The hotel room was clean and generally well maintained. I liked the layout and the in-room furnishings were all well situated and easy to use. The only drawback to the hotel - which I was aware of when booking - is that it is fairly remote from the central part of Salzburg. Luckily, the city has a great public transport network which was free for the duration (the hotel gave me a pre-printed free pass when I checked in) of my stay and so I was only a 20 min bus stop away from the city center, but for those seeking an in-town experience and less mobile, this hotel may not be for you. Given its location, the other downside was the lack of F&B venues around the hotel - only a few limited choices there.

Good room, quiet with no noise from the other rooms. Staff very kind and helpful. The room was VERY very cold. No AC was on, and they couldn’t put any heat on. So I got an extra duvet. Not very cosy. There was a random small hole in the wall. Parking is limited, but free so that was great. Only 15 min car ride to the center where we went on the amazing Sound Of Music tour.
