted details which are protected not only by federal law but by MS law as well. I tried explaining to them and even showed them all the proof. They continued to argue until i threatened to contact local law enforcement and their actual manager came out and apologized. Saying being that I’d prepaid my family could stay. This is extremely sad veterans are being treated this way and I will never suggest or stay at this hotel again.

Great location that felt safe. The staff was excellent even got me into a suite after a room mix up on my end. The breakfast was HOT and plentiful. The room was a bit noisy from the wind of the weather but we felt safe during the inclement weather. Beds slept well and we truly enjoyed our trip! Will definitely stay again!

The main thing they really need to work on is the breakfast. Their apple juice was not good at all. The biscuits, gravy, and sausage are not heated up before placing in warmer. They were still really cold so we had to put them in the microwave just to be able to eat. They Never have anything different

Upgrades are due for the rooms and breakfast was cold (warmers were not working). I had to use the microwave just to warm it up enough to eat. Air conditioning was fine. Unfortunately, we were on the party floor. Loud music would not afford me the pleasure of a good night's rest.

The man who checked us in was great and upgraded our room This was actually the best part of our stay The room had a light smell of smoking The vinyl floor had edges curling up and warped planks The bed was not comfortable at all The tub floor was very slick, nearly fell getting in to shower We took one look at the breakfast that they offered and ended up going to Waffle House I hate booking a hotel that states it has breakfast only to ding two small sausage patties, a couple small biscuits, and a little gravy that was not fresh

Room size was great and property was easy to get to! That’s the most positive thing I can say. Floors needed some tlc on the vacuuming (especially around edges). Items provided were on the very cheap end! Shower needed to be cleaner (stray hairs and mold on the wall above the shower). Coffee was horrible even in the breakfast area. There was no non stick spray available for the waffle maker and they were chewy, muffins weren’t very good either. We had to get breakfast somewhere else both mornings. So much for saving that money. If you need help at the front desk you ALWAYS have to ring the bell. Would stay somewhere else next time.
