Hampton Inn Jackson/Flowood (Airport Area) MS

The reason for the 3 stars was because it was currently under new construction. Other than that, It was a good experience.

The only negative review I have of this property is that it's virtually impossible to sit in the indoor pool area. The chlorine is so strong it makes your eyes burn and water just sitting in there. I couldn't watch my kids longer than 5 minutes without suffering. Other than that, great place to stay!

When we notified the staff of findings we were told “we have no other rooms.” I would love to speak with management at any time. Front desk said they would leave my name and number for the facility to call, we have yet to hear from them.

Indoor pool was NOT heated. It’s November and we selected this hotel because it had an indoor pool. My kids did not enjoy it. )-:

The hotel was under intense construction while we were there. We were not told of the construction before we booked the hotel so when we got there, it was a surprise. However, they worked hard to accommodate, and we’re all very very kind. I’m sure the hotel will be beautiful once the construction is done.

My room was dirty including dirty linen in the restroom, hair on the bathroom floor, hair behind the entrance door, tv was broken, elevator was broken while being on the 5th floor, washer was broken, room across the hall door stayed open the entire stay with a horrible smell. Front desk was notified.

Lobby construction made the lobby a mess and almost couldn't get to the elevators.

Extremely disappointed with how dirty and run down my room was. Front desk girl offered me a new room promising that was not their standard, only to be put in another room with a disgusting shower. I do not recommend staying here!

I was definitely disappointed that there was no housekeeping service! You go to a hotel and one would certainly expect to come back for the second night with fresh linens, a made up bed, trash emptied! But there was nothing! I will find a hotel that has a daily housekeeping service for my next stay! Shocked…no idea! Ridiculous!

Front desk staff were great. Room was nice except tile floors were stcky and I found tissue between the cushion and arm of chair(visible from stting on the bed). Breakfast was great the first day but Saturday morning(our second day), eggs, sausage and a potatoe product was completely out for over 30 min. Nobody came around to check so my wife notified the desk. They were also completely out of milk as well asneeding more waffle batter. So obviously, something in the breakfast process needs correcting so that does not happen.

Property location was excellent. Pool area was was ridiculously hot the temperature felt like a sauna the staff was unable to assist with that our 1st day and we were only there 2 days. Cleaning staff refused to clean our room and never gave us fresh towels after we asked. We would never stay here again.

This was not the cleanest hotel we've stayed in. You could tell it had been smoked in at some point. Was very musty. We had 2 rooms. In the first, the sheets were dirty. Bed made but sheets were dirty. We had to go down to the front desk to get new sheets and then made our own bed. About 20 mins later, 2 unknown men came to our door and started knocking. They were not hotel employees. We were scared. We had to call for assistance. Assistance came immediately but the guys were gone. The lady at the front desk was very gracious and helpful!!! She put us in another room. We went in and alas, there were already people staying in that room. Went back to the front desk and got another room. Finally got settled in. The stay was average. Our other room was musty but okay. The lady at the front desk, again, was phenomenal and helpful but we won't be staying at this place again.

Room has stinky smell. Not up to the mark.

The staff was wonderful. The A/C control in our room was old and outdated.

Everything was excellent except the mattress - it did a number on my back!

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was sufficient. The only criticism I have is that the rooms were very small. We had a 2 queen room and it was extremely tight. The coffee maker was in the bathroom, which is just unsanitary in my opinion. My parents had a handicapped accessible room and it was more than spacious. I hate to advise that you take a handicapped room if you don't really need it, but you will have a lot more room if you do.

I always get a great nights sleep when staying at a Hampton (Hilton property). They have the best beds and pillows ever! Love this property… quiet and comfortable. Staff is super friendly.

Done with Hampton. The beds are very uncomfortable! Invest in some new, better quality mattresses already! Absolutely one of the most uncomfortable, back busting beds in the motel industry.

Great hotel location and room accommodations. Walk-in shower is a huge plus.

It needs to be updated. It looks like it hasn’t been updated in 15 years. Also it seems like it could use a deep cleaning everywhere. The staff were polite but did not go out of their way to assist you.

I had to check out around 4:45 am and there was nobody at the desk. I used the hotel contact number to call hoping somebody would come to the desk. An employee did come to the desk while the phone was ringing.

Our stay was great. Ebony, our front desk person had the pool working and ready for us when at first it wasn't going to be working. We had about 15 1st-6th graders coming for the state reading fair and we booked the hotel specifically for the indoor pool.

The hotel staff are truly incompetent! I booked this hotel thru my hotels.com App using my Apple pay. Everything was confirmed and when I checked in their was no issues. The room was ok and clean. Nothing special. We were told that breakfast was until 10am so w3 went down at 9:30am and the staff was cleaning up and mostly everything was gone! They had not replenished anything. We had to ask for milk for our cereal and were given some with a scowl on the staffs face like it was a real imposition! Very rude behavior! If the staff is not going to replace anything then they should inform customers that breakfast is open until 10am or until everything is gone! Not cool! So then we go to check out- and they inform me that my room was NEVER PAID for? WTH? I show them my Apple Payment & Confirmation, but they kept telling me they did not receive it! They want me to keep my reservation open and call them later after contacting hotels.com/expedia. I told them I was not going to leave until it was resolved cause I’m not leaving my acct open with them. They finally told me they had to redo my reservation and recharge me…. So I said fine- just get me out of here, cause I need to leave! Well they did recharge me SEVERAL TIMES! I had to contact my credit card company when I got home, cause not only does my statement show the original Apple Pay charge- but several new charges from them as well! So now a ONE NIGHT STAY is costing me over $500! Bunch of crap!

Staff checking us in was very friendly and helpful. Made our stay memorable.

Everything was good with the property and my room. The only thing I didn't like was having to wait for someone at the front desk. Was there a good 10 minutes. Had to call, no answer. "Manager on duty" finally came out but dying told me to hold on. Wait a few extra minutes, someone else comes out. Didn't greet me at all, but was very friendly to the construction crew.

Weekend trip to the Dixie National Livestock Show. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location and room was very nice.

Very convenient to the CelticFest on the Ross Barnett Reservior. At the same time it was very close to a lot of good quality restaurants.

This is my favorite place to stay in Jackson. Close to everything, very friendly staff and great rooms.

People were friendly and helpful. Room was very nice, modern, clean. Location was handy to the area near the airport and local shopping.

On a roadtrip, only stayed one night. Staff was very welcoming and polite. The area is super convenient gas stations, shops and food. The breakfast choices were excellent. They are remodeling but no one was working while we were there. We would definitely visit again.

The receptionists and staff are nice and friendly. They are very helpful. Also the lady that prepares breakfast keeps the food fresh and ready to eat.

The frozen egg omelet had no flavor. The limp bacon was swimming in grease.

My over-all experience was amazing at this location! I don't have no complaints. The staff was amazing & breakfast was awesome! Definitely worth booking!
