Homewood Suites by Hilton Ocala at Heath Brook

It was great , the hot tub wasn't working from a hurricane that hit 6-7 months ago ! Think they would have it fixed by now

We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay some place with a nice pool and unfortunately the pool was the one thing that fell short. Overall the room and common areas were in great condition, clean and welcoming. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast was rather tasty with a good mix for everyone. The pool was somewhat dirty and neglected beyond dumping plenty of chlorine into it. The hot tub was in disrepair and full of leaves. Right after we got into the pool a woman in a van pulled up and dropped her 6 kids off to swim. I'm pretty sure they were not staying at the hotel. The gate from the parking lot was unlocked so anyone could just wander in, and staff did not seem to do any policing of the outdoor amenities. Other than the pool this hotel was very nice and wed stay again.

Hot tub was out of order, the pool was very grimy, even after they cleaned it after a rain the night before. Everything else was lovely. Nice room, great breakfast, area around property was terrific.

Great location, lobby was clean, parking was easy and Starbucks across the parking lot. Rooms are quite dated and tired looking. The price is not commensurate with the accommodation conditions.

Clean, quite, good location plenty of shaded parking. The room was in good order, and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in a tad early which was really nice. They had a nice hot breakfast every morning. Pool and spa were clean.

The rooms are decent-sized and have a kitchenette. Some of the items were not maintained as good as they could be. The ceiling fan above the bed in our room was so wobbly it appeared it was going to break loose. Also, my wife really likes using the hot tub and we could understand if it isn't working for a short time, but it did not work the entire 10 days were were there and hadn't worked for some time. The reason provided was that they were waiting on a part. But really if they can't have a guarantee from their vendor to be able to have parts in short order, it seems they should keep spare parts themselves to keep customer satisfaction. The pool was nice though and the complementary breakfast was generally good - definitely above average.

Pool wasn't clean, hot tub was not working, dog fee was not stated up front. They would have a pretty place if they would skim leaves out of pool daily. Would have been a fair price if everything worked

The hotel was great except we booked it for the jacuzzi. But the jacuzzi was broken and green.

We booked this hotel because it had a hot tub but it was out of order during our stay. Property was run down, carpets not swept. I was sorry we were stuck there that night. Breakfast was the poorest on this trip and I believe we paid more for this room than any other on this trip.

Our room was dirty and the toilet did not flush on arrival. We were put in a room near an exterior door with no safety lock for the door

Went for our nephews graduation. Very clean, room was a very nice size. Loved the fact that it has a kitchen with all the essentials needed. Will definitely stay here again when coming to visit

I stayed in this place for a Water Polo tournament that my son had and the truth seemed to me that it was super easy to get there and the attention was very good, however the bathroom in my room was a little dirty, it was nothing of great magnitude and they clean the elevators at 10 in the morning which generates a little chaos because it is the approximate time when all the guests are checking out

Really nice property in excellent location. Huge room with small kitchen, huge comfortable bed, walk in shower. Cleaned every day. Good breakfast included in price. Nice clean pool, guests BBQ and mini golf. Great staff, polite, friendly and helpful.

The check in was easy, the room was big and spacious. While in the shower noticed no shampoo was completely empty and out of conditioner empty.. nor the body soap was empty.. The rooms do not have black out curtains so as soon as it gets daylight outside it's light in the room in the morning. The rooms are little out dated. But overall it's a great place to stay and very safe area.. lots of restaurants around and shopping in walking distance. Great breakfast as well.

I have no idea why this hotel has a ranking over 7. Pool & hot tub were disgusting- hadn't been cleaned or maintained in a while. Rooms were VERY outdated. Sheets had a blood stain on them. Shower was barely a trickle. Breakfast was high carb and little else & looked gross. As a Hilton member, I don't think this Hotel meets Hilton standards AT ALL. Would not recommend or stay here again.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. The service is great. The rooms are consistently well cleaned. It's a very comfortable stay

There was a small roach running around on carpet in front of bed Beer Bottle cap, a metal rod & a penny inside/behind fold out couch Breakfast was fine, would of appreciated a little more options, like diced fruit or something a little more “HILTON”

I don\'t like the new trend that started after the COVID pandemic where hotels no longer service your rooms during your stay. One of the best features of staying at a hotel is coming back to a cleaned and straightened-up room at the end of the day with fresh towels and empty trash bins. This may not be distinct to this hotel, but it is disappointing. As far as this hotel is concerned, the Pros are: 1. It is very well located with plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. That is a huge plus. It even has Tesla Superchargers about a block away. 2. The staff is friendly and helpful. 3. The water pressure is good. I can\'t overstate the impotance of this in my personal preferences for a good hotel. Cons: 1. The furniture, fixtures, and equipment are worn and outdated and the hotel needs a refresh. The sofa in my room was old, worn, and stained and I sank into one of the cushions to the point where it was uncomfortable to sit and I could feel the springs underneath. 2. The shower had a curtain instead of a door. We all know the issue when curtains suck-in during a shower. 3. The carpet in the room and hallways also seemed a bit worn but not as bad as the furniture in the room. Don\'t get me wrong, the hotel wasn\'t "nasty," it just needs to be refreshed. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and once they refresh this hotel it will be a completely positive review from my perspective.

The rooms in this hotel are in dire need of an update. The lobby looks nice and updated, so we were a bit put off by the "oldness" of the rooms. A friend said the same thing to me, so I know I am not off on this. We were in town for a swim meet, so we were unable to use amenities, other than the free breakfast which was quite good! This honestly was the main reason for booking with them, an early start for my swimmer and a good breakfast. That was great, and they had everything out really early like 6 am. The room: a little kitchen with super old appliances. There was unclean silverware in the drawer, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and no dish soap for handwashing anything so I had to use dishwasher powder on a washcloth The bathroom had a yukky plastic shower with a terrible shower head. My daughter said it was impossible to get any soap out of her hair in the fine mist that came out along with no pressure. I showered and agreed. There is a tiny little basketball partial court right by the pool. We had to get some rest for finals and all we could hear was the bang bang bang of the basketball....we had to ask the dude to stop for a while. That was really weird. Bed is fine, pillows a bit flat, but I seriously do not expect perfection. I do prefer a more updated hotel for the price.

We loved this hotel. Super spacious. Great kitchen and bathroom. The AC made the room cold which is a big thing for us. Would 100% recommend this hotel!

Second time this year we stayed at this hotel. My husband raved about it the first time. Love the space and full kitchen. Issue with shower head and the problem was resolved quickly. This is our go to hotel in Ocala. The staff there fantastic. Also utilized laundry and pool. Best hotel on 200.

Homewood Suites is always comfortable and relaxing. That’s why it’s our typical Hilton choice. This was our second time at the Ocala location and we will stay here again in the future

The lady at the front desk was very nice. She explained everything thoroughly. Breakfast was good. Room condition was excellent.

Arrived early, was worried we wouldn't be allowed to check in, but the receptionist assured us our room was ready. She even provided us with a list of restaurants she recommended for the area. All the staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again on our return trip.

Amazing staff! Got an early check-in, plus adjoining rooms with our friends from Canada, the front desk gentleman that worked the evenings went above and beyond helping us with all the amenities.

We’ll Check out suppose to be at 12 pm I kept getting woken up with knocks on the door from housekeeping 9am to 10:15 I got fed up and checked out early I told the lady at the front desk she just said hmmm don’t need a copy of your receipt

The room was great but the breakfast was not. Food was cold and options not very good. Didn’t have orange juice and with coffee not a choice of creamers or Splenda. Staff was more interested in talking to each other than the customers.

Loved this hotel! Staff friendly and helpful. Room was nice and quiet, The staff at breakfast gave us fresh hot muffins right out of the oven. Coffee was flavorful. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby!😁

Overall this facility was a good stay. The only complaints are breakfast wasn’t overly good (not great options) and the pool wasn’t kept very clean.

I thought it was unique that there were so many great Breakfast items as well as a full menu! Very impressive and we thought the food was fantastic.
